Everything is metered in credits, and ElevenLabs helpfully translates them: roughly 1,000 credits buys a minute of text to speech. So the 10,000-credit free tier is about ten minutes a month, and Pro’s 600,000 credits is about ten hours.

Pretty easy to get started with their voices. The voices are professional sounding and natural, and the latency is pretty decent.
Sometimes the voices would run a little fast or the tone may be inconsistent, but it's not a huge issue.

The ease of use, the intuitive UX is second to none. They've thought of everything you'd need for recording synthesised sound creation. I find the user made voices very useful and probably the best thing about it. I did find the character limit annoying to begin with but fully understand how useful it is as a user.

ElevenLabs is at the front of the pack when it comes to TTS. They're even doing dubbing now, letting you turn video and pre-recorded audio into other languages.

Eleven Labs comes with a lot of pre-build great voices. The quality and the speed is outstanding. Besides the standard functionality, you can create your own AI voices or modify others in the voice lab.
The only "issue" is the pricing. When you create longer audios it can easily become a bit costly as the plans are based on volumes. Besides that there are no negative points.
Text to Speech for videos and short audio files. It´s beneficial, that instead of recording traditional you simply write/copy down the script and the AI creates the rest. The quality even in non English languages is great - so the tool saves me time.

I wish there was a way to select the language you're trying to create, because if you mix english words in between a spanish script for instance, it changes to spanish with english accent. Also, I miss a way to differentiate between spanish dialects (Latinoamerican Spanish or Spanish from Spain).

It is very easy to create new voices and use them. I use the tool almost every day and i often see new features and improvements, which means they are very active with it and this gives a lot of trust to continue using it.
With created voices (especially the Fine-Tuned one, you really have to keep the number of characters low or the iterations change a lot. Perhaps the character limit is a bit annoying, as even if you dont reach it it gets reset and they are not saved, but I can understand this as their business model. I would like to have more models in different languages, as right now all the ones in the library are in english with different accents, so if you want another language you must create your own voice.
I do content creation and it really helps speed up the process of creating videos, helping avoid the need to do several voice recordings, especially with the Fine-Tuned
ElevenLabs came to my notice from some Youtube videos that complained how this app was used to clone the US presidents voice. Apparently the app did its job very well. And that is the best thing about ElevenLabs. It does its job well. Converting text to speech is done very accurately. If you choose one of the 100s of voices available in the app, the quality of the output is superior to all its competitors. And the interface is very easy to use.
Voice cloning does not work accurately everytime. I am from India. The voice cloning tool gets my pronounciations right about 90% of the time. But it americanises certain words. Another issue is in how the number of characters are counted. It is important since the credit is based on the number of characters used. Each space and paragraph is considered a character. Ensure to clean up the spaces and additional characters before you generate the audio.

The major problem ElevenLabs is solving is the time consumption in creating a single video.
Love the premade voices, a good range of options to select from. I had a couple of issues with using the Project option but got onto customer support and they very quickly explained and solved my problems I have been using everyday to provide voices for my social media videos and the process has been very simple.
I would have liked the ability to edit projects that can be found in history tab. Also, a breakdown of my usage in projects will be helpful too. The ability to assign certain emotions to phrases/keywords.
Providing the voice of narrator which although can be recorded by professionals it would be very expensive.
I've used several narration services, paid and free. As an aspiring author, it helps me to have my chapters read back to me. 11lab is by far the best I found so far.
