Team is very supportive, lots of different actions you can track
finance process is confusing, seems like we are always behind
additional tracking KPIs, better CPAs from more efficient spend with pubs, help/support from their team
The team is great to work with. They are incredibly supportive, transparent, as well as helpful with anything that we need. They are a great partner in the space.
The platform seems to work slowly and crash somewhat frequently. There are days when I get log on for at least an hour at a time which then slows down the work me team is doing for our brands.
The reporting capabilities and commissioning structures are really amazing. It's great to be able to pay out partners on a desired action instead of the standards we see with other platforms.
When support or environmental issues came up, I found the issues to be well-documented. I appreciate Impact being ahead on some of the issues like Apple's tracking changes. The detailed analysis of the situation and impact, along with a proactive resolution is appreciated.
Navigation inside the platform is not bad but could use some improvement. Again, not bad, but it takes a while to get used to finding things. Some of the reports are not helpful. I can see where some things make more sense depending on the type of user.
Affiliate tracking and payments. We still have issues on our end to ensure we track everything correctly. It seems that Impact offers what we need if we get it implemented correctly.
The level of support we get from the Impact team is very good. We find the whole team really responsive and helpful to any queries we send across.
The aesthetics of the platform could be a little better. That and rate changes we apply to partners, we find other systems have better processes in place to set these live.
We are able to run niche affiliate campaigns via Impact, at a better level than we could via a traditional network. Impact also allows us to be more flexible with partners
As an agency providing partnership marketing to our clients, the platform offers an awesome level of flexibility particularly regarding creating complex commission structures and reporting. It's also very reliable.
There's still too many bugs - they're trying to be agile and develop new features all the time which is great, but they need to be more careful to avoid breaking existing ones as they go. They can be very slow or dismissive when complex resolutions are needed to issues.
Create meaningful partnerships that drive online sales.
Interface and reporting. Easy to export reports, pull by partner level, etc.
Impact doesn't assign publishers categories, like Rakuten or CJ does, (i.e. Loyalty, Email, CPA Network) so we have to manually do that
We're working with partners outside of traditional affiliates and leveraging Impact's tracking.
Very simple to use. I mainly utilize the Reports feature. I like that you can customize what Reports show in the drop down.
Would be convenient to have a way to bulk download the Ad details under Manage Ads.
No problems
I love the technology of Impact. On the advertiser side things are very intuitive and the overall functionality of the platform is great!
Sometimes the system can be slow or gives an error for what seems like no reason.
I work with media partners so the functionality of the commissioning structure has been amazing. The updates that have been made to contracts have made so many different things possible which is great especially for testing.
Impacts report system is amazing. Feature is great for grabbing data quickly and efficiently.
Non so far. Impact has a very user friendly system.
Easy management of my sales and reports being pulled in daily/weekly/monthly sessions.
I like how granular you can get with the reporting functionality. SKU level reporting is huge for me because it maximizes accuracy. I also like how customizable the Insertion Order terms can be, particularly with locking dates. Having a uniform locking date across all programs on Impact doesn't make sense to me, so allowing each program to customize this around its own return policy means that commissions aren't being paid out on orders that have been returned.
I wish that the Posting Date (i.e. the date that a transaction was posted in Impact) was included in reporting functionality, as opposed to just the date of the transaction. This would give greater insight as to when transactions were modified, and it can be useful for differentiating between pre and post-reversal numbers. My other suggestion would be to allow for order modification files to be sent via the Impact interface, rather than through Filezilla. Perhaps there is a reason for Filezilla, but having an interface option would make the process a little bit more user friendly.
I use Impact to dig into performance data in affiliate programs. The reporting features offer a wide array of customizable reports that allow me to look at performance in multiple ways. This is nice because it saves me time from having to manipulate data in Excel to see it in a usable way. Impact does a lot of this for me on the back end.
I like the reporting and tracking abilities of Impact. They make setting the platform up in a way that fits your brand possible.
Not much to dislike. If anything, it's that you need to get in touch with their tech team for some of the types of tracking implementations (for example, image pixels need to be manually created), but generally everything is easy.
Affiliate marketing tracking and compensation. Can be used for some partnership/PPC stuff too.
Intuitive interface that provides performance transparency between you and your affiliate partners. Reporting and analytics by partner, device and content that all track based on your customer acquisition stages. Host a variety of ad formats that suit your partners needs and mix (banner ads, text links, email templates, etc). Impact also provides a flexible contract management platform so we can dynamically set commission structures by partner and manage at scale.
The billing cycles can be confusing – there's an action lock out period, 30-day approval process and then the Net payment timeline – which all delays parter payouts. We're a B2B company with an integration with Salesforce CRM and we've experienced multiple technical difficulties (we have the VP of Customer Success' direct contact) We also found performance problems with the attribution tool and the partner marketplace, both of which didn't perform as sold.
Affiliate performance tracking, enablement and management. We launched and new channel and have seen a positive ROI within the first 6-months of launch. We also have a dynamic platform for managing partner contracts and setting flexible commissions that doesn't require ongoing legal or finance review.
I like that client data is easily made available to you in real-time and client support is always in contact to give you assistance when we are running into issues with reporting.
Some of the redirects or reporting titles are not the same throughout the website which can cause confusion for members of 3rd party teams (affiliate marketing agencies, etc.). Additionally, the descriptions in the additional reporting section of Impact, do not all/accurate descriptions of the report that is made available. For instance, some of these report descriptions are left blank and we could be utilizing a report that is more efficient that we aren't using currently.
I am able to give real time reporting results to clients and assessments on how advertisers are doing in the space using the tool. Sometimes the ticketing process is a bit slow or tends to fall off of the radar.
Impact is able to solve problems with IOs, partner management, and reporting I cannot find elsewhere. They put the control in advertisers hands rather than publishers, and allow advertisers the best customization for their affiliate marketing programs. Their interface is the easiest to maneuver out of other platforms I have used and simplifies things greatly for advertisers.
Impact can often times be glitchy, forcing me to clear cookies weekly, if not more. Some of their reports are often times wrong, which makes me doubt the data I pull.
One problem I have solved involves customizing contracts and tailoring payouts on the publisher level. Impact allows me to pay partners in such diverse ways that other platforms cannot. In addition, Impact has in depth reporting that dives deeper into attribution that other platforms do not provide.
Impact as a platform is robust in reporting options. Their reports offer ways to analyze data on a granular level and customize reporting to the needs of clients. Promotion code tracking is another perk. However, the most impressive part of working with Impact is the customer service! Neil and team always respond to requests with thoughtful, constructive information, often within minutes.
The biggest downside of Impact is the glitches within the platform. There are many bugs that will often shut down the platform for a half an hour, boot you out of the login, or send errors when you try to download reports. It is also often very slow to load - other platforms are much faster for pulling data.
Customized data is a huge benefit from Impact which allows us to better make strategic decisions on behalf of clients. The TrueLink mobile technology should be a great benefit for clients down the line.
The platform requires minimal management on our end, while still yielding great results. The performance has consistently met our ROAS and CPA goals.
I haven't had issues yet regarding performance. It took a small learning curve to set up influencers.
We're able to work with more editorials because of the affiliate platform. Easier to facilitate influencer agreements through Impact over other platforms we've used.
UI of Impact Radius is very clean and easy to navigate. I can also customize my dashboard and my reports based on my daily needs and tasks. Aside from the product itself, Impact Radius' client support has been very helpful and patient in all our queries. Response is quick and a solution is always ready.
Some display functionalities like report overviews and graphs do not appear in Firefox. I think it would be nice if it will be flexible to any browser available. I hope Impact report sections, especially under Partner, could have filter options. Right now, it's either ALL is selected or we have to tick specific partners. Overall, it would be helpful if reports and product catalog ads could have filter options like contains, equals, and does not contain.
Affiliate Partner consolidation was done through Impact Radius. Reach outs and Content Management are also done through this platform. IR has a big scope compared to other Affiliate platforms that we've tried in the past.
The impact team is always first to make updates that better suits the needs of advertisers and publishers
i would love to have a publisher development team, weekly updates on new/exciting parnterships in the space and any news to the affiliate world in general
none at the moment but i hope to integrate the customer journey analytics
The interface, custom report builder, flexible contract creation and the ability to connect with partners.
Invoice structure can be difficult at times.
Driving strong ROI for our advertisers via connecting them to a unique and wide range of partners.
By far the Customer Service is fantastic, one of the best out there. They are open to listening and trying to resolve any issues I had at start. I was new to the format and they send helpful "HOW TO's" and within minutes I was on my way to applying to vendors. They follow up just to make sure that things are going well.
Honestly found it frustrating to have to SEARCH BAR for "My Brands" page, adding a "My Brands" link and a Customer Service contact on the account member page would be nice. Also maybe better descriptions on the declines (not so vague). I would like some of these affiliates to explain what they need in traffic? We have collectively over 20K visitors a month and we still get declined for "too little traffic".
I am able to offer brands that I would not have direct contact with being a small business. I like the fact that I can offer products and services to my readers and generate some revenue for doing so.
I really like the customization of reports and details that are able to be gathered from them. Numbers and data are very important to a lot of our clients so it's important to track KPIs efficiently & accurately.
The newsletter feature is a little dated. It would be nice to get more customization and user-friendly features so that we can send out great messages to affiliates.
We are able to save time sending reports out to our clients using Impact's features.
I like the customization of the platform because it gives me exactly what I am looking for. If there is something that the platform doesn't have that you need, the Impact customer support team will make sure to pass it along to their tech team to get it created for you.
That the report descriptions are in layman's terms. It makes it hard to branch out from the 2-3 reports that you are used to pulling.
Impact helps us with reporting needs.
I like how Impact invests in its technology
I wish we had additional local support in Chicago.
Partnership Management
Cross-channel analytics, dynamic commissioning
- Include more partners in marketplace - Provide more actionable partner insights. - Cannot customize report timeframe on dashboard
- Reduced commission rate with dynamic commissioning (adjust payouts based on sku, channel, location, etc.)
The most helpful function for me is the reporting dashboard - being able to quickly get campaign data for clients
I seem to have trouble logging in, where I'll get logged out and redirected and have to sign in multiple times quite frequently
Leapfrog analysis is huge for us in being able to optimize our partnerships
I love that Impact allows me to be able to find advertising channels all in one place. I love that they also allow me to pick and choose who I would like to work with by keeping it simple in the market place. With this their data that they provide helps me personally figure out everything that I need. Overall, everything so far with Impact has been good and I look forward to being able to use them everyday.
The thing that I dislike about Impact would have to be the learning curve that it takes to learn their system. It took me a few weeks to get into the know the most about Impact, but once I figured it out it was well worth it!
The problems that I am solving with Impact are being able to find new outlets to work with and getting more traffic to look at our web page. This benefits the company I work for by allow us to have more people looking at our page that allows for more chances at sales.
I love the ease of use, very intuitive and it has everything there so you can sign and launch an affiliate within minutes and with minimal back and forth.
Their reporting could be much better and things that would think very obvious (example how to match clickid with order id) is missing.
Contract repository, partner management, tracking, payment.
You can customize specific reports and send certain clients a timely report (weekly, monthly, etc)
-Lag in data (2+ delay) -When choosing dates (specifically in a previous year like 2018), it skips ahead to the following year sometimes
Custom reports for specific clients help tailor their needs
The ability to manage campaigns/partners in an all-in-one platform.
The reporting could be better. With many advancements in reporting APIs and connectors, it would be good to have that type of reporting capability with Impact.
Seamless Affiliate partner management and affiliate metrics reporting.
Impact makes it very simple to create links, easy to find new advetisers to work with to promote their products. Also i have received several contacts from Impact asking for improvements, what i like, about sales & specials certain companies have that i post for.
I wish there was a bookmarklet that i could click on my bookmarks that recognizes my relationships with sellers and creates the link quicker without me manually having to enter anything. Would make posting quicker and more efficient.
After playing around with Impact and figuring out how to create links, look up deals ect it was very simple to do so. If i have questions its a simple click for a contact for solving questions that i have :)
