I really like vimeo's feature of creating video with content automatically just by giving script for video.

Sometime it's really hard to change image sin videos

Vimeo is helping me creating videos in less time by auto video creation option and it helps me ave time as I handle complete marketing single HANDEDLY.

Vimeo is a robust solution that I've used for over 5 years in my business. The video playback works great on all platforms, the player is quick to load, you can define playback speed, domain protection etc.

the user interface. it has gone through several changes in the last years and it's just too clunky. The analytics can't compete with what you find on wisita or sproutvideo

The user interface, the recognizable brand of Vimeo, and the great back-end tools for uploading and hosting videos. Hosting is included in the price.

Our internet connection was sometimes intermittent, so if our internet cut out Vimeo would just end the livestream instead of giving our equipment a chance to reconnect.

We initially went with Vimeo to livestream (before COVID) to Vimeo and syndicate to other livestream sites and then host those and other pre-recorded videos. It was effective until we started running into Internet connectivity issues that we could not solve with Vimeo.

How easy it is to set up streams, embed to other websites, and record live content for future use.

I had big issues setting up streams with my European Zoom account, but it turned out to be a Zoom problem, not a Vimeo problem.

We've used it to stream our conference talks, training events, and to pull recorded content when it wasn't saved via Zoom. It's saved us a few times when that's happened!

I like the ability to quickly find videos, share them with people, and to be able to see how that video is being watched. I enjoy exploring the different facets of the website.

Visibility is lower than YouTube by all measures. It has a smaller audience, fewer views, and lower standing in Google's search results. It is also not free which can be a big negative for people whoc ant afford it.

I am solving the problem of having a place record, keep, edit, and share videos all in one place. It has made me more productive and has allowed by business performance to increase.

Simplicity. The UI is not over complicated and makes it easy to manage all of my videos. The menu is short and clear but gives me what I need.

Because of the simplicity, there is not a ton of customization. When it comes to video management, I would like to have more options for what my "channel" looks like. I recognize that this is not supposed to be a 1 for 1 with Youtube, but there are options for making the aesthetics look more "us" that just aren't available with Vimeo.

We host a lot of our website videos on Vimeo. It's a great back-end spot for sites and marketing spots that require an upload via a third party.

Ability to use multiple platforms in a live broadcast. Powerpoints, Video, Voice, polls, etc.

Bandwidth with 800+ people was tough. Video when expanded into full screen was blurry and resolution was not particular keen on the eyes.

It is easy to upload multiple videos at once, create categories for your videos, change permission sets, and to share/embed video elsewhere.

It is not as searched as YouTube so it doesn't necessarily help with our profile.

We needed a place to house video for our business and make them easily accessible through multiple means.

My audience doesn't have to log in to view VIMEO is like youtube, but for filmmakers

They finally added a few features that make organizing your videos better and that was nice For some reason people weren't always able to figure out how to purchase our episodes or full series, so perhaps that could be made clearer. I love it as a personal social platform but for business it's a little rough and they have a lot of kinks to work out

It also makes the content more protected against pyracy than other websites. Our association generates public service announcements and vimeo cuts out the need for a third party that we would have needed to create a shareable link Vimeo does integrate much more smoothly with the app than YouTube

One time upload limit in uploading videos isn't fun,

It is so nice to use a video platform without being hounded by ads, priced correctly and is customizable. Main business problems I solve with Vimeo is moulding videos as our clients require them to be. The pre-production comments make it really easy to communicate and meet customer needs. Its pricing also makes it very attractive, so there's that financial benefit as well

very useful when you want to show others how your work is, your day to day.

I started in a human resources company with few resources but a lot of potential and, thanks to vimeo 360, we were able to demonstrate effectively all that we were as a company

you can Upload in up to 8K , quality is about 4K Ultra HD player Two-pass transcoding , even you have Monoscopic & stereoscopic support and moreover is by Downloadable HD video files, also you can Simple upload flow and they have Customizable field of view, Pitch and yaw settings you have in the program 360 badge & compass embed options and a Help Center assistance

prices, they dont have a free version, and this is quite a pitty

Host all our business videos with storage to spare, and start at the end at our company 360 videos with Vimeo PRO or Business.

Vimeo is often used to watch high resolution videos either through independent sites and offers a great way to give an audio/visual presentation for a variety of different uses. I value the audio/visual component in the classroom because it not only captures the imagination, but it also allows students the opportunity to also use videos in their own classroom presentations.

There aren't any problems that I have had with Vimeo videos other than downloading issues from time to time.

I have played video presentations with Vimeo in the classroom. As someone who recognizes the value of audio/visual presentations in the classroom, I can say that Vimeo 360 is a great tool for teaching content and inspiring creativity in 21st century learners. I look forward to future opportunities to use Vimeo360 as a teaching tool for both teacher as well as student use.

The best thing about Vimeo is it allows you to upload videos from anywhere in the world

Then negatives involve problems with camera quality or sound but the better the computer the better the video!

I like the intuitive nature the tool, as well as the out of the box metrics that one can pull for video engagement at a high level. The customer service and account management is top notch as well and makes using the software a piece of cake (for the most part, and if you're an experienced video marketing professional ;)

There could be more customization available to the end user to provide user created metrics that may be specific to the business.

The ability to assign passwords and allow clients to download their completed file.

I cannot change the ability for clients to download through the app. This makes it frustrating to have a client's payment go through and not be able to give them access to their file while on my mobile device.

It allows me to send a viewable file to clients, then replaces a watermarked video with the final video without changing the original link that I sent to the client.

It's a great place to see inspiring work from other videographers, animators and more.

I'm not really sure where it stands, you can use YouTube for hosting anything, there are special platforms like Dribbble or Behance for specific project, then you can use it for project management but I prefer Frame.io. Vimeo gets lost in the mix it doesn't do any one thing great but several things that it's just OK at.

Sometimes I will put things on Vimeo because of it's reputation, i.e. People think it's cooler to have something Vimeo hosted for some reason.

The ease of being able to watch when you have time, pause if needed, and return when available. It reminded me more of watching you-tube videos, which is one of the latest trends in technology. Also, you can watch it on various devices.

That sometimes the video graphics were not ideal, although this may be more due to the technology available to the recorder.

This is an easy way for our campus to share information from meetings, Public announcements, or Professional development.

The premium quality vimeo brings to video is not comparable.

I don't like that no one uses vimeo (imo) unless they have a link to the video they are going to. It doesn't seem as if people browse through vimeo like they do on YouTube.

I like the ease of use from the site. It is very user friendly and straight forward. The video school also allows beginners to edit video and learn how to expand their knowledge.

Vimeo, unlike other video platforms, allows you to upload high-end HD video content. This is important for those who are looking to show video quality when sharing content.

The issue with Vimeo is that, unlike other video platforms, it is not a search engine. Therefore, when people go to this site it will be harder for people to find you organically.

With Viemo we are able to upload our video content and then from Vimeo's embed link, embed the video onto our website and landing pages. It also is a place to house all out videos.
