The ability for multiple colleagues to talk rapidly and be seen at the same time has been helpful to our process.

I use GoToMeeting for about 20 meetings per week. It used to work very well but lately it's been creating invalid links, not accepting access codes and flat out dropping calls

It is ubiquitous in the workplace. It's used by a lot of people and many industries and is backed by Citrix. You would think that would count for something.

It's spendy, and I found the customer support to be a little lacking in comparison to other software.

This is used for my salespeople to conduct demonstrations for potential clients. The problems are showing remote clients what our product does. The benefits are that we can use the scheduler to plan demos.

I like GoToMeeting for quick screenshares.

I like the benefits of connecting with remote team members and viewing presentations.

When I switched to Windows 8, only 1/4 of my laptop screen was visible to other participants. I searched help to correct this problem, but found other users were having the same problem.

We switched to another software vendor for our meeting solutions.

GoToMeeting was a great option until I realized there were tons of other free options out there doing the exact same thing.

I thought it was inexpensive, till I realized that they charge way to much for what they are offering.

It is mostly very easy to use as a presenter.

Every time there is an update to the software, they place the application shortcut on my desktop. Very annoying. Service has been intermittent lately. Hard for the people who are being presented to to easily understand how to change the screen size and resolution for the presenting window.

Cuts down on travel and makes it very easy to get on the same page with customer prospects.

I appreciate that GoToMeeting works across multiple different operating systems, so that meeting participants do not need to have a specific device or prior experience to join meetings.

While GoToMeeting has been very help for exclusively presentation-based meetings, it is not very user friendly or helpful as a technology for collaborative meetings and discussion.

Using GoToMeeting to attend webinars has been very helpful as it can accommodate a large number of attendees and allows for easy information sharing between one speaker and a large audience.

I see no benefits of this application that other software does not do better.

Very slow loading and response time and does not integrate well with other applications. Frequent issues connecting.

GoToMeeting is only used when an outside partner sends the request. Other applications (Zoom, for example) are much more efficient.

Don't need to pay for it. Google Meet and other platforms make paying for it obsolete. Worst customer service. High pressure sales. We cancelled and they have charged us 5 months after still. They confirmed our cancellation by email, and refuse to acknowledge the email from their company

Zero. GoToMeeting is a problem

It is a platform that allows you to meet others in a business setting. The basics are free also.

It isn't easy to get onto a meeting at all. It has confusing directions on whether to downloasd the app or just continue to view it in the browser. It is very frustrating to know if you have to sign in or not too. I have tried both and it still won't take me to a particular meeting. It is amateur at best.

I am not solving any problems on GoToMeeting because I am having a great deal of difficulty getting on a meeting in this platform. I do not know of any befefits.

GoToMeeting has many excellent features and is relatively easy to learn - there are YouTube tutorials available for beginners.

It is painful to use. You are required to restart the computer to be able to launch the meeting. Another problem is how expensive it is to use for hosting your meetings. It is costly for the average individual.

Not traveling for in-person meetings. Depending on where you live, winter can be brutal. I was hoping for GoToMeetings to solve the headache of traveling to tutor students and teach students but it did not meet my expectations at all.

I like the ease of of setting up a meeting and creating a self generated email that is easy to copy and send to your invitees. It is very easy to set up your account and get meetings scheduled.

The screen sharing feature needs to be improved. When you hit your screen share button, unless the settings are pre - arranged you lose the faces of your group you are presenting to. When they do show up they are in a side bar that is hard to see them and interact with them. This has caused me to be some what distracted at times during presentations.

The biggest problem it has solved for me is commuting and the ability to give my presentation visually and not verbally on the phone. This has been a game changer for me personally. Instead of spending hours behind the wheel with a lot of windshield time, I am able to be more productive by getting clients to log in to a face to face meeting. I have realized less drive time giving me more to time to complete work related tasks. It has also saved me from showing up and having been ghosted on the meeting. There is nothing more frustrating than arriving and then not having your prosepective client not show up with no communciation. The benefit of having them RSVP and sending auto notifications of the meeting have help alleviate the problem of conveniently forgetting about an in - person meeting.

The software is like the "little girl with curl in the middle of her forehead" - when it is good it is very, very good, but when it is bad and needs customer support it is horrid

I have been trying for two weeks to get support to address the problem I am having with Go To Meeting not being able to connect or detect my camera and even failing to load sometimes. They are unable to solve the problem and each new tech support purpose is totally unaware of what the previous person has tried. One even sent me tips about how to fix my microphone when all my concerns have been with my camera. Incidentally, the camera works perfectly with Zoom.

When it works I am able to participate in meetings with my staff and run public proceedings with numerous participants.

It's a method to communicate. But there are better options.

That you have to download software to your computer to use and it's buggy.

Goto meeting is a platform that is able to do video conferencing calls. It is useful if you are trying to set this up with multiple parties. I have used this a few times without problem, but it is not the best for video conferencing.

There are other competitors in the space that have better user interfaces. The platform seems a bit outdated and is not as user friendly compared to popular video conferencing platforms. You also have to pay to use this and other platforms offer free solutions with overall better UI.

I don't like that I had to download an app to use it.

Used it because Knopman Marks was giving their classes that way, and it was the only option

It is relatively easy to use. The product "once installed" is simple. There are some functionalities that they hide and you cannot adjust unless you call their customer service which is bogus but it works well overall.

Customer service is mediocre. We had an issue where it would force new users to automatically have their webcam on.. With the recent transition to everyone being remote often times people aren't prepared or expecting to be on camera during a GoToMeeting conference call. I had to call customer service - sit on hold for almost an hour and have them turn it off on their end. They also switched from a classic view to a newly updated view - The newly updated view is garbage. I made our GoToMeeting automatically default to the old version because it is easier to use and button reappear that aren't there with the new version.

Connecting with our customers around the world. It is great to connect with customers in foreign countries that you cannot just pick up the phone and dial. It is also great for three way conference calls.
