Thinkific brings beautifully simple course creation. Easy to use. Drag and drop building makes it a breeze to put together an online course in such a short period of time. Customer service is outstanding. They are very responsive to answering questions and having tons of webinars to get you started.

Such features could use updating. Some custom templates could use updating as well as now they only have three templates to choose from. Branding options could be stronger and an integration of live webinars would be an outstanding addition!

Some advanced features will require knowledge of APIs and webhooks and even in-app functionality might only be possible through third-party paid apps. Although, the flexibility to extend it's functionality is a nice feature.

We needed a large-scale learning platform to serve our 500,000+ student audience. Thinkific makes it easy to build quality courses that are easy for people to access and enjoy. The user-friendly UI makes studnet onboarding simple as well.

I love regular meetings with our Thinkific PLUS Customer Success manager. She can troubleshoot about our specific design needs, connect us with support, and respond to our requests asynchronously. It feels very high-touch in that we know there's someone from Thinkific on our side helping us achieve our goals on a regular basis.

Sometimes there's not support for design changes that are deemed outside the scope of Thinkific's role (for instance, creating custom CSS to add to a site) but these design changes are made necessary by structures in Thinkific's site builder specifically, so it feels like there might need to be some support for solving issues that only exist because of some of Thinkific's existing structures. I also wish there were more interactive design options within Thinkific's courses as opposed to having to use outside applications with extra cost.

Thinkific allows us to provide asynchronous self-paced training for our customers who might not be able to take time out of their day to attend a live webinar. We've seen that these courses are popular in some areas.

It's a little difficult to setup if you are not experienced with Thinkific. It took a lot of clicking around to find specific things, it wasn't exactly aligned in a way that made sense to me.

Using as a platform to upload, host and sell a workout guide, ability to accept payments for this guide through here. It is seamless to be able to have the workout program all in one place as well as client list and payment options. Customers can watch the workout videos/view the PDF all in once place.

Thinkific is a comprehensive learning management system platform that provides text, video, and discussion for both learners and teachers. It handles a variety of questions/answers and their scoring well.

Uploading text could be improved and could save the user time, especially if there are some repeated questions.

We needed an online learning platform that would meet the needs of doctors as well as undergraduate students. We wanted to present text for download as well as voiced video. We needed to have tests to certify learning. We accomplished this with Thinkific's system.

I appreciated how much control you had over the various aspects. Even the free version was great. We were able to gain important insights to various strengths and weaknesses in our training and onboarding processes which helped make future decisions. Using a program like thinkific allows you to create learning environments while also providing you with key insights to help understand the gaps in certain areas of our work. Another massive benefit to thinkific is that it is very simple to set this up. They have created a user-friendly platform that allows a certain degree of customization. We were able to transition our content into the modules that we were hoping to create quite quickly. This allowed us to build a prototype training program.

It would be awesome to have Salesforce integration. So much of what we do flows through this. It would be nice to be able to incorporate this to different Contractor accounts for the purposes of reporting. When we use tools that don't fully integrate it does create extra work for the company which makes us less productive. Granted, we have only sampled the free version up to this point, but if we were to invest in this further, I would hope that we could maximize our usage by the ability to streamline this.

We are providing training modules to contractors. This has allowed us to ensure greater quality of work among our workforce. Prior to using this platform, we relied heavily on manpower to accomplish what we needed to accomplish. This has reduced that massively.

I like that the support team is extremely helpful and quick to reply to questions!

The assessment feature only has one explanation per question. Also, embedding images within the assessment questions is currently not natively-supported. Although, it integrates with third-party tools...

The UX is very simple to use, clear and straight-forward. It is very easy to create a site, add content and modify.

There are some limitations to metrics and reporting. I would like more direction for small companies with their own developers to be able to achieve basic customizations when we don't yet have the budget for a bigger plan.

I have build a knowledgebase for our employees and for our software product. We are making learning digestible and available 24/7.

The premade templates make it easy to create quickly and easily. There are many different options of types of lessons you can create and even with the free version, you are able to put together a comprehensive course that flows nicely. Students are introduced on how to use the course before it even starting, making it a better experience for them and more likely to recommend the course created.

There could be more options to customize the design and elements of the course in a user friendly way that even those who are not great with design can handle.

Needing a easy way for those who are not great technically to navigate the course, Thinkific was able to provide an user friendly design for students of the course and for the instructor.

This is a great resource for our constituents to use and share.

The ability to create an entire online learning environment. The analytics and insight into student behavior is also very valuable. The customer service and support has been really helpful to make sure we're getting the best out of what Thinkific Plus has to offer.

The email and scheduling apps our company uses are not easily integrated with Thinkific Plus which just means having to choose between platforms.

Thinkific Plus is offering a platform for learners to engage on that is not just a Facebook group or some form of social media. I like the community boards and how people are able to share and respond to others. Thinkific Plus is also allowing us to deliver instruction online which is more useful for our student base and helps to offer a hybrid/blended model of learning CPR, How to Use an AED and other skills we are teaching on our platform.

ThinkificPlus was a great entry point for us when building our academy and provided the functionality we needed at the time.

There isn't as much customization as I would have liked to see in an LMS.

For small plans, there is no option to send out mass communications to the students.

We don't have to maintain students' assignments & notes in emails. Student's have the advantage to manage all their learnings on a single dashboard right from their notes to their assignments.

This LMS is aesthetically pleasing. It has a pretty intuitive logic flow so it's easy for almost anyone to navigate. It also works on phones pretty well.

Thinkific provided a platform for a shared learning experience that otherwise would not have been possible. We convened people from around the world and using Thinkific in concert with live Zoom meetings, it was an effective and rich learning community.

I love how easy and straightforward it is to use! Students have also shared that it is user-friendly. There are various options to create content with, such as video, audio, text, etc. There are different ways to make the course material engaging such as quizzes. I also really love that the videos you upload remain in a library so it's easy to transfer one video to another course if needed. It's great that you can have multiple courses running at once.

As a small business who does not use all the feature, I find it fairly expensive. On the other hand, I would appreciate it if there were more flexible payment plan options, a sliding payment scale, and coupon code options to provide exclusive discounts. I don't use the selling/payment integration, landing page and confirmation email features or this reason. Everything except for the course itself is done externally and students enroll for "free".

It's providing a platform for me to run courses on! I've realized the benefits of exploring different ways to teach and deliver course material.

I love how easy it is to use and create courses. We selected Thinkific Plus after extensive research of the LMS market. They checked all the boxes that others could not. And on the surface, we've been very happy with the product. As well, we've been very happy with the level and quality of onboarding services we've purchased.

Where Thinkific lets you down is if you need anything customized to your business model. We purchased a White Label product, but very quickly discovered it was at best Gray Label. And when asking for help to complete the White Label conversion, we were left to hunt and peck on our own then code the changes ourself. So I'm not exaclty sure what we're paying for. Additionally, after months of discussions with their sales team and engineering team, many of the requirements we were told could be accomodated, we were left with partial solutions that only sort of meet our needs.

Our clients are Coaches and the Thinkific platform is one part of a complete solution package that we have for Coaches to use with their clients.

I'm a power user who made $2.5M selling courses with Teachable. Recently Teachable switched to a very expensive pricing scheme, so I moved my school to Thinkific. I paid for the Grow plan for the entire year in order to be able to use their email marketing feature. Today I found out that they suspended my email sending privileges due to not having unsubscribe link in my email. WHICH THEY SAID WAS TECHNICALLY IMPOSSIBLE WHEN I REACHED OUT AND ASKED HOW I CAN ADD UNSUBSCRIBE LINKS TO MY MESSAGES!!! Planning to sue them in small claims court but they're in Canada, so not sure if it's a good idea to work with them unless you reside in Canada. Regret moving my school to Thinkific. Stay away!

It is creating more problems than it solves at this point

Easy to set up initially but watch for costs

Only use if you never (and I mean never) want to close account I have been trying to close our thinkific account for a year, it is impossible! It will let you downgrade to a free account but there you are stuck! You might think, that’s ok, they’re now charging you. Well, the problem is that every time you disable a course another one is reactivated. I have just had to refund a load of learners who have managed to sign up and pay for courses that we no longer run.. Not good for business!!!! There are other, better and more cost effective platforms out there. Impossible to speak to a person, Help pages are a joke
