An important feature for us is ease of access for our employees and BambooHR achieves that easily.

It is very user-friendly. We can customize features that work for our organization and structure. Bamboo is regularly making updates to provide a robust HRIS for its clients.

Not being able to track who has received Company Announcements and whether it has been read. Would also like for our training records from our LMS (which is a partner of Bamboo) to update our employee records.

Able to have customizable reporting across multiple entities, offices and locations. Gives us more visibility to our employees.

I initially wanted the software for tracking time off. It's fantastic for that - allows employees to request time off on the mobile app, you get alerts for who is out for the day, and you can view a time off calendar for the whole month. Beyond that, BambooHR is perfect for keeping employee records organized, no need for paper files, and data is available at a quick glance. You can run reports quickly for just about anything you would need to know. BambooHR has excellent customer service as well. I like the chat feature which typically gets me the answer I need immediately.

I haven't found anything I dislike. They are constantly making improvements and I look forward to seeing what new things are coming. They recently improved the document storage section and it's easier to use.

I love that all the employee information is available at a glance. I can quickly pull up an employee to verify employment, check their pay rate, change their address, etc. I can run a report to see everyone's pay rate and the last time they received a raise. I can see who is enrolled in benefits and what they selected. These are just a few examples of how I use BambooHR. Much better than searching thru paper files.

BambooHR has created the best HR platform on the market. Favorite features include the ability to onboard/offboard employees using a lot of different workflows and options. We also love the ability to keep track of employee information, including documents that require signatures. BambooHR allows you to turn any document into a signature template with custom fields, signature order, and other options. BambooHR Payroll offers an easy way to administer payroll and sync it with the information stored in the portal. There are many more features that we use, including performance management, time tracking, applicant tracking, etc. Our team loves it because they can log in and view their pay stubs and other relevant information.

The performance module can be made better by accomodating non-calendar year review cycles. They did recently release ad hoc reviews, but it would be helpful to be able to set our schedule based on the hire date anniversary.

Keeping track of all employee information and signed documents, administering payroll with ease, and giving employees access to their data, as well as relevant company information.

It is very intuitive to use and any confusion is typically cleared by learning modules or live chat. Plus, they are constantly updating features and coming out with new things that show they are committed to serving their users.

It seems BambooHR targets office environments based on the language used. We are in the trades industry and we use the software to track our field crews' production. The features are limited and expansion to update remaining hours on projects would be great to have.

BambooHR has become the hub for all things recruitment by putting the entire workflow: job postings, applicant management, hiring, onboarding all into a single system.

The ability to have employees signed required documents via Bamboo. It's also great that I can "remind" an employee to sign a document and it saves it directly to their profile.

We sometimes run into issues with people not being able to see the reports they need by their access level. It would be nice if you can share any report with an employee regardless of their access level.

Hiring has been so much more streamlined in BambooHR. Its great how we can all collaborate on a candidate, see each other's notes, add notes, and even send the offer directly from there.

I have been working with BambooHR for 6+ years. We have a company of about 120+ employees that use it regularly. There is not a better more user-friendly HRIS on the market. All employees use it with ease, it has great features as add-ons for more use, incredibly customizable reporting, and always available customer service team that can help you through any questions or issues that come up.

Like all systems, they have hiccups or issues that pop up, but BambooHR customer service has helped me through every single one of these, and explained how it happened.

PTO tracking has been the greatest benefit for our company. We were able to change our policies quickly and efficiently with this system, with employees always being aware of how much time off they have. Reporting is excellent, I have been able to show significant decreases in my turnover rates with a simple click of a button. I have also moved the performance system and can show increases in employee engagement, employee peer to peer reviews, and goal settings.

The tool help to create a single lifecycle for an employee weather you are hiring, onboarding, making comparative team and individual analysis. It helps provide insight on some of your important assets and ensure advanced analytics of all employees. The user interface is very flexible and can be modified as per user’s requirement.

The management system is only limited to SMEs as you are unable to assign multiple roles for managers. It also lacks in Board of governors as some company’s owners are not in the board. There are also some limitations on the front end as some features cannot be modified as per requirement.

Once a business has grown to a specific limit, maintaining excel sheets becomes very hectic to get rid of all the sheets BambooHR was one of the best options out there. The tools help keep management well informed so that they have all the key details about all the employees at all times. Payroll integrative makes the tool very reliable for financial portfolios.

A well-planned implementation process forced us to get up and running quickly. The effort was well worth the time as it ensured we get the most value from BambooHR as soon as possible.

The speed of the implementation made us miss a few details that we have had to inquire about afterwards. But the support team has been most helpful and some of the extra data fields we wanted were not a problem at all to get in place.

We needed one portal for all employee data, with good access level handling. This would enable us to give more transparency and responsibility to managers. Also, we needed a recruitment and onboarding system that would allow us to streamline our hiring process across our regions. Across the board our employees and managers are very happy with BambooHR, as it gives them insight into Time Off, assets, benefits, compensation history, and performance reviews (once we get this kicked off properly). On a corporate level we have one place to get reports and review data about our workforce when needed.

We were capable of modifying the variables during installation to reflect our corporate requirements. The new joiner package that is given out to new recruits to complete out all of their fresh joiner documentation with a greeting letter is excellent; it makes launching so easy, as are the initiation activities that can be allocated to multiple supervisors and crossed off when completed. With Bamboo HR, controlling the induction program is straightforward, entertaining, and interesting.

The yearly leave functionality - the balance displayed does not reflect for perennial absence that's been scheduled but had not been used, which can render one’s leftover balance number a bit perplexing.

A location to record productivity and development logs - this makes all of this data available to personnel, supervisors, and Human resources. It has simplified the implementation of the production management procedure. This was formerly saved in spreadsheets and word docs, which was significantly more cumbersome.

We have posted all of our rules and manuals to BambooHR such that our workers know wherever to locate them. Employees may keep track of and maintain their personal professional development data, which add to their continuing education and accreditations. Managers can access the relevant data for their presentations. All of this is controlled through a single, smooth, secure, and user-friendly interface!

Poor judgments made during the recruitment process might be hard to handle afterward. Tables make things easier since they allow for massive exportation and data importation, but understanding is essential for successful application.

Excellent human resources software. It is used for scheduling time off, bonuses, other papers, and training programs. We have used Bamboo HR to look at possible recruits and to exchange and assess resumes. The corporate directories and info portals are particularly useful when I need to contact a co-worker directly, as all of their contact information is provided in this tool.

Easy to use, great reporting, automated HR process, hiring tool that encourages collaboration and performance tool that has impact.

I'd love to have more possibilities with performance as the company needs evolve in time.

So far, the best feature is the app you can download on your phone; it is entirely functional, just like the website. You can clock in and out (and it geotags, so no cheating), request days off, see paystubs, etc.

So far, the only downside I've seen with switching to BambooHR is that our paystubs are not available until the day of pay (whereas before, they were available two days before with the other program we used).

Everything is in one place, easy to navigate, all at your fingertips (whether the app or desktop version). The corporate office can send out mass updates that you can log in to see and go back to reference if ever needed.

BambooHR has been the perfect tool to use for logging an employees vacation and sick time, benefits, personal documenty, and training material. We also utilize Bamboo HR to view potential hires, share resumes, and facilitate new documents. It makes everyone's info readily available.

The biggest issue has been that we haven't been able to properly set multiple managers over employees. It seems to default to the owner and that's not always what we want it to do. It is lengthy to learn every step it takes to make sure the software is full utilized. Wish the was of use was a little more smooth.

The major problem we had before BambooHR was streamlining our HR process. Since getting the software, we have been able to have everything in one place. I also like the fact I can get everything right from my phone if I need to.

Extremely easy to navigate; I love the fact I can calculate future time off.

Nothing to dislike yet; I have been using it for over a year, and it has never given me a hard time!

Nothing at the moment, I wish it had more other features like posting updates about organization or something like a live wall kind of , where everyone can share something or the other

Employees are easily able to apply for leaves using the tool. Other employees have great visibility of co-workers availability, we longer need to write long emails for leave request anymore!

Easy to use and enter in employee information. Staff can see all of theirs bendits in the palm of the their hand. They can use mobile, laptop, or tablet to request time off!

There isn't anything that I don't like from Bamboo HR so far. Maybe the mobile app could have more information like the desktop site. Managers could do more with this option.

We don't have an official he person. Anyone can enter everyone's information an serve as an hr data asssistan. I always know when staff will be off by just looking at the calendar!

BambooHR has become our one-stop-shop for all things Human Resources. We were able to consolidate paper files, spreadsheets, and PDF forms into a single web-based repository for all of our employee information, PTO tracking, and policy and benefits documents.

There isn't much to dislike about this product. We've been using it for years, and have been happy with the additional features and functionality that has been included since we first started. Perhaps the only thing I would wish for is more integrated time tracking features. It does integrate with third-party systems, but if there would be a physical time clock integration directly with BambooHR, that would be awesome.

Since implementing BambooHR, we have been able to keep better track of employee personal biographical data, PTO, certification and CEU credits, and benefits information. Our employees know where to go for any HR-related data, rather than having to search different file shares, or seek out the correct staff person to answer their questions. We have all of our policies and handbooks uploaded to BambooHR so our employees know where to find that information. Employees can record and manage their own professional development records that contribute to their ongoing education and certifications. Managers are able to see the appropriate data for their reports. All this is managed through one seamless, secure, intuitive interface!

BambooHR has allowed us to streamline our process for hiring and onboarding new employees and has enabled us to stop using spreadsheets to store employee data.

I wish their training module was more robust to support training for all employees. It's pretty limited in its capabilities and only for new employees really.

We are solving the problem of taking interview notes in various documents, keeping spreadsheets of possible candidates for future hire, and eliminating a host of spreadsheets that we used to store employee data. I use to have various spreadsheets to house asset allocations, salary information, benefits data, employee contract information, etc. Now everything is cleanly and securely in Bamboo HR where I can allow access to the appropriate people, including our external payroll accountant.

The interface is very welcoming and easy to use. Requesting time off and seeing which coworkers have time off is very simple. It's also nice to see fun tidbits such as when it's your teammate's birthday or work anniversary, for instance.

I haven't had a single issue with Bamboo since I started using it over two years ago.

We use BambooHR to keep employees updated on new hires, request time off, and see when our coworkers are off for scheduling reasons.

I like that it's quite intuitive and easy to use. It does not have a learning curve when figuring it out. You'll also know who is out on a particular day and what the celebration is.

The fact that it does not integrate with the humanity app. It is quite tedious for leads to plot the employees who are out on humanity when you can easily see it on bamboo HR. Integration would be nice. If bamboo HR will have an option for shifting, that would be nice too.

You can easily know why the person is out by looking at bamboo HR. You also see the documents that are associated with that employee. Any contracts made in agreement with the company.

BambooHR developers have done a great job, it is very intuitive and what I like the most is that is is vwry trendy and informal. You feel like you have a friend or a colleague who is helping you to accomplish daily tasks.

I love that you can personalize it to match your business.. like a blank canvas, you start building. There are so many opportunities to integrate it with other business systems as well.

Dislike, very few things. When you send something for signature, you cannot revoke it, it must be signed by both parties and then deleted or else it sits as incomplete.

We use BambooHR for all Employee Resources such as manuals, benefit handbooks, reminders for renewal of benefits. Asset tracking has made a considerable impact. We do more things virtually rather than printed now, and it has helped to keep our department more organized with annual/monthly reminders. ALSO we take full advantage of the assessment tool and do double-blind assessments which really allows HR & Senior Management to see what needs work and what the business is doing well with on behalf of providing for our team.

It's easy to search yourself and your colleagues in terms of who is who in the company and reviewing org charts, especially as a recruiter to be able to communicate this to candidates as to who is on the team. It's also simple to request PTO and see who is out.

Wish I could click on the person directly and see where they are on the org chart from there, but there is some additional clicking on the user end to find them on the org chart.

Instead of relying on colleague's out of the office emails and Slack vacation settings, you can easily see who is out of the office and in a bulk setting within Bamboo HR.
