Easy to keep track of commissions and when they will be paid out.

Compensation transparency
I've used CaptivateIQ at 3 different companies now and I love it. It makes reading my commision statements super transparent and allows me to connect internally and get it corrected if need be. It also has a super user friendly interface that takes no time to learn.
The only thing I do not like about it would be it doesn't give real time commission updates that sync with your CRM. That is what I would love to see most of their platform.
It brings transparency to my commissions and makes it easy to view and connect with my team if any changes are to be made.
What I like about CaptivateIQ is the user interface being very easy. I am able to navigate through my profile and find everything I need without have to dig and search. I have yet to have any issues.

The breakdown of the money is very important as I run many projects that my comissions are based on so being able to make sure everything is correct is important
After using this for about 18 months to review earned commissions, I have appreciated having a bespoke platform for calculating commissions earned. Over time, the calculation speed has improved dramatically (there is so much data to drill through). It does a good job handling past periods, and the next "preview" statement, but as we are paid a month back, it doesn't natively give you a preview of the actual current month - this has to be manually pulled instead which is not as intuitive. Overall this is a valuable tool that fulfills the required functionality.
It would be nice if it had some built in logic to track performance over time both from a quota and earnings perspective. It can be difficult to go "back in time" to check this data manually.
Understanding sales performance and individual comp.
Previously, I had to check my sales performance by Excel every quater. It takes time and effort. After the introduction of CaptivateIQ, it became very comfortable. Thank you so much!

Our comp plan has several layered components to our compensation. CaptivateIQ provides a simple yet detailed analysis for a quick and easy review.
The statement layouts are very easy to read and customize. Communications between payout recipient and managers can be handled within CIQ utilizing their inquiry tool. This is beneficial when having to reference prior instances for resolving current issues.
The initial understanding of how the Data & connections work as well as formulating the workbooks takes time. However, the CIQ team are always available to help with the setup, which makes implementation run a bit smoother.
CaptivateIQ is currently working on their Sandbox, which will help with test runs utilizing our Production instances in the Sandbox version. It's a good way to ensure everything is working the way we expect it to work, before having to run our payouts.
Very easy to see payouts. Detailed reports, and easy ability to inquiry about discrepancies.

It makes it simple to track your commissions month over month and project your future revenue. It's also simple for me as a rep to open a ticket for our team in the case of any issues in commission statements.

Previous to CaptivIQ it was hard to get an accurate understanding of our commission payouts. With CaptivIQ, I can expect the monthly detailed report to have exactly what I need to cross reference with my records.
We did not have a program to capture commission breakdowns before CaptivateIQ so this was a major improvement! It's so easy to use, the notifications are effective, and the inquiry feature is extremely helpful. I especially love the confetti that pops up on the screen when you open your statement
No major complaints! Our comp plan is quite complex and CaptivateIQ is still able to accomodate that.
CIQ provides a detailed breakdown of how and why commission was earned, where we previously did not have a clean way to capture this. It makes it super simple to do gut checks and send in questions to our revenue operations team. No training is needed! It's so intuitive.
CaptivateIQ has a lot of flexibility in creating different types of plans and the ease of use from an administrative standpoint has been great. I have a lot of confidence in the calculation and payment of commissions for our users.
We were referred out to a 3rd party consulting firm for implementation and did not have a great experience. However, CaptivateIQ customer support was very helpful in turning that experience around. The reporting tool has also not been very user friendly or intuitive.
The biggest advantage we've seen since transitioning to CaptivateIQ is the increased confidence in the accuracy of commission calculations and payments. Our users have regained trust in the process because it is so easy for them to navigate to see their commission/payment data.
CaptiveIQ is easy to use mainly compared with the spreadsheed we used to use.

Before we used a spreadsheet where we faced many errors calculating and following compensations. CaptiveIQ has solved this problem reducing the timeframe to receive payments.
