The platform was good for simple PWA but it seems to have gone off of the page I wanted and has now gone to the homepage of the website. Its very easy to build an app which is built on Woocommerce and Wordpress. Its Perfect for small apps and small websites and has a good quick around time for building apps.

I would say, the biggest con being limitation to platform, it has only Wordpress and Woocommerce but shopify would be best for such apps as now a days shopify has grown quite a lot and has lot of potential customers.

Its good to upsell this small things and we dont have to assign a developer for small apps like this which makes it worth it. This is ideal for smaller business.

I like that the app has evolved since it was launched. It gives me more security it is a service with permanent maintenance and always trying to improve and make the user's work easier. Linking to WordPress makes it simple to feed an app with regular content.

It's not the most intuitive application. And it may have some limitations. But I also don't know how it could be more flexible without requiring development work.

It's clunky when dealing with complex navigational needs and dealing with sign in requirements. Also lacks the ability to set alerts for users who have a personal profile on the site, such as someone tagging them or if a friend posted something, a user will not see an App Icon Badge on their home screen.

The bottom menu has been the latest challenge, clicking on certain buttons logged out the user, that bug was fixed almost two months later.

The customization of the template is practically impossible, moreover the web view on Apple devices is not very nice, as it opens a modal window for each page

Let me start here - the biggest issue people have is not having proper expectations. It's not a full custom app, it's designed to be what it is. I love how great it has been to create a quick app for out customers.

There are quite a few limitations, but again, knowings it's not custom makes it easier.

I liked the options to add WooCommerce products, plus the blog from a WordPress site.

For Brazilian users, it does not "catch up" the necessary custom fields for Correios or payments like PagSeguro. So, at least for me, it never calculated the freight.

Other than that, the build of the apps was easy and quick, with some good options for customization of colors and home screen.

The end result is clean and professional. The software is user friendly.

I have a Wordpress website and I wanted to turn it in to a mobile app. I found AppMySite and it was exactly what I needed. It was easy to use and had all the features I wanted.

My website isn't an e-commerce website and is a series of audio lessons structured in a logical progression. I found it very difficult to replicate the look and feel of my website in the app.

I was able to create my own app without any coding or additional technical knowledge. AppMySite is a cost effective option to move your Website to the next level and showcase it in the Android and Apple App Stores.

I like the simplicity of the interface & the ability for it to turn my Wordpress site into an app without having to do so much work.

I think the app displays nicely and gives you a lot of options on how to display your WordPress content and also what content you don't want to display, which is equally important.

I wish there was a way to add non-WordPress content. For example, adding a custom header (text or image) or other custom elements to give the app more customization. Sometimes the things you have on your wordpress blog aren't exactly how you want them in the app. Also, I really dislike the 'upcharge' add-ons. Many of them I feel should be included.

We are simply trying to have omnipresence and not miss out on those that like a native ios app. I know that personally, I prefer to use a native app instead of mobile browser. So far we have had minimal adoption but that is due to our lack of marketing and not due to AppMySite limitations.

It's crazy how fast you can create an app. For an online store (furniture, nutrition, etc), creating an app has never been easier. I was shocked how fast it was, and how nice it was.

Doesn't work for other sites as I had hoped. I have a few organizations that wanted one, but without selling a product this doesn't work.

I was smashed by the fact that the tool does the job by itself; you don't need programming skills to create an app! We have quite a significant amount of content on the website and would like to use it as a promotional app. I was really surprised by how simple the overall process was. 30 minutes and the app is ready for deployment! And no programmer involved :) However, this simple process also revealed the fact that we have too much very specialized content. Also, it may be feasible to rework the content before publishing it in the app store.

There are no automatic corrections... I mean, it does bring content in, but minor corrections to the appearance/UI would be appreciated. Also, with all those plugins and the added beauty of the blog, the resulting app loads quite slowly.

The major benefit is that you don't need to hire programmer or aquire programming skills to create a promotional app, and that was the major reason fro me ot get the micence. All customization steps are documented on the dashboard. The only thing you need is to complete the setup and select the pages you need to see (well, and regsiter your business with Apple, but this is totally different ball game).

Even though AppMySite provides ample options for customizations, it still cannot reach the level of customization a custom built app can achieve. Also, it is a bit pricy and not very suitable for small organizations.

It is eliminating the need to have a separate team for mobile developers to make apps for my organizations websites. Maybe in future, we might need a team after all, as the cusmization requirements are not being completely fulfilled by AppMySite

Not very helpful when it comes to payment. I overlapped a day on a subscription for a feature I no longer needed, but they just send a long "canned" email stating that they can't refund my payment. In today's day, this is unusual.

Extremely simple to plug and play. The UI of the platform allows for straightforward ease of implementation and integrating with an existing WordPress with WooCommerce website.

The ability to customize to specific needs outside of basic pricing, checkout, items, and other e-commerce store functionality is very limited. We attempted to create a blog library and user account for services and not products and had extreme difficultly in doing so. Also, every AppMySite update changed our set up and we had to adjust to meet the new updates.

AppMySite is great at providing another professional channel of exposure and buying option for customers who are already using your website to make purchases. Also, it gives another level of presence and authority for a brand to be able to show a mobile app as part of its tech stack.

Appmysite is very useful for web developers and professionals who want to have an app without spending too much and quickly.

Analytics, easy app set up. It doesn't take much time to set it up and run the configurations, eg Google fire base, Apple required certificates. With out learning code you can set it up

It's slow, doesn't have features that are visible. Example wcfm multivendor. And your customer care agents say that this feature is not part of your plan as of yet

Apparently due to the clientele that I have, it's not yet solving problems in the market where I am as competitive as it is. Because I would love to use the native version but lacks alot of feasible ux features. My site is a multivendor website. App my site has not solved that.

I've just come off support from Upload to app stores add on with app my site. I didn't like anything about the process. It felt very confusing and unsupportive from the start.

I didn't like that it was done over chat, I expected a video call or phone call. I asked if everything was set up correctly and they said they would review this for me. The chat ended abruptly with "Have a nice day! And please leave a review for us on G2" nothing about that's the app submitted, what to expect next or anything about what I had set up. Or how to know when my app is live and ready.

I like that it creates your site into an app automatically. You can also customize a splash page and the colors and links in the bars within the app.

It's not very user friendly. I still have yet to actually get the app into the app store, even with the auto publish to the app store add on. There are many steps required to get it into the app store, and after over a month of working on it I still haven't successfully finished. I think we are going to need to hire someone off of upwork to finish the job for us. They have email support which has been somewhat helpful, but they keep referring me to set up a spport call, which are only available in the middle of the night and early in the morning for east coast time.

It's more cost effective than the previous platform we were using. However, we still have not finished the setup, so I can't say its benefitting us yet.

Easy to create and app and get it just the way i like. whether your building your own layout or simply using the wordpress connection style the app is easy to use.

Have been trying to publish my app for quite some time, support just keeps telling me that im doing something wrong and to follow their guide. I have followed the guide now 4 or 5 times and it still fails. They finally tell me to jump on live chat with them during business hours. Mind you their business hours are completely opposite to ours here on the other side of the world. I would literally pay for them to do the task but that option doesnt appear to exist.
