Compare SMTP2GO with other popular tools in the same category.
The process is very simple to setup, easy to configure for sending outgoing mail (i.e. Outlook, Web API) Arching sent mail option is Awesome!
no option for putting advance payment in wallet, as archiving is charged basis of usage and then every month you need to pay from credit card. if option available to add money in wallet and deduction as per usage will certainly help.
We've a HRMS solution and is in cloud, from our tool lot of email notifications are triggered (when an employee apply for leave and email notification is sent to reporting manager for approval or rejection), the benefit we get with SMTP2GO is that the mails are delivered promptly without any fail and also if some query to analyse we can refer past transaction record.
-It works all the time -Our delivery rate is very good -The user dashboard makes it easy to manage several account
-Integration with third party app or extensions not always easy
We send critical info an update to people registered to an event weekly (several thousands per week) Our email are sent by a trustable entity so our delivery rate is higher
Easy to setup, manage, uses DKIM and SPF to reduce/remove spam.
Billing took a while to sort out when we upgraded to 500k emails.
Outsourcing our email broadcasts.
Very good value. Works out much cheaper than managing your own mail server. Much more reliable than managing my own mail server too. It's also much easier to administer, even if you have very basic tech skills Flexible SMTP authorization options
For our needs, there is nothing I have come across
Outgoing mail server for eCommerce platform. Outgoing mail for office staff, Very quick to get going. Minimal time required for management.
The service provided by SMTP2GO is excellent, all time is online and the front end is friendly and easy to manage.
by now nothing, all the system is excellent.
send the internal email in my company and manage the campagnes.
We were in a pinch for sending emails as our service provider wasn't stable, lost emails, and eventually discontinued their service. It was incredibly easy to set up SMTP2GO and start using immediately to replace the old solution.
We realize that no person or service is perfect. That being said, we were disappointed when SMTP2GO had an issue sending emails over the course of an hour or two. Unfortunately the emails were not sent and there was no way for them to re-send the messages from their end. We had to spend a lot of time manually figuring out and re-sending the necessary emails. Even the limited outage caused us a lot of cleanup since our service is running and sending emails 24 hours a day.
It is nice having a reliable way of sending emails from our SaaS application. Not only that, when people say "we didn't receive the email," it is very easy to search SMTP2GO's admin portal for the user's email address and see if the email was A) even sent from our application, B) sent by our application and accepted by their email server (which then indicates the problem is on their end), or C) sent by the application and rejected (which is also commonly caused by a problem on their end). Having to do this type of research isn't something we have to do often, but it is nice to have the reporting feature available to us when needed.
A fair priced email relay service, would recommend
Can be quite aggressive with blocking hotmail
Ability to send from multiple domains a great help
The best feature with SMTP2GO is the ease of use and monitoring of emails. We are easily able to track
No real dislikes at this time. We have had no issues and all trouble tickets have been responded to in a very quick response.
We are using SMTP2GO for our intranet emails and scan from our office scanners. This is helping to take some of our strain off of our on prem email servers.
Easy to use - just plugged our SMTP2GO credentials into our emailing program and it reliably sends - never had a problem.
Nothing to dislike with what I use it for - but I don't really use any special features.
Needed to send out 200,000 email a week through an old desktop email programs - this service plugged in perfectly.
Simple and straight forward UI. Easy to work with and setup. Support is fast and get back to you in a timely manner. Integration has been easy and the Features like archiving are great for continuity.
I think the lack of local servers is what i dislike.
Outgoing mail needs to be checked constantly and its good to have a easy to use platform to identify errors when mails go out. It also gives me a good idea on the health of my Mail Server and reachability of mail going out. It also doesnt hurt that it saves my online ip reputation.
I like the ease of adding new users in a very short time. The multiple ports and protocols are a big pro. Also the stats / reports are nice to have. They notify and think with you when they detect a spam pike from a certain domain.
You cannot assign a webhook to a single user.
I experienced problems with sending mail from my own server. Often they didn't arrive. Therefore I wanted to have a solid worry-free, reliable solution for sending mail instead of configuring and maintain a smtp-server myself. The quality is very good for the prices. I would recommend SMPT2GO to everyone.
Ease of use and being able to have insight in to what mail is sent and received (or not received).
Nothing specific. Would be nice if prices we're a little lower or if free tier had a higher limit.
I use SMTP2GO to send e-mails from websites we've built. I usually have a lot of problems with mail being marked as spam and this is never an issue with SMTP2GO
Target the right market and segment and give consultancy when needed
Need to look more into small segmentations, different interest
Reaching clients
Ease of use and technical knowledge is not required to use. Great for use where SMTP servers are problematic.
I have not found anything I dislike at this time.
Client who had issues with SMTP server being very unreliable, SMTP2GO solved his problems until such time as we could move his hosting.
Simple. The interface is intuitive and well laid out. 1-2-3 Done. 1 created the account. 2 assign a password. 3 setup the ports. Test-Working. Takes 5 minutes, Start to Finish.
The dislike is actually a good thing. If there is an issue, the staff is on you fast and furious. Almost, too furious! Good thing really!
Was having issues finding a email server that was reliable and would support un-encrypted and encrypted messages. SMTP2GO support everything I through at it. Has allows me to consolidate my servers into one!
Great monitoring tools that make it easy to track everything.
The pricing model for lower number of e-mails is quite coarse.
I need to send e-mails from dedicated devices with basic e-mail sending capabilities which I am sending out from cellular radios. The devices only support smtp delivery and the ISP for the cell network doesn't offer an e-mail server so I need a means to send out the e-mails. These are sent out to a gmail account via smtp2go.
It is a reliable service and we did not experience any problems over the past years. Their control panel is also most useful in checking the status.
I honestly cannot find something. In the past we had to make sure that in our domain control panel that our identity was maintained, but that was only once.
We are sending some mass mails to clients with attachments , which would have great delays through our corporate IT structure for some reason. In this way it works perfect.
I have been using SMTP2Go outbound email services for a number of my clients for over 5 years now. They are proactive in ensuring all the latest secure email technologies are employed yet keeping the setup and operation simple and straight forward.
Nothing, all good. I am not sure what its making me type more than I want to
Without SMTP2Go outbound mails service my customers email servers would require mych more upkeep, maintenance and security to ensure the latest compliance for outbound email
Nothing stands out as best, but as mentioned, it works effectively.
nothing stands out as bad; nothing comes to my mind as poor or ineffective....
It has permitted me to send a lot of emails which my ISP provider does not permit.
It has been very reliable for many years. Also it is very well priced
the web interface is quite slow and cumbersome to navigate around
Sending emails from home automation systems
Works as supposed to. Been using it since 2013 with no troubles. Good interface for actual management.
Getting to past purchases is somewhat tedious but doable.
Mail is being sent as we wish.
SMTP2GO's transparent pricing structure, ease of use and web interface are great, but it's their ability to deliver to the inbox which makes me recommend them the most. I switched to smtp2go about 3 years ago and have been very pleased with both the service and support that I have received during that time. The service is fairly priced and I love the recent improvements to the bounce email setup and dashboard UI.
The API could be quicker and more advanced, but delivery via SMTP is quick and reliable.
As a small business, we used to use Mandrill for all our human-generated emails. When they announced they were moving to block this usage of their platform, we searched for ages and came across SMTP2GO.
99% up. Easy to use. can use with 3rd party software without issue.
If there is a issue they are quite persistent, to the point of being annoying.
provides consistent email services. within minutes a new user can be added and be up and running.
I've used several 'email server distributors' but SMTP2GO is the easiest to set up that I have found, as well as keeping me up to date with better ways to secure my emails so they nearly always get through
Not much really, the initial setup can seem to ask you for a lot if you are a novice
We keep our bulk email shots away from our O365 server and protect our reputation.
i like the dashboard and the interface. easy to use and understand
i dislike when my limit is reached and i have to pay more
email delivery success rate and i can track emails easily in one click
Ability to use messaging in any IoT device with SMTP capabilities
Would like to have your billing practices changed.
Use SMTP2GO for error messaging with client devices that we cannot remote manage.
Email communication flows more smoothly, no interruptions or outages in our first year. Clients are happy their messages are delivered and we now have reporting to show them as well.
Nothing I can think of. The product just works
Our client was having outages sending nightly notifications and blaming us. We were able to show them the outages were not with our process but with end users blocking their messages as spam. The reporting from moving to SMTP2Go allowed us to show the messages sent by their server and then out of SMTP2Go. The rest was on the receiving party.
I am happy with the timely response of the Technical support team when we have issues. Since we use the SMTP2GO API services exclusively, the types of issue we encounter are, for the most part extremely technical in nature and the SMTP2GO Software Support team do a good job in helping us solve issue quickly.
Previously, out Email Archive was maintained for an indefinite period and now it is a paid service. This fact is understandable, but I am not happy with it.
Our servers processes many thousands of email messages monthly. The volume of message requires we have an SMTP service that provides good performance and timely technical support to avoid prolonged backlogs of messages. SMTP2GO provide us with the support and performance we need at a reasonable price.
We use SMTP2GO at my organization and we are pleased with the services they provide and the ease-of-use of their product. We use it for a mass mailing system we have. We are otherwise using Google for our e-mail relay provider, but they have a cap on the number of e-mails any one address can send in a day. Needing to get messages out to many people at one time, we can't live with that. SMTP2GO provides tiered plans for number of e-mails you would need to send and it also wouldn't be the end of the world if we went over as there is a cheap rate for additional messages until we get the opportunity to change our plan, if need be. We value SMTP2GO's services.
We do not have anything at this moment where SMTP2GO does not provide adequate services.
We are able to send mass e-mails to people while our primary e-mail relay service has daily caps.
