Can easily request time off because of the easy-to-use user interface (intuitive).
Would be better if it could show me how many days I am allowed to take off for my company (not just how many days I have already taken off).
Taking time off of work for various reasons (vacation, sick leave, wellbeing leave, floating holidays, etc).
Easy to navigate and everything is laid out nicely
Lack of accessibility to information about benefits etc
easily submitting PTO making it EASY TO KEEP TRACK OF
I like best the Look and feel, and it is fun
I dislike that it Lacks an interface with QBO
Applicant can sign up online
The interface. The design is pleasing to look at
I'm not trained in HR and when the companies office manager left right before Covid they didn't hire a new one, I had no idea what was needed to go into BambooHR and didn't have any support. Not necessarily BambooHRs fault. When our company switched to EASE our insurance broker provided it as a service so they do a lot of the work and hand holding.
It seems like it's has the potential to manage most of the HR information in one place and do that electronically, which is really handy. Vs having to keep hard copies and get wet signatures.
The accessibility and ease of the application.
Account-holders pay is definitely not concealed. lol
Keeping track of time off, time available, and other coworkers times out of the office
The ease with which you can collate the candidates and send mass emails.
No downsides as such. With a lot of data, it can get slow at times with generating reports.
Reaching out to candidates becomes easy.
HR-Specific talent acquisition portals proved helpful. The virtual HR event provided ample opportunities to discover helpful tips on people management and assisted in connecting users to the platform.
I am not sure what specific areas need improvement, but consider the areas of visualization and marketing to avoid oversaturation of communication (too many emails).
I do not have specific problems that we solved with BambooHR. However, the connections to HR-specific talent acquisition seem an excellent opportunity to acquire the best employees.
the ease of reviewing resumes and writing notes in parallel
its not very user friendly and very basic
trying to improve communication with candidates and also easing up the ATS work
It's very user friendly and is very responsive
You can't directly tag someone when commenting so it's hard to catch hiring managers attention
Good place to store applicants
Bamboo integrates nicely with Greenhouse and other Applicant Tracking Systems to remove a lot of secondary data entry.
It doesn't have a capable Applicant Tracking portion of the software. If it did, it would be a better overall solution.
Bamboo is a really solid HR system and it allowed for much better organization than previous systems.
I like that BambooHR keeps employees connected by sharing their birthdays, anniversaries, new hires, and other events.
I don't have any dislikes or problems with it
Learning about coworkers and keeping connected
I like staying connected with coworkers by keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries, and new hires. It's a good reference for any employee info.
I don't use this site for anything else so I'm not sure what the point of it is. Everything else HR related I use Paycom for.
It's helpful to see my coworkers birthdays and milestones as a way to keep in touch. It's a good reference point for any company announcements or events.
Easy way to see who is working and who is off that day. Nice to see work anniversaries. Good way to track promotions and pay raises. Simple to use and easy UI. PTO calculator is helpful. Good for signing documents.
not to much functionality. The way you assign tasks doesn't allow for a lot of detail or accountability. Would like to see performance review and expenses section flushed out better. Don't like the way you have to submit expenses.
Need for a way to expense items and track PTO. Having a way to sign documents and then easily store them. Easy way for me to see an org chart and all the employees who report to me.
Bamboo Hr Softwer is Easly collects and organizes all the information you gather throughout the employee life cycle, and it is used to mainly important asset of Employees. They are using secure database, with powerful.
Bamboo Hr Softwer demo Period is less and Pricing is very high to the Startup Level Companies.
The Bamboo Hr Softwer is loading time is very high, if you have slow internet Connection means it is broked.
Thorough coverage of the basics with an impressive design. Bare-bones performance module is similar to that of other companies that run employee reviews. Easy to set up. Open API enables simply integrations with human resources tech vendortad more expensive than several competitors. Benefits administration functionality not as strong as its biggest rivals. Well-designed website but it lacks some functions.
tad more expensive than several competitors. Benefits administration functionality not as strong as its biggest rivals. Well-designed website but it lacks some functions.
BambooHR may be slightly more expensive than some of its competition, but the combination of a deep feature set and a friendly user interface more than offsets that problem, earning it our Editors' Choice award.
Lots of things to love with this software. It comes with employee data out-of-the-box. Reporting is nice. Comes with flexible Time Off Policies. The Access Levels adds a nice a twist to the typical User and Group management. Benefits management is fantastic. Great onboarding processes.
I find their Time Off Policies to be flexible. Thing is, it involves a bit of learning curve. There's not enough to learn during the implementation process. Certain fiels are way too linked to the U.S. When you've got offices in different parts of the globe, you don't need something like this. This isn't professional version. Thankfully, you can hide fields that you don't want easily.
Vacation and time off management made things easy especially with different laws and countries that you'd have to deal with. I like their employee data management. Great onboard and offboarding activities as well.
A centralized location to access information about colleagues. The feature to request and track vacations
It really does not have enough features to be its own tool. Should be integrated with other tools.
Centralizing employee information. Tracking vacation.
It is easy to store personal info, and easy to find it
It is confusing team wise / it took some time to update info as well
Personel performance, vacation and time off, all in one place
I love how organized the software is. Everything is broken down into sections
It is a litter confusing for employees to grt the hang of at first.
We are able to keep better track of employees requests
I like that it is a fairly clean design. It looks modern.
I don't like that it's difficult to request time off. You have to use the button under your profile instead of the more obvious "Request time off" portion.
It's nice keeping things organized in one place like birthdays, when employees are out, and other events.
It's easy to request time off and view how many vacation/sick hours you have.
It can be hard to navigate, if you're new to the platform.
Tracks which employees are on vacation
I like the look of bamboo. I found it very easy to use.
I did not like how you could see who took time off.
no business problems that i know of
I like that I can see and review all HR related requests that i have put in to my manager, that it shows my available PTO, and we can record and review our employee assessments.
The system is a little wonky in terms of calculating accured/prorated PTO time and our doesn't provide a "reminder" option when a request for time off has gone overlooked.
benefits from an employee perspective are that we can import the time off and work from home calendars from bamboo hr into Google Calendars for all employee to see
It's easy to navigate, very easy to train both HR & employees to use.
It is limited in its abilities and doesn't allow for many integrations.
It's been great for employees to better understand org charts, as well as a seamless onboarding for new hires.
Sure bits Excel when it comes to hris , mature
No customisation abilities; every new field needs to be set up by support; the performance part is awaful
Not using excel
We use it to plug in vacations and it’s an easy interface
Manager engagement isn’t too high so vacations take a long time to get approved
Managing vacation time
I like being able to see who is at the office and who is out
That the system updated the API without adequate testing, causing all users to be locked out of accounts for 2 hours
Solving-a one stop for viewing and updating personal information including pay info
Tool is quite intuitive & user friendly.
The ability to customize. One of the biggest thing missing is strong Performance Management process. Its not very user friendly and doesn't serve the purpose.
Bringing all employee lifecycle under one tool
It's a friendly and easy-to-use dashboard.
The org chart is awful and difficult to navigate. The dragging thing does not work at all. BambooHR isn't equipped to deal with any rapidly growing companies, and employees still have to be added manually. It's exhausting.
It serves as a very basic HRIS for us. User-friendly.
BambooHR is pretty. The way things are set up is logical and seems as if it's easy to use.
A couple things: We were promised that BambooHR would have it's own E-Signature capabilities by the end of May. This program has yet to roll out and it's the primary reason our company chose Bamboo to begin with. We have signed up with another company that has compatibility with Bamboo, but it would be really nice to cut out the middle-man and not have to use two different sites when trying to do something so simple. Especially since this is one of the MAIN REASONS we signed with Bamboo. So right now it's just working as a storage site for us until we can get access to that e-Signature capability. Another thing is that we have not yet rolled this out to our employees/contractors because it's not at the place where we need it to be. I am keeping up records on there for the company, and recently learned that the supervisors in remote offices are getting BambooHR emails when I thought all of the permissions for them were turned off. That was a little bit confusing to me. The third thing is that you can't change the names of the tabs at the top to reflect your own business. So Bamboo is showing everyone as "Employees" when our company deals primarily with Contractors. It would be really great if someone could write a simple code to change that accessibility and make it more useable. I wish we had known this before signing on with Bamboo.
We are trying to make it easier to access our contracts and employee information and to have it all in one place. The look of it is nice, but it's not actually as easy to use nor is it as "customizable" as people were telling us.
