So easy and fast to recreate your brand and website design to the app. Support is also amazing.
It would be nice to have a few more specific functionalities.
I can now sell additional services to my customers along with the websites.
Easy to integrate with the website, even a person with no tech background can do it. Also, the support team is very helpful. I uploaded my app to the play store for almost over a year still didn't face any issues.
Its more of a suggestion if you have more options for changes to the UI side of the app that might take it to next level.
Apps reach out to more audiences easily. Can set up notifications, and alerts.
AppMySite is an app builder that doesn't require any code. It's really easy to use and it's really affordable. It was really easy to use and I was able to create the app I wanted without any problems.
If you are interested in getting more functionality or features (e.g., online commerce, maps, etc.), then you may run into some challenges.
No coding required. I'm not a coder and I was able to build my app in minutes with AppMySite. it was so easy to use and the results are amazing.
There are lots of features I haven't had a chance to really play with yet, but it was super simple to go from no app to an app wrapper my website in a matter of minutes.
I'm so used to old school methods of coding and customizing every minute part of something I'm developing that this high level GUI based approach is almost a struggle for my brain to get used to. It's not a knock against AppMySite. I do sometimes wish I could tweak every little detail though. I may not have found the way just yet, I have much left to explore.
I needed a way to notify attendees of my group's events in essentially real time of delays and status changes without formalizing every event in our event framework. When we are contacted by other org's to host events for them, we don't post them publicly. In app notifications gives me that flexibility.
It is very easy to work with, giving you the ability to get on with it without having to know anything about app creation.
A little more customisation would be nice.
I've tried a variety of ways to create an app, and this has proven to be the simplest option. No hair pulling.
It's just very easy to use with a simple and understandable UI.
For an advanced checkout feature on WooCommerce sites where you need a specific feature on the checkout is not possible but for basic standard checkout it's perfect
I can offer my clients an App for their online stores at an affordable rate and get up and running quickly. Sames me a lot of time.
Sleek and intuitive, bringing the whole experience of applification of your wordpress website to your fingertips. Its very easy to use, and doesn't require any extraordinary knowledge.
More templates would definitely help the experience, and creating menu can be a bit complicated, also incorporating different plugins might become sort of a challenge
helped me to create the entire native application out of website with avoidance of costly and lenghty development of dedicated app which often is hard to integrate with web anyways
How easy it is to use, simply plug and go. Looks super professional when finished.
It was a little difficult to get connected to my site, but we got there,
Getting my course on clients phones. I can send them messages
I like the easy way to create an app with appmysite, it's very easy
the most I dislike is that there ins't a native integration with prestashop
appmysite solve my problem with time spending to develop app
Helped me transform an ecommerce website into an app!
Nothing really, the app is super easy but I think it's sometimes hard to get a good app with a slow website but that's not the problem of App My Site
Now a small business can get a good app at a very, very affordable price, that's amazing.
The best thing about this platform is that it does exactly what it says it'll do: it takes your website and turns it into an app. I've tried to get this done through a developer and got nowhere in three months.
Technical support can be hit or miss. Some questions get answered immediately, and others seem to take a while. I, personally, would like to see better chat support.
We needed to make our audio dictation site available as an app to encourage students to utilize it more, and it really worked out! Our business hasn't increased because of it, but student improvement has.
I personally like the drag and drop aspect of it all. I have little to no technical experience, but i really wanted to try and have an app based on my website without spending thousands!
Due to my limited technical know how, I havent found anything to dislike. I dont have any really big websites, but its more for my blogs and my church.
It is solving the problem of not having an app. I like the idea of not having to use safari to view my blogs, I can have it instantly.
I like the simplicity of the platform to convert initially Wordpress websites, but ultimately basically ANY website to mobile app with unique features and fully compatible with Android and iOS. The support is great as well. When I need any clarification they are always there to help me.
I don't have any particular issues BUT I wish it can become (soon) an alternative to Mobiroller, which allows me to create mobile apps from scratch and not just converting existing websites into apps. this would change everything and it will let AppMySite become an incredible tool. Also I would like to have whitelabel/Agency options to create Apps (and manage them from the dashboard) for clients.
It is letting the process of creating apps for businesses and online e-commerce stores become MORE eary and effective. in fact, building an App from scratch (even if based on an existing website) is expensive. and solving any issues later would be a nightmare for non-coders, In fact, this tool is primarily a No-code app creator so it is a must have for any business owner that wants to be present on Play Store and Apple App Store.
AppMySite lets non-web and app developers build and launch their very own fully featured iOS and Android application with ease. Why spend tens of thousands paying an expensive design agency to build your mobile application when you can leverage the user-friendly and extremely cost-effective features that come with AppMySite? All you need is an existing WordPress, Woocomerce or even a Shopify website, and you and have your new mobile application live, even without coding skills, within a few days or even hours,. As I said, AppMySite does exactly what it says on the tin, with no ifs or buts, I am so glad I made the purchase, and I tell all my designer colleagues and friends to do so too.
To be fair, not a lot. Perhaps the UI could be slicker, or the new user account onboarding could be more robust, but if that's all I can find to complain about AppMySite then I shouldn't complain at all.
Since I purchased a lifetime deal with AppMySite, I've been able to offer my web design client a fully-features mobile application along with their usual Worpdress website. This makes me look like a mobile app expert and save the client thousands of pound and a great deal of time in launching their dedicated mobile application, so it's a win all around.
It was simple and users friendly. I was able to setup and publish in minutes.
N/A. It's seem AppMySite is new, I don't have any dislike so far.
I think they are doing well. I see they're still working on some features for the platform.
The best feature is the ability to create your own app without hiring a third party. If you are a WordPress user, this is the easiest and most economical tool for turning your site into an app. With a little patience and some tech-savviness, it can save you thousands of dollars.
"Easiest" is a relative term. Creating the app from your site using AppMySite is challenging but certainly doable. The documentation is good and the tech support team is responsive. If you've ever tried to use a new software tool without decent support, you know how painful it can be. I was pleased with the support I received during the app creation process. The most frustrating step is uploading the app to the Apple App Store. Publishing the app on Google Play is significantly easier and much less expensive. I'm still fighting with the Apple upload. What you don't find out until after you've committed (both emotionally and financially) is that you need a Mac to publish the app in the App Store. If you don't have access to a Mac, you may want to pay someone to do the publishing for you.
Creating an app for my NFP will hopefully make it easier for our constituents to find us and ultimately keep us top of mind. I won't realize the benefits until I can get the app published on the App Store.
App my site is easy to use and can get your website into an app quickly. The finished product is intuative and easy to use
Although app my site provides substantial customisation the main page layout is limited, great for most sites.
Getting customers sites to an easy to use fast mobile app in a small budget quickly was not something we would have proposed before app my site
The ease of converting the existing site to a mobile app using the software.
Not much, just need more customization options.
No problems, the benefits are that you are able to quickly convert
This is good app to build mobile apps quickly and efficiently
This is used to develop mobile apps for those without coding knowledge and therefore is not as powerful as those apps which are custom coded. I would not recommend to use if you want very detailed control or your app is very complicated.
This is good app to build mobile apps if you don't know coding. You can use it as customer support channel, or social media channel. I am developing an ecommerce shop with it. It has nice features like smart cart, dynamic checkout and coupons.
The tool is easily usable and applies to the most widely used site building tool in the world
Some things needs more development to be more customizable
We can quickly transform a Wordpress site into a mobile application. This allows us to surf the wave of transformation instead of reconstruction
What I like about Appmysite is its ease of use and its simplicity for me to create an app.
What I don't like about Appmysite is the inability to create more sophisticated apps.
The problem Appmysite helps me solve is the ability to create an app without a developer.
AppMySite makes it super simple to turn your website into an app.
Currently only works with WordPress sites, but support for other platforms is in the roadmap.
I can easily offer my website clients an upsell opportunity with AppMySite.
Ease of Use, they will work with you and provide service you require within their scope.
There is nothing I dislike - looking forward to other improvements to the product that they can make..
Getting a new app to IOS and Android app stores sooner
That I can make an easy by pulling from my WordPress website - this ensures my branding and content are consistent.
The templates are really great and useful- although I wish they could expand to have more templates for other use cases.
Helps me attract more customers by giving them educational content in an easier-to-consume way. This makes me more focused on the content I need to produce so my time is not wasted.
It's allowed us to offer a mobile app without having to pay thousands to a developer to have it done. It's reliable and the company has consistently made it more robust and more user friendly.
Initially there was a huge learning curve that made it extremely difficult to actually submit the app to the Apple App Store. There was not sufficient documentation to guide through the process and it required many hours of frustrating, fruitless fighting with the tech curveballs. They now offer a service to take care of the submission but it does cost.
We offer a daily service that has been previously attempted through text services and through social media messaging, both ran into critical issues that made them poor options. AMS has allowed us to offer the service with absolutely non of the issues previously ran into.
Easy to use and intuitive enough for a beginner to use. Some of the tech may get in your way however they may it simple enough to follow along for anyone that is tech savvy.
The system needs to be more centric around making it easy to get to the right place with the UI to operate however once you learn where things are its ok.
Deploying apps that have the capability to integrate with Wordpress.
the easiness of the app to turn my website into a full-fledged mobile app.. it was so easy to use and you don't need to worry about hiring an outside developer to get basic info out there!
I wish it had the ability to be styled a bit more. I am a graphic designer by trade so I like my things to reflect the work I put out there. The "theme" used is fairly basic, adding some custom Styles/CSS would be nice to have.
My website already is fairly mobile friendly, but I like that this becomes an app through the App Store/Google Play - that gives me the ability to add more functionality like alerts and whatnot.
The simplicity was surprising for me. Didn't take a lot of effort to set up and configure. I didn't get a chance to push anything to the AppStores but the framework to do so is super simple. I do love the branding of it and how simple it was for me to get started. I am very excited to publish some apps I made for clients as the white-labeled feature is perfect. I also love the support team. They are quick to help and looking at how they interact on different forums, they really care about the product and the users there. I'm happy that AppMySite is available to me -- I've played with a variety of different tools that do this, and this is definitely in my top five.
There be a few things I would like the app to be able to do - like drive more awareness around a new post or announcement (it may do that honestly, I just couldn't figure out that part). I also want to get some of the custom things I have in my WordPress site to be part of the app. again, I could just not be fully understanding something and missing the obvious. I honestly just need to tinker more and get something amazing built out.
I wanted to experiment with making apps for websites I manage to give people an extra benefit. I really love that it can do WhiteLabel as well to make my service offering a lot cleaner. I think there is a lot of unknown benefits to make my processes even better.
When a client have a Wordpress site, it allows my agency to simply ask if they'd like to make it an app too? And just like that we can charge a fee for that service, and no one has to know how simple it is, and Appmysite is doing all the heavy lifting in the background.
Complicated designs, fancy features or plugins might not work properly with this tool, the fancy stuff will still appear on the web, but the app will not show that. Guess we can'thave everything
Building an app for client that also use WP as their CMS.
It is very easy to create an APP without writing a single line of code and send it to Apple AppStore and Android Playstore. They even can assist you in the process of uploading and approval. When you change any content on your website it is automatically synced to your app, just magical.
Sometimes we are unable to personalize the final result as much as we want, but the result is almost perfect and very decent for the amount of time you must spend to create the APP compared to doing it the "old way".
Creating an APP in a fraction of the time we should need to do it manually, collecting payments from customers in-app and sending push notifications to the users in an easy way.
