I like how well this tool implements with Zoho Projects. We use this tool to provide reports to leadership and review team goals. One small but important feature that I like is that I can show dates by ISO week. The charts and visualizations are useful for providing management. The price is at a good pricepoint for the level of utility we need.
So far, I have not had many issues with Zoho reports. I'm using it heavily as a task/project reporting tool along with Zoho Projects so I am not able to provide too much insight into other uses.
Project Planning and Project Reporting. It is beneficial for us to be able to give leadership members these reports instead of having them go through the individual projects. By connecting tasks to users, it also help our team see who is doing what and who is behind on what so we can allocate additional resources to a task.
I like that it can pull data for my reports across multiple modules. I like that it can export my 100,000+ equipment inventory unlike the regular reports module in CRM.
I dislike the limit of 5 pulls a day. I also dislike that's it's a big difficult (meaning I need to know a little bit of coding) in order to add different sections to my reports.
Easier access to my information makes work more productive and efficient for me
Ease of importing data, simplicity of updating data, ability to modify reports on the fly.
lack of customization features to reporting, lack of variability in report types.
Automation of reporting to save labor, putting information at the finger tips of program managers.
works well with google drive and fairly easy to use.
my issue most likely, but i would like training videos and maybe some more customization
easy way to develop reports and distribute
I like that it is easy to separate the data you are looking for and need to report on.
The once a day update/refresh is a little hard to get use to.
Monitoring Account Progress Tracking Sales Leads Allows us to look into the data further.
Zoho Reports is cheap and powerful. You can create custom reports by importing data from a local database either manually or through using their built in scripts to automate it.
The interface takes a little while to get used to. Automating data upload using the given script takes a fair amount of time to setup, and there's very little feedback to its success. It lacks a lot of the features of other more expensive tools (SAP Lumira, Tableau), but if you're not looking for something too advanced, this will work for you.
We've successfully used this to complement our other reporting tools (which were more tabular based) by using ZR's very graphic oriented reports. They look very professional and can be branded with your own customer logos.
Very simple to use. Took a few hours to get my first report out. Easy to publish via email to my team.
Ease and ability of joining data from more than one source.
Better sales transparency.
Facility of use Ability to import and share easily any data Price Availability and benevolance of support team
Regular slow down requiring the indexation of tables by Zoho Support Team It is a pity that Zoho does not offer the ability to combine sql data on one side and direct data input by users on the same table Support is not adapated to European working hours and is limited to English.
Complex reporting from 30 agencies specialized in B2B services
I really enjoy being able to ad and remove uses as needed on the fly.
I think the interface is a bit bland but super responsive. I believe it could also be integrated better with the CRM and given better accessibility.
I use it to get more detailed information on the sales teams in my company and try to figure out what is working and what is not.
Very easy to set up customized reports. I have some requirements that Zoho CRM can't do on it's own. I have Reports setup to pull data from CRM every night and send me a summary of all my projects on the go. I have one client that I have set up to receive the same summary of the projects they have on the go. If they have nothing going, system doesn't sent them summary.
Haven't found anything that I don't like.
See above. Saves me a ton of time as I only have to setup once.
Zoho reports lets you create reports pretty simply and it lets you join multiple data sources together in a single report. The various filters are very helpful and relatively easy to use as well.
You need to be technically inclined to use the tool well. Understanding what data comes from where and how they relate to give you an accurate report is necessary, so this tool is not great for a novice or non-technical user.
We were pulling data from various reporting sources and trying to bring them together in a central place where everyone could view them. We succeeded in increasing visibility as we had hoped.
Fully integrated with the Zoho suite, making it simple to get all our data at the same place.
Not the best tool out there for advance reporting.
Get analytics report and integrate them with our Zoho CRM leads.
The interface is easy to use, I feel I can manage all aspects of my finances for my business using its different tabs, I can create invoices. Send receipts, keep track of costs
Sometimes the interface can be a little complicated. There are a lot of tabs in different mechanisms and sometimes I get a little confused with what exactly I'm looking at. But the analytics are still really important and I think I just need to keep practising using that the system
The software helps me analyze my profit margins, how well, I'm doing in the quarter, who owes me money, which invoices are paid and patterns in sales of my services
Affordability, Wide range of features, Easy to use applications, Ability to integrate with different sources.
Not much visualisation, Big data handling is an issue. A lot of features are turned off for light users.
One can understand technical data easily, Data consolidation and reporting and Team collaboration.
I like being to see all of my dashboards and easily toggle between different categories.
The info does not update continuously, it only updates every four hours so when a change in made in our CRM, we cannot see the data right away.
Zoho analytics solves the problem of looking in multiple places or running manual reports for data purposes. I can check my dashboards in the morning and afternoons without needing to go into our CRM to pull a report or create a new one.
Integration with other apps makes it easy to make it a centralised product
Ah, this comes with a hefty price to have and use a centralised product
Use it for tracking the customer data and their sales
Ability to integrate it with our product seamlessly and generate the insights required.
Nothing, overall the experience was good.
Analytics from SaaS product usage, pulled on a custom dashboard which is updated in real-time.
The tool is very powerful and can create all sorts of robust and complex reports. I especially like how it allows me to see what my sales team is doing and track activity for certain marketing functions.
While it is a powerful tool, it is complex to set up and often requires multiple calls to support to get resolution. Getting the issue resolved can take 2-3 calls if the first support person you talk to doesn't have expertise in that area or if you can understand them at all due to long distance and language.
Zoho Analytics gives me a quick at a glance view of anything I need a report on from Zoho CRM. It helps my team to be more productive and focus on the activities that result in the best results.
The ability to merge different data sources into reports and create dashboards to group and display related charts and widgets.
Some of the functions are buggy and frustrating such as the configuration sidebar disappearing and wiping all your settings if your mouse leaves the area when setting up scheduled email templates.
Building reporting systems that allow easier analysis and identification of patterns in large data sets. The simple chart displays help to communicate this information at different levels within the business.
The best part about Zoho Analytics is the amount of different ways you can look at data and then dive deeper. You can cross two tables to show things against each other (i.e. time vs. sales) and really be able to analyze your data at another level.
The only main downside is accessibility.
We were providing summary data to clients in static form. We weren't able to get the detailed insight to inform our clients of what was happening with their business. Now, we are able to see exactly where and when changes are happening. Sometimes down to do the day.
Easy to integrate with Zoho platform and other Zoho products. Quick reports of mail campaigns, sales performance and general activity
Some strings of information should be able to talk to each other that cannot. Zoho has said they are optimizing the Reports app
Easy to make quick charts and graphs for presentations. Reports can be accessed by team, shared and exported quickly
Easy to use, drag and drop fields really helps
It cannot be integrated with zoho people
It has helped us a lot in creating reports, especially for zoho desk and zoho crm.
The access to different apps that all integrate. Our company uses Zoho Inventory, Books, Shopify, and Reports. All in which we have full up to date integration between flawlessly.
There are options for payment processing, but rates are too high. We end up using Cayan and manually have to enter in transaction. The other thing is the search function is very limited. It isn't as flexible as Lightspeeds search engine for our inventory.
We always had a problem with stock integration between Amazon, our website (Shopify) and ebay. This system allows us to make sure our stock is always accurate on our ecommerce platform.
The dashboards are very helpful to our organization..
Lack of ability to report on problem, change & projects.
SLA compliance. Better ability to make data driven decisions.
There are many lightweight BI tools on the marketplace and also many heavyweights. Depending on your use cases, you might need one over the other. Zoho Reports does a good job straddling both markets -- it is a lightweight BI tool with some ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) capabilities that are useful when you need to dive into some custom, SQL reporting building.
Compared to some of the best lightweight BI tools on the marketplace it still has room to grow in the 'design' area - i.e., it doesn't look as pretty. Plus, there is no mobile phone app to date.
We deal with many nuanced data problems in school districts. Zoho Reports, when applicable, has allowed us to jump in and solve some core problems quickly.
Zoho provides a wide range of options starting from charts to pivot tables to dashboards. It has a straightforward interface that helps the user to access and visualize the data easily. It provides integration to various data sources including clouds . It also helps to perform advance statistical functions.
It takes a longer time to understand complicated and complex analytics. Understanding the same takes longer, and processing capability is laid back for me.
It solves various problems starting from data consolidation to analysis to visualization. It helps to give better insights to the data by performing advanced analytics using statistical modelling and machine learning.
Zoho Analytics provides a wide range of options including charts, graphs, pivot tables and dashboards. And the interface is simple and easy to use allows complex things to be done in a simpler way. It provides seamless integration with various data sources including spreadsheets, databases, cloud etc. Ofcourse advanced analytics like statistical modelling and machine learning
Sometimes understanding complex analytics, it takes a very long time. The learning curve to understand is much higher.. have to go step by step. The customization is very limited for visualizations. The performance of real-time data streaming and processing capability seems to the disliked feature for me personally..
It solves several problems 1/ Data consolidation and analysis.. Data visualization and reporting Advanced analytics and insights, for better and enhanced forcasting and optimze processes,, identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks Better collaboration and sharing
Easy to use, within a go can check all relevant and important data points
Can be more elaborated, deeper insights missing
Analysis made easy. Saving time
We really enjoy the intuitive nature of the user interface. Almost anyone can pick it up quickly and build data visualizations.
Sometimes the processing speeds are slow and the platform can be glitchy at times. Also, change the name! It is hard to be taken seriously with a name like "Zoho."
We have created an internal dashboard that displays client portfolio information. We have also designed a management report that we give to our clients to show them just how awesome we are.
