Resource planning and time management; Invoicing
The ease of synchronization with QuickBooks Online now is so much better than it was before. The depth of the uses that the data can provide is fantastic.
I want BigTime to be able to accept payments so I do not have to use QuickBooks Online. If BigTime could also do banking, it would save one step in the process.
BigTime helps us as owners solve our problem of knowing how productive our staff is and how profitable each job is at any given time without spending hours figuring it out.
Speed of reply from the customer support was great.
Screen sharing capabilities would be a nice touch.
How to track what goes on in our business .
The Support and ease of reaching a representative either by chat of via phone. I worked with Brittany Urrutia today, she was extremely helpful in getting me the answers I needed to set up unique engagements and tasks.
The site can be daunting for a new user.
BigTime is allowing me and my company to really track how much time we spend on a specific client task and where we could be wasting time and how we can improve in that area.
It is easy to configure and integrates well with QuickBooks. We can configure a single resource with multiple cost rates and bill rates. Highly configurable.
They are constantly enhancing the platform, so sometimes there are little bugs. But that isn't too big of a deal since it is so feature-rich in what we need.
Better managing a consultancy with better capacity planning, reporting, and dashboards with highly configurable projects, resources and allocations.
It integrates with QB desktop, it tracks time and expenses, client portal, it does not use Stripe as CC processor.
WE want to recapture the cc fees when we invoice a client. We would like the client to see if they chose to pay with cc that the fee will increase the amount of invoice.
We were using Houzz , which does not interface with QB desktop. We were not able to send statements to clients. We can do this with Big Time
Ryan Anderl has been great in taking us through the onboarding and training process with BigTime. He has been patient and clear as we ask him similar questions over and over. As I re-listen to the recordings of our calls, I see what demanding clients we have been. We talk among ourselves and are undecided about what we want to show up on invoicing. We interrupt and talk over Ryan at times, yet he patiently waits. Rather than just quickly show us how it is done, he lets me 'drive' so I can learn the process for the next go around. BigTime is a very robust and flexible program with lots of options and lots of ways to get similar results. Ryan shows us these options but emphasizes the quickest, easiest or most effective way to get the results we want. We are very pleased with BigTime's integration with Quickbooks.
Because BigTime is a robust and flexible program with lots of options, there is a learning curve for using it.
BigTime checks all the boxes for us. It allows contractors to submit time, it integrates with Quickbooks, it can keep track of project budgets and % complete.
I like the premier version and Daniel Novak as my customer support manager! Daniel Novak has been outstanding to work with since he joined Bigtime! He truly is an ambassador of customer service, before he joined bigtime we were unsure if we would join back up, but since he has we feel confident in the partnership. I can't say enough good things about Daniel!
Paying extra for tech support and the Accounts Receivable lack of
Timesheets and expense management for our staffing company
BigTime makes time entry easy for our engineers and makes reporting easy for our office manager. I also like the clean appearance of the data on the summary screens/dashboard. Piner Markovchick was equally patient and knowledgeable, and fun to work with. He made sure we were confident and ready before we went live with BigTime.
I wish we had more control over the format of the output reports. I know you can configure what data is exported and in what order, but it would be nice to be able to change the look.
BigTime is making it easier to enter time and to generate reports for billing purposes. It will save us countless hours and potential errors that can happen when you have to manually manipulate data.
I love the ability to be able to track my team's time for invoicing as well as do my invoicing and send my invoices all from one place. Having the ability for all the time tracking, invoices, and payments all in one place is extremely helpful as well as being able to access remotely at anytime.
There are some features that every now and then don't quite work correctly. Sometimes i have to manually send invoices becuase bigtime wont let me send specific invoices. i also wish there were project specific dashboards related to invoicing so i can see budget and billing in one place and not have to have multiple screens open.
Right now i'm not sure if any problems haven't been solved. typically when i reach out i get a concrete response from the bigtime team. Today i reached out about read recipets on invoices and that is currently not a feature and made a request for it.
