Great to have all the hr material I need in one spot on bamboo. Employee handbook, Pto requests, pay stubs, etc. Has worked excellently since my job moved us over.

I wish that my employer would fully utilize the features on Bamboo.

Org chart easy access, and employee handbook access

BambooHR has a very friendly user interface whether you are using the website or the mobile app. Having the ability to track where employees clock in/clock out on mobile is a nice feature as well.

I wish the time off feature would let you choose time frames within the day for your time off vs just a number of hours that day.

A consistant on-boarding process and a company wide way to easily communicate timeoff.

Bamboo provides a single organized location for me to access all my work-related important information, providing simple navigation and ease of implementation.

The downside of Bamboo is I don't have it in a personal/life application outside of work:)

Bamboo has solved the problem of our organizational documents, HR info, and pay stubs all being provided on one usable platform that also provides security of confidential information.

Hiring! It's so amazing, recruitment is a breeze with it. And data tracking. eNPS.

I love that our employees now have access to information without ever having to email or call someone. It saves both them and I time. Our employees express their happiness with BambooHR continously because they can go to one spot to see their paystubs, PTO balances, benefit enrollments, and more. Before BambooHR we were a spreadsheet driven company. Now we have everything at our fingertips. The reporting functions are also amazing.

The only downside I have seen is the challenge with people who do not like to use technology.

I am no longer tracking HR data on spreadsheets and I am using it for Payroll.

The things I like the best about BambooHR is the easy of use, org chart, hiring tab, reports, surveys (satisfaction & wellbeing) and the customer support is truly incredible.

I wish that you could make custom reports with graphs, charts, etc.

It is helping us with onboarding, training, employee tracking, candidate tracking, vacation time, surveys, reporting, and much more.

As a non-HR team member using BambooHR, I've found it to be a game-changer in simplifying various aspects of my work life. I use it multiple times per week. This platform has made it easier for me to navigate through HR processes, saving time and offering a more enjoyable experience overall. I like the task management features as well.

Customization and tailoring of performance review questions not available. I wish this aspect of the system was a little more dynamic and adaptable to our organization's needs.

Bamboo is so user friendly - it's easy for employees to update their information and find everything they need. Reporting is simple

The only downside is that as a web app, I have to log in multiple times per day. I know it's a security feature, but I would like the option to stay logged in for the day.

BambooHR allows me to keep all employee information in 1 place and not worry about double data entry or info being udpated incorrectly.

It has a lot of pre built templates for different areas of HR and can also be customised. You can send emails/documents directly from BambooHR. Amazing! I have never experienced hiring and onboarding so easy before now. The PTO administration is superb.

Nothing so far. I love it. But can we have one app for everything? Instead of having a different App for Hiring etc.

BamboHR is primarily helping me maintain my core HR data and personnel documents. It also helps me through the hiring and on boarding process for new employees.

The ease to set up for a global company with subsidiaries in over 20 countries

There are some features that are not applicable to our group as it is currently set up, but with their constant updates, I'm sure we will get the full functionality we need soon enough.

It is helping us centralize our HR information to give us a better understanding of our global company.

The reporting is great, whenever I need to compile information I can be certain it will not take long. Bamboo ATS has completely changed our recruitment model. We are much more efficient and effective as a result. It has saved us time and money.

Tracking of learning. The solution could be better.

Efficient recuritment tool, we are a small company (under 150) so we never thought that the cost of an ATS, versus the amount of recruitment that goes on would allow for a cost effective solution. We have found that it has worked and has reduced the cost of hiring overall. Reporting is efficient and accurate.

I personally like the onboarding options in BambooHR. It's very easy to navigate through, include any documents needed and attachments are added very easily. I use BambooHR everyday for my job, and have not had any issues where I've needed to contact customer support, which is a good thing! Customer service for others in my department, has been very easy as well.

What I do not like is the fact that I cannot upload any videos to share with staff for training and/or "how-to" videos to help navigate through what needs to be done on their end.

BambooHR has a great interface and is easy to use for a small to medium-sized company that needs a simple HRIS. BambooHR has many features, from onboarding/offboarding, to performance management, to payroll - it definitely has a wide range of features for any company to choose from based on their needs. Their customer service team has always been helpful and responsive to my needs.

BambooHR was straightforward to get set up and the functionality has been easy to understand and train our team.

We have been using BambooHR for about 6 months and have not had any issues or regrets with our decision.

BambooHR makes managing the onboarding process much simpler for the company and the candidate experience is an upgrade from our previous system.

I like creating reports. Can export to excel and youve got a ready made matrix. Dont need to plug in any numbers yourself!

Im sure because it is HR based, some of the features I would like it to have are not feasible. However, it is stioll a valuable tool for H&S, I use it every day.

Tracking certifications, allowing for task completion to be tracked. I like how easily it works with google forms, I can input all of my competency tests into it and have the results kept in Bamboo

It is super easy and intuitive to use and in my experience I get 100% adoption by users after implementing the platform. I have implemented this platform with 5 organizations.

It has limitations in use but the continued enhancements and APIs with other HR software makes this not a major issue.

The ability to do more with less resources. In HR you typically run thin in most organizations but expected to do everything. This platform makes it possible.

BambooHR is very easy to implement and use. Their customer support is great and always very helpful. They have multiple features and we use most of them. It's nice to have everything in one spot.

We have been using BambooHR for 5 years and have no plans to leave, however, additional customization on features like performance management and approval workflows would be nice. Also, Canadian Payroll and Benefits would be great additions.

BambooHR provides us with a central location for nearly all of our HR-related items.

BambooHR is a great user experience from the employer and employee perspective. It is seemlesss and simplistic to use and visually very easy to navigate. There are a ton of customizations for PTO policies and the ability to save and send documents/templates is very handy. Also the hiring component is probably the best I've used in terms of how it's all organized, the ability to collaborate with hiring managers, and saving candidate information.

No complaints. If I had to name anything, maybe having a time keeping feature that integrates with ADP or better reporting around it.

Making hiring easier.

The company organizational chart is a great tool. For an international company, it allows our employees to easily navigate our company structure and connect with others. It's very user friendly for administrators and employees.

Right now, we are using ADP and Bamboo. We are hoping to use an integration tool in the near future because double entry is time consuming.

Tracking short and long term goals for employees, recruitment for internal and external candidates, and employee profiles

It is simple to use and easy to access! I can login from anywhere with the help of BambooHR's integration with Okta, our identity provider. It is intuitive to navigate once logged into the BambooHR platform. You can request time-off days, edit your info, see upcoming co-worker birthdays and work anniversaries, pay info and other important documents such as tax-related.

The platform is somewhat basic but honestly I like that it is simple and doesn't feel overcomplicated. The User Interface is well thought through. So I don't really have any complaints or pain points that I can think of during my 5 years of experience using BambooHR so far.

Bamboo currently serves as a repository for all of our employees to check regularly and as needed for their pay info, tax documents, co-worker birthdays & work anniversaries. It is the source of truth for important information that HR and employees need to access.

Improving our reporting functionality

The user interface is extremely clean. It provides a tabular view of choosing Timesheet, Organizational Hierarchy, Employee Information, Leaves and Company Policies. The learning curve is extremely simple and anybody with a hands-on experience with any website can get started with BambooHR without requiring any assistance. BambooHR can also be integrated with existing Microsoft applications like Teams and Outlook and that makes the experience incredibly holistic. I use it daily to fill out my Timesheet and check my leaves etc. It is extremely easy to use and doesn't require any training to get it implemented.

Nothing as such, the UI is pretty robust and clean and it doesn't come up with any shortcomings.

We have been using BambooHR since 2018 (implementation was fairly easy) and it has been such a time-saver (moved from ancient paper personnel files). It's exceptionally user-friendly for both the administrator and the end-user. Submitting time-off requests, setting up documents for signature, recruitment, the entire employee life-cycle process is fairly seamless. The customer support team has been exceptional, and while there are a few things we would like to see improved, it's clear over the years that their development road-mapping has been constant and the platform continues to improve adding value to the customer experience. Full disclosure that we have not integrated the payroll and BenAdmin modules (yet).

Many of the standard and custom reports do not allow the ability to set date ranges which creates a lot of time and effort. The only way to get the required info is download reports in Excel and then manipulate the statistical data needed for required state, federal, and industry-standard reports. This is especially time-consuming a look-back over several years is required. The Time Tracking module still has some gaps - specifically there isn't an option for splitting entries for two different pay grades, so we have to run a separate spreadsheet to track hours and then get a blended hourly rate. Additionally, there isn't an option to approve the timesheet earlier than regularly scheduled. This is a problem when managers are on holiday and aren't available to sign-off in time to process payroll. Adding a FMLA and CFRA tracking system would be helpful and hope that's built into Bamboo's roadmap.

The HR office is 100% paperless and legal compliance for obtaining signatures for state, federal, and payroll documentation has become a non-issue. It has dramatically reduced the time and stress of managing and tracking onboarding and offboarding.

I have all the information and data that I need within a matter of minutes, all in one place

When onboarding new hires, I often have to go and remind employees to fill out their Taxes, and Direct Deposit information. It would be helpful if they were required to do this step. Maybe their is a way and I just haven't figured that out yet.

Reporting - Generating new reports is allowing my staff work time to reduce by 50% so they can foucs on other important task.

Payroll and Performance Management. Employee user experience is great as well.

I can't say enough great things about BambooHR. I have used the system for many years and it is the #1 system I recommend to all my HR clients. Their customer support has been amazing, the implementation is super easy, and the features it offers are just what my small to medium sized clients need. It also integrates easily with other systems my clients may be using. I have many clients that currently use it and I am in the system on a daily basis - just so easy and fun to use. Again - just love the system and the company in general.

There really isn't anything I dislike about the system. I feel like it meets the needs of the clients I work with in my HR Consulting business.

When I first start working with a client, I will do an HR audit to see what their current state is. The majority of the time the biggest issue is compliance in the state of California. BambooHR really helps a company get compliant as well as streamline the process for small companies that have a person that wears the HR hat along with many others. It really solves the problem of outdated work processes.
