cPanel has an amazing catalog of features, and its interface is divided very well into particular branches (Security, E-Mail, Domain, DNS, etc.), which makes it very easy to use and understand. From one place, without any more clicks, I can guide to everything my domain and website affects.
Actually nothing. I never had a single issue navigating through cPanel, finding settings or change things accordingly to my needs. The only thing I could possibly think of would possibly a redesign in the near future to make it look a little bit more modern.
cPanel slims down the need of clicks. Everything is in one place, easily and readily accessible for a domain owner. It's also very easy to install, re-install or modify CMSs.
cPanel makes our work very easy, One of the best control panels in the world for sure. It provides tons of features to host websites very easily.
Using cPanel for many years and have no complaints about it. Would like to see highly availability and periodic health checks options in the future.
Using Cpanel for many years to host websites. Very easy to handle in every situation. Support is also very good if you stuck.
cPanel has a very user-friendly interface that everyone already familiar, No doubt it is the most feature-full control panel for linux based web hosting environments. Very easy to connect with billing platforms such as WHMCS and provides user-friendly options to create and manage everything on that account.
Even it has a friendly user interface, With some limitations in the User interface, some customizations need to be done by a professional or an expert. Also, would like to see cloud storage platform support for backup data.
We use cPanel to host websites in Linux based environments and to manage accounts and features.
We heavily use cPanel to manage web hosting accounts in our company. Simple because it is the customer's choice, customers are so in love with the dashboard and features cPanel provides.
I would like to see the much-awaited NGINX support very soon on the cPanel. With NGINX support cPanel would be the dashboard that no one can say NO.
cPanel is used to manage features for website hosting customers. UI and the pricing plans are the most recent for this attraction.
No doubt cPanel is one of the best control panels out there. Really in love with features and the flexibility it provides to host websites.
So far so good, however, I would like to see a load balancing feature on cPanel to make hosts highly available.
Using cPanel to host websites, Easily customizable fort our needs.
It is a all in one dashboard to manage web hosting. When it comes to web hosting industry security is the most important thing and cPanel take care everything for us while letting us to manage everything in a graphical dashboard. There are few alternatives but not a single one offers this much features and support.
Recently increased pricing and it is based on cPanel accounts instead of a licence type. Prices are now higher. But yet the best dashboard.
Dashboard to manage web hosting. Security and monitoring can be done easily while managing the dashboard.
It is very easy to use, creating a subdomain is a few minutes, for a newbie it is very simple, I love its interface and the functions it has, manage accounts in a few steps
sometimes the options are not in place and it is difficult to locate them, and the technical support takes a long time to solve the problems
Some functions are very good, to host my client's servers, this software is appropriate
Easily install CMS, manage domains, setup SSL, AND SO MUCH MORE.
Unnecessary if you are highly experienced in server management
Setting up hosting environments is now easy and I can train my clients to maintain their own websites.
WHM aka Web Host Manager is THE best addition to CPANEL to help operate your hosting/server account. There are other variances of CPANEL/WHM that come close but none can match WHM. The features and open availability to add more as you grow is one of the best features I love about it. The other reason I love WHM is due to cost. It is cost effective for anyone running a new server or starting a new business. A+++++++!
I wish there were more webmail choices. I have used Cpanel/WHM for over 10 years and have always wished they would add more mail options. But you learn to work with what is included and make the best of it. There's really only one other thing I dislike and that is some of the compatibility issues. There's some software that works on Windows servers but does not work on Linux and I wish there was a way to change that , but that's really all I dislike about it.
Time is the biggest. WHM makes things that would normally be time-consuming, much much faster. It streamlines the rest of what you're working on and it all kind of falls into place, but much quicker. The other problem we are solving is saving money by purchasing WHM. There are alternative solutions but they cost much more than this software and may or may not have similar features. Lastly, Ease of use is a definite solution to many problems, especially with inexperienced staff. Most novice users have caught onto WHM and it's features really quickly. Very easy to learn!
Easy to setup, easy to use, stable and secure.
Updates always give some problems. They should review the updates better.
We use it to manage websites. Users love it
Having an easy to use client interface is what makes me use cPanel. Easy access to phpMyAdmin, File Manager, FTP accounts. Create a new subdomain in a few clicks.
There is nothing to dislike for Cpanel. It's great
Easy access to all the items
Very easy to use even for a novice web host; Create and manage accounts in just a few easy steps
Would like to assign Users under my account that can view, suspend or unsuspend accounts but not be able to view customer creditials or setup "phantom" accounts to steal customer information
Managing domains under my control, create new users very quickly
Very intuitive - really don't have to know what you are doing. Just need to know what you need to be done.
There are some limitations obviously from from command line but will do 99% of what most people need.
Quick easy host management for multiple sites with multiple users and permission.
Everything is organised, with an overview of server/account stats on right. Things are where you expect them to be.
There is some clutter, though I'm not sure if that can be turned off by the service provider.
UI-based web server management.
cPanel makes it easy for me to manage multiple websites for myself and my customers.
I would like to see live statistical graphs for system and account level resources shown in a nice customizable dashboard. Currently the sidebar summary leave a lot to be desired.
I am managing my small business websites as well as customer websites from my web host.
Cpanel really is a good hosting control panel, it is always correcting all the bugs that users report, every week I always see important updates and implementing software in the best way. Your support team through your ticket system is really good.
- They must improve additional security system and not create independent software to charge more money. Case for example of Inmunify365 that belongs to cloud linux that in turn belongs to cpanel. - They must create their own tools for installing third-party software such as softaculous. - They must implement ngnix that does not have it yet.
- Standardization in our servers with a single control panel - Our customers are happy with how easy and intuitive the panel is. - As the most popular panel, third-party software has created plugins for cpanel, providing us with a lot of work and support
Having used several control panel software, cPanel wins hands down. It is easy to use, feature-rich, easy to update, and affordable.
cPanel isn't free, if you can consider that a downside, if you have your own server
I'm a web host and utilize WHM & cPanel to manage my sites. This saves me a tremendous amount of time and makes me confident that my sites are running properly.
One of the best dashboard out there to manage linux servers, has a very clean layout, super user friendly, WHM is for server administrators and cPanel is for end users who uses it every day. WHM is capable of customzing everything to our likings and cPanel loved by our customers. Very easy to setup, and the cPanel team is there always to help you out when you stuck. We have integrated it with WHMCS and it makes the billing side of it easy as well.
If the price for mid-tieres can be lowered a bit that would benificatial to users.
Manage linux servers and provide an interface for end users to manage thiere portion of it.
Helps us manage our websites and servers without running complex commands. We often need to tweak settings to be able to install our software product on a website and cpanel helps us to perform actions that can easily be done without the need of a technical person.
While performing actions related to database like creating new database or adding a database user the panel takes a lot of time to go back to the previous page. This thing needs to be improved upon.
We are a software product company and our product gets installed on a server. Me and my team needs to install the product at least twice a week and we can easily do so with the help of cpnel without the need to contact DevOps team. We use features like uploading the file on server, creating/modifying database, setting up corn jobs with the help of cpanel. Also to troubleshoot the server cpanel offers a Terminal on which we can run Linux and laravel commands to interact with our server. Without cpanel it would be very difficult for me and my team to set up our product. We would need to be doing all things via commands and thus would have been a very steep learning which is cut short by cpanel
Its quick and user friendly. You can easily shift from any other platform and if you are new to backend web developemnt, cpanel stands as a good strating point.
Because of its siplicity, functions are limited and errors are sometimes overlooked. Navigating to the error log is like walking through a maze. File handling is also limited.
It is running my website and my domain. the benefits are that I can run multiple domains on the same C-Panel login as I have bought them from the same hosting provider.
