I don't really dislike anything about it. The analytics could be more in-depth with a heatmap or some other addon, but really it tells you what you need to know already.

The templates are customizable to suit your individual field. Adding the company logo, changing colors, etc. is all easy and makes for a professional look. Having a record of design approval will be instrumental in my business.

I haven't found anything to dislike about Better Proposals.

Having a record of design approval is the most important part of my business. Second to that, is having a record of cost approval. Better Approvals makes this process very simple and makes me look SO professional.

Once you have looked around teh system and created your perfect proiposal deisgn, the additions make the process so easy, to get a job signed off before better proposals was a long process that invloved many emails, better proposals cuts all thsi out and saves you time, all you need to do is make sure you spend some time on desiging your correct proposal, somthing you would think WOW if you received it, then yu will be happy you did becsue the job will be signed off with ease. A definate addition to my business.

It is fiddly to set up at the start but once you get the hang of the editing functions, it will be quite easy.

This takes my operations online where I have greater follow up visibility with my clients for anything that may be outstanding or requiring discussion points.

This is a great selling tool for companies and individuals. Easy to use and keep a track of sales, proposals, quotes and turnaround, as well as keeping basic data for analysing.

Please consider a free view only option instead of closing an account altogether.

It's really streamlined our sales process. We didn't have a great process for guiding our customers to our goal until we started to use Better Proposals.

I've experienced just a few bugs when building proposals where I'd have to "Save & Exit" and then come back into the proposal to finish but I expect that with almost any software that I use.

Not much negatives: On an iPhone (maybe Android too?), background videos will not load. As a workaround, I suggest people to use a computer. Also, taxes in Quebec Canada are 14.975% but Betterproposal only accepts two digits (00.00%).

It's a great motivational tool! I get numerous comments on how cool it looks.

The ability to create templates for all products and bundles, the proposal templates, and then be able to include explainer videos and images. On the back end knowing every single time someone interacts with the proposal and how long they spend on each page

The downside is specific to your company - you shouldn't just lob a proposal overboard by email. It should be presented in person. They've made a lot of changes to get signatures and payments direct, which is awesome.

I love the ability to customize pre-written template modules to tailor each proposal to the client's needs. I was able to send a customized proposal in less than 10 minutes recently!

I would like to see the auto-fill text features be easier to insert and manage. I am not familiar with coding so some "drag and drop" options would be helpful. I also think it would be helpful to be able to set up option sets for auto-filled text. For example, setting billing rates or fields (like "local jurisdiction") that automatically update wherever they appear in the document would help avoid mistakes and speed up the process.

I have templates for different types of project proposals that have allowed us to speed up the proposal writing process significantly. I am also planning to set up templates for sign-offs at different milestones to document approvals.

The coherence and simplicity of the offer design to money-in-the-bank that is impactful for any product/service. Although it is not advertised, essentially, BetterProposals creates a product/service website with integrated payment.

I dislike the PDF conversion. It leaves too many blank spaces, and it does not produce pretty reports.

We are educating prospective buyers on the whole aspects of a product/service. It makes it easier to collect and create case studies and save them as templates. Templates are an excellent feature—payments through integration with Stripe and Chat through Zendesk.

Create beautiful proposals, track them, use templates, add in options, embed videos. It's a great software! I'm a software consultant and it's helped me not only save time on proposals, but deliver a really great, simple experience to the client. Read, choose your options, sign, and all the admin is out of the way, we can dive straight in.

The payment tables are fiddly. The backend for this is lacking - what services do you have, are they one-off vs. recurring, Are they included vs. not included. The other thing is about the contract - right now we're only using one, but it would be nice to have the option to say add in a contract depending on what the client's selected. So if they select say a 6 month support package, add in an SLA contract, that kind of thing.

Streamline my proposal sending process. Easier to explain the scope of my work. Much easier for me to say reuse videos that will do a better job explaining software and always be up to date - i love this feature. It takes a lot of the client "education" time out of the equation.

Not only is better proposals easy to use, it creates STUNNING proposals. Saves times and helps close deals... nothing is better than that!

I would like to be able to download an entire template into the content library.

The PDF print option was a bit messy to start but they have been constantly improving that and it is better every release. I have nothing else to dislike.

Customization of beautiful, online proposals that are easy to read and follow. Better Proposals allows me to create an index that makes it easy for clients to navigate. My FAVORITE thing is that I can see when a proposal is opened, downloaded and signed, allowing me to move the clients into a smaller sales funnel.

There is not too much that I dislike. Anything I do dislike, one by one they are cleaning up.

Contract management

In my sector the simple fact that a proposal is good looking is a differentiator. The fact that Better Proposals allows us to create great looking proposals and have them online too is fantastic. We can move faster and produce better looking content.

My industry still likes to print things off, archive PDFs into project folders, etc. The PDF export could be better, although I understand this might be difficult without compromising the main online product. Hopefully my industry will catch up.

This is hands down the best proposal solution I've ever used. It takes a bit to get your bearings but once you're comfortable you can whip up awesome and engaging proposals, send them out, track interactions with them, and edit on the fly. Great product! Even better is the customer support - they are super fast to get back and even faster in making fixes when necessary. I was totally blown away that I sent a request before going to bed and the fix was in by the time I woke up. Amazing.

I'd like to see a dedicated contract section for the proposals. It would also be cool if you could add places where the client needed to initial certain points before the final signing.

More than anything, the customer service is incredible. Sabrina is like a friend that genuinely cares about how well I do! You cannot ask for more. Amazing!! I also love that it's an actual webpage that I integrated with my chat account. If a prospect has a question they don't have to wait until our next conversation or write it down or assume the wrong answer, they just click on chat and ask me!

- This is cloud-based, and if your internet disconnect, be aware and beware - you might lose your work. Having segments of proposals in the library will actually save you from disaster in the future.

Before Better Proposals, I used Google Docs for proposals, but it wasn't near as professional looking. Now I can create top notch proposals and track the customer interaction with my proposal.
