The integration is seamless, it's quite easy to integrate with your product and implement, their API documentation is also apt.
Stripe doesnt connect with some of my country specific payment vendors which is an issue because i cannot cater to a wider audience.
It helps in bill payments for B2B and B2C users, mainly subscription products such as bill payments, and B2C products such as giftcards. It helps with payments, and revenue calculations.
Easy to use. We dont need much of inputs from the portal side.
Call support is not available as like as any other PG website
Useful for collecting payments
The way you can setup a product within a few clicks. Also our recurring membership revenue is going very smooth with the stripe Billing.
I think to add a new product and see how soon members are going into paying
To get our membership money is i would say most important
I like 2 things about stripe 1. The Payment failures are zero compared to other payment gateways. 2.It is very easy to keep track of the payments and see all the details regarding the transaction including the exact reason if the payment was failed.
the login part, we have to put in so many details to finish up the setup compared to the others.
we are using stripe to get international payments and this is helping us with zero payment errors.
Stripe is easy to use and manages the billing process for a significant percentage of our customer base. We use the system every day to track our customer payments and manage our product pricing. The system provides a helpful set of reports that can be easily set for any date range.
Limited flexibility in the user interface. Not clear how to build custom reports.
Collecting monthly or annual revenue from our subscribers and managing multiple different subscription plans with minimal effort required.
What's best using Stripe is the simplicity of the tool.
Multiple products can sometimes be overwhleming
It helps a lot in producing invoices efficiently and combined with payment it's a really comprehensive solution
Easy to setup and no waiting or approval period
Interface is not very GUI friendly - I would love to see them develop this aspect of the platform.
Ability to provide invoices and payment options using other web based platforms.
Stripe has a very clear User Interface. What I like about it the most is that after a couple of days, nothing seems chaotic.
Sometimes, I find the loading times slightly slow.
Stripe Billing helps us verify the validity and quality of an account in my company.
Stripe is the fastest service for receiving money and it has very less fees as compared to any other payment gateways. Stripe also has great customer service they immediately reply and clean UI.
Stripe has to make some features for service based business because for receiving payment they ask for the address which does not make sense for service based business
Stripe helps me in receiving payments internationally from the comfort of my home and also I'm able to track all my data with stripe billing I can easily invoice my clients and receive payments.
It was easy to setup for my non profit, easy to integrate with our website, and the reporting was helpful to analyze sales.
It was difficult to initiate refunds and expenses for our employees. We needed other accounts to do this and it would have been more helpful to do it with one service.
Stripe provided us a better experience for our customers that shopped in our online store. Prior solutions had our customers using different services to check out and caused confusion and hesitancy.
Easy to use and easy to build into any platform Reputable way to collect payments and trusted by clients. It also allows us to split payments which is an incredible feature for a marketplace. It’s great to be able to tip on it.
Not built for microtransactions - takes too much off of our spread. Would switch to another payment processor for more competitive pricing.
Ability to collect payments online, benefit of reputability and simplicity with clients.
This service is incredibly easy to set up and makes receiving payments so efficient. It is also very cost effective.
There is often a one week wait between Stripe receiving payment from our clients and them passing the payment on to us.
Invoicing and income is all automated now and very effecient
Easy to implement into our system and is incredibly robust.
I would like better reporting -- we have to use a 3rd party churn, LTV product and I think there's an opportunity to build better reporting.
Capturing recurring revenue.
Ease of use APIs of Stripe Stripe Support
The cost should be a little lower I find it expensive a bit when you’re taking payment from Amex card
I’m using this for taking recurring payments from our clients
Stripe has worked great for our business. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to process payments, so that you do not have to store client credit card data.
The set up was not easy. We had our developers doing everything and it took a long time and needed a lot of work for pricing tier set up based on user amounts. Maybe it was an issue with the developers we had working on the task, but it took much longer than we expected to get things integrated into our platform.
This is how we are billing and charging clients. We have a monthly payment structure based on the amount of users clients have in our system.
I like that stripe has both an API that can be used to integrate with my website, but that I can also sign in to their easy to use interface to get things done quickly!
Sometimes I think that the payment structure behind stripe is tough to use.
We're solving the business problem that is trust: with stripe, people know straight away that they can trust us.
They've made some impressive UI improvements since we've been using it. Search has improved and it really is easy to use for billing and charging.
Support had been a bit of a pain in the past to get in touch in people. That said, my most recent issue was responded to quickly and resolved painlessly so hopefully this is on the rise.
We use Stripe to bill and charge our customers. We are able to easily collect the money we are owed for our services. We also use it to host our transaction engine for our marketplace.
I like the feasibility that Stripe provides for our users. Students who want to take a course at Udacity can easily use Stripe to make their payments.
There's not a lot of things I can complain about the product.
Some of our students are reluctant to start a course at Udacity. But having a monthly subscription encourages them to sign up.
Stripe has great documentation and developer tools, do building complicated systems off of their platform is easy.
Hard to think of any big complaints - this is the best payment platform I’ve encountered.
Stripe was handling all of our credit card payments, giving us webhooks whenever charges were made or actions taken. Their model also allowed us to easily implement a “pause subscription” feature by just altering the trial dates, even after a subscription was active.
I like the quick view stats at a glance on the dashboard, and ease of overall use.
I dislike not clearly knowing what their algorithm is for giving discounts for month-after-month large transactions. My understanding is they use some form of a matrix to decide if there are lower-level tiers for those that charge a lot... but there is no stated amount, and they will not tell you more than what I've said here.
I'm using Stripe with a custom shopping cart solution and their API is VERY developer-friendly. We're able to use this a lot quicker and with less development time than previous APIs.
Easy to install the plugin with little to no coding knowledge required. Pay per use.
Relatively high fee if you are relying on this to process large payments.
Making the check out experience smooth and painless for customers online through our website. Potential to develop subscription products.
I like how versatile and flexible it is compared to other platforms. Very simple to implement on your website and the documentation is really clear and complete. Testing on this platform is also very easy and is very helpful towards development and testing.
I dislike that it requires someone to have a decent knowledge of web development in order to use the product because then I am unable to recommend it to others freely.
We used this platform as a way to let clients pay for our services. It was very unintrusive and customizable which makes it versatile.
Payment processing is simple and provides good basic analytics for customers payments/revenue.
If you want to upgrade, all additional add-ons are quite expensive.
Payment processing and tracking.
Easy to use, and reliable. I'm aware that there are more functions of the software than what I use it for.
I wish there were processes that were a bit more automated.
Stripe helps us bill customers based on the SKUs purchased, and keeps accounts running while in good standing + pauses/ cancels them when they are not.
It is built into several platforms we use to process donations seamlessly.
The charges are significant per transaction.
We accept donations on our website and Stripe is built into the donor management platforms.
Stripe is easy to use, and you can quickly create multiple billing options, along with the ability to seamlessly add promo/discount codes. It's integration with Xero also gives small companies the ability to easily provide their customers with the option of online card payments.
Expensive and costly for larger invoices. I believe it should be capped at a certain amount.
seamless billing integration and online card payments
I like that I set it up and don't have to do anything else.
the time it takes to get the money transferred to the account
Credit card payments
Stripe is very simple to use and integrate into a variety of platforms. I run both a merchandise store and my newsletter subscription through it so I run thousands of dollars through their system every year. It's flexible and has a great dashboard so you can see all transaction details.
While their customer service is pretty good, I have some concerns. A month ago my store got hit by a card testing attack and it took them days to really address my concerns about having to eat the fees, which hit at the worst time for me causing a number of bank overdrafts. They did eventually fix it. But it took days longer than it should have.
I used stripe for a mix of merchandise, newsletter subscriptions, and sometimes I send a freelancing invoice through them. It works and gives a lot of details about transactions and volume.
- Easy to Manage Subscription - Fast & Resecure - Easy to Integration
- they are providing test and live into same panel, some body creating issue
- you just need to create subscription and other thing manage by stripe it self
