What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Nothing really comes to mind as far as dislikes for CaptivateIQ. It's simple enough for a user to get the information you need. I would recommend this tool for payment scheduling.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

understanding compensation scheduling and the details around it. Taking out those conversations with the finance team to try to figure out when you'll get paid.

"Love using CapIQ!"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Captivate IQ is extremely user friendly, it is helpful to refer to regularly, and it keeps me on track. Especially with the new AI capabilities, I am glad we use this as our sales commission tool!

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Every now and then the email notifications do not align once you're brought to a report within the website, so you have to go out and back in to complete a payout review.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

CaptivateIQ keeps us all on the same page, enabling us to see monthly, quarterly, and year long attainment as well as President's Club attainment. It benefits me to know how I compare and where I stand so I can keep aiming higher!

"Excellent comp tool"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

CaptivateIQ has exceeded my expectations. I have been working with different comp tools during the last 8 years and CIQ is by far the most user friendly and flexible one. Apart from offering transparency to the sales reps, it is also very easy to use from an admin perspective. It has smart features, such as the What-if calculator (that allows the reps to see the potential earnings for future deals), an embedded ticketing system (the Inquiry feature), great customization of commission statements, reports, dashboards, and even allows for the automatic identification of the deals generating true-up balances. What I like the most is that the Support team is really responsive and helpful as compared to other tools on the market (some even more reputable, see Xactly). Also, I appreciate the fact that the CIQ team always strives to improve their product and releases new features that improve the tool. I am totally content with my decision to use CIQ, because once you set it up correctly, it is very easy to use.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

I cannot say that there's something I dislike about the tool. If you are not familiar with the tool then you may find its customized formulas odd, or maybe some features may seem difficult to use (such as Advanced Reporting), but with some training everything makes sense.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

CIQ is a great compensation tool. It offers flexibility in creating and managing commission plans. It allows admins to manage compensation throughout the business cycle from the starting point of routing the sales compensation plans via DocuSign to the sales employees until they earn their commissions and they get paid.

"Great Commission Software"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

The software itself is intuitive and pretty easy to set-up if we want to update our commission plan. It's set-up in a way that's very similar to excel so that if you understand that, it's very easy to learn CapIQ.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

The software cannot freeze panes (at least I haven't been able to figure that out). But overall, the software works really well and with the constant updates, I wouldn't be surprised if that feature became available.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to automate our commissions process since before it was somewhat manual. As our firm begins to scale and we have more sales reps, we need a more automated process and CapIQ seems to be the solution for that. There's also an analytics portion where you can design your dashboard which neatly shows commissions over time.

"Captivate IQ is great"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

How it makes it easier to keep track of my variable pay, I also use it to keep track of my work since my VCP is directly linked to it. Great software were you can raise issues and collaborate.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

That it takes time to change anything in the backend. It took a lot of time to change the VCP calculation formula from the backend and we were not able to use it for a month.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I mentioned, it is making my life easier by keeping a track of my work and the VCP linked to it. It's easier to calculate and also cross check my VCP calculation for the month.

"CaptivateIQ Review"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I personally love being able to log onto CaptivateIQ and see exactly where I'm at for the quarter in terms of my Quota Payout. It's an organized way to see what we're being paid out for the great work that we do!

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

The only thing I dislike about CaptivateIQ is when it isn't updated accurately. Sometimes it takes a while to update how many of my meetings are completed/revopps are created, which can be frustrating because I can't see how much I'm getting paid out.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has always been difficult for me to keep track of exactly how much I'm being paid out for the quarter. My payout is based on meetings completed and revenue opportunities created, and CaptivateIQ always me to go in and see how I'm tracking for the quarter.

"Know Where You Stand on Your Comp Plan!"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I appreciate how CaptivateIQ keeps me in tune with opportunities closed, commissions paid, and where I stand relative to my quota. It gives me confidence that my pay is correct when I am asked to approve the projected commissions on new sales before they are paid out.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

There is nothing that I dislike about the intel that is gleaned from CaptivateIQ.

What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping me abreast on upcoming commission payments on an opportunity by opportunity basis.
