Maxon has evolved Cinema 4D into the leading 3D Modeling software for a reason. Not only is it capable of creating incredible 3D scenes, but the physics it’s able to recreate as well as the dynamic and photorealistic rendering (with added plugins,) it can render our… Its incredible.
The price point is ridiculous. Especially when Blender, an open source freeware, is almost, if not just as robust and good.
It has allowed me to be able to create product promotions for my clients that I would’ve never been able to create otherwise. It has definitely elevated my capabilities and stock.
C4D offers various features and tools for modelling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering. It can handle various tasks, from simple 3D modelling to complex visual effects.
While Cinema 4D has a wide range of built-in tools, some advanced features and specialised workflows may require additional third-party plugins, which can add to the overall cost.
C4D excels in motion graphics, providing powerful tools for creating animated titles, visual effects, and complex motion designs. Its MoGraph module allows for efficient and flexible motion graphics workflows.
Cinema 4D is most User friendly 3D software. The best part of C4D is it's MoGraph and Dynamics. It is way too easy than other 3D softwares. compare to 3DS Max and Maya, Cinema 4D is more fast and Easy to use.
Cinema 4D has very less to Dislike though but if asked I think It need to work more on VFX pipeline as it's working more on motion graphics but have compositing and tracking options also in c4d which need to be more developed.
It has Procedural way of Modeling and another stuff which is really helpful and fast. We can do any changes even after completing full assignment that's what is procedural. Easy to make 3D motion graphics i use it for teaching in my institute and love to work on cinema 4D
Great product tho model, render and animate. Has an excellent own render engine. And if combined with other render engines (like Vray), great quality can be achieved!! And it also runs in Windows and Mac, so it's hard to have compatibility issues.
Not so many plugins and materials existing in comparison with 3DS Max and Maya.
No business problems. As a benefit I can distinguish the compatibility of Operative Systems.
Cinema 4d offers ease of use and a robust toolset for modeling, motion graphics, and rendering. Its learning curve is not steep compared to other packages.
Maxon Introduced a subscription model recently, They should have retained perpetual Licences and included Redshift in the package.
Maxon is my go too modeling tool for Architectural design-Furniture to be specific. Its shortened the time i take to deliver projects to clients
The tools provided inside Cinema4d are really easy to use. The tools are very good, especially for motion graphics.
The interface of c4d is quite boring as compared to other software. Also, its integration with other software is not that good.
Whenever we are looking for quick, vibrant motion graphic animations, it is the first software we look forward to.
From the first day of use, you identify with cinema4d's intuitive and easy-to-use GUI. This is a great starting point, while other similar software seems confusing, in cinema4d you get a lightweight environment with easily accessible features. It has fantastic resources for animation, both for beginners and advanced users, in a few minutes you can get interesting effects, especially when learning the Mograph resources. Finishing a render using redshift will complete the experience as it should be.
Advanced users may miss some modeling features, such as a good retopology tool, the one present in the cinema doesn't work properly and we often prefer not to use it. Another negative point is the price, very expensive, especially for beginners.
Four years ago I started in the 3D world and tested some software, very confused at first until I tried cinema4d. The work environment attracted me and in the first few minutes of use I felt comfortable modeling the first parts of my engineering project and testing animations. I continue to use it to this day because over time we can learn the advanced features and this fuels the initial passion for the work environment provided.
The user interface, speed, flexibility. Robust modeling and animation tools
Price, lack of exporting options, Buggy gltfb, and fbx exports. Still not suitable for game pipeline
I use it daily basis to create animation, 3d illustrations and motion graphics
Cinema 4D has become a very important tool for graphic designers of today, as it is distinguished by its innovation, high customization capacity and easy usability. The service is distinguished by providing access through computers and Mac. It has very useful functions such as its image editor, drag and drop, templates, animations, 2D drawings, among other functions that allow high quality work.
The price of this service is extremely expensive, so it is necessary for people to have a large budget. I believe that it is necessary to implement more documentation to help new users who acquire the service to learn more easily how the software works and thus be able to give it a more appropriate use from the beginning. Sometimes the operation of the interface of this software has slowed down for a few seconds, I consider that it is a failure of which corrections must be made since it becomes something quite uncomfortable.
We use Cinema 4D as our main software to make animations to multiple videos, make edits and customizations on a large scale that allows us to provide a great experience to our audience, the software provides us with a large amount of resources that allows us to execute tasks with high professionalism, complete our main objectives and drive the growth of our business.
I've utilized Cinema 4D in my business team. I was attracted to the program in light of the fact that usability. I like that it is so natural to learn and build up your abilities in the program.
The program albeit moderately simple to utilize can have its subtleties structure time to time. I think that its hard to find certain highlights.
Since I can't move beyond doing fundamental things, I haven't had the option to take care of any genuine issues yet. I'd prefer to utilize it for type plan, mockups, and other 3D demonstrating.
