The chat is a bit slow and sometimes from a chat there may not be a fully understanding
I am new to InEvent so my problems were with setting the event and the assistance was good, it helped me.
White-label capabilities and speed-networking function are a plus in our digital world. Learning curve as steep as the platform capabilities to go deep in configuration.
It might look like the tool to solve all your problems, but you should not forget to be accompanied by experts on both the platform and content. (This is generally true about any event platforms)
Our clients at EPEAK Studio manage to deliver their digital events within the scope, budget and branding requirement they need on InEvent platform. The customization capabilities are a great addition for corporate needs.
- The most helpful about InEvent is the direct support of Grace. - The features I appreciate the most are: the different room modes, the networking possibilities, the app, the analytics etc.
The things I dislike: - The issue reporting with different people taking care of 1 issue, resulting in inaccurate problem solving. - The different marketing managers contacting us regarding the same thing.
In the past we were only able to offer our client a straightforward (multilingual) meeting platform. Thanks to the partnership with InEvent, we can now offer our clients an all-round meeting and event platform.

There are some features that I expected to be able to use in my website set-up that the developers will need to work on in the future.
I'm using InEvent for an online series. I like how flexible and nuanced the registration form is.
This is an all in package that provided decent styling out of the box, to take it to the next level you do need some CSS knowledge but this is not so hard to learn.
There is no way to change HTML or create some custom pages
Having a hosting platform which is available around the world and having control over every individual session on an event level and also per session
The back end of the build was easy enough, and we like the end-users view as well. It had all the features we were after regarding analytics, clean look, communication pieces, and engagement from the end-users. We also like that we can copy events, so the build-out is easier on our end, and we also enjoy the chat feature within the platform to chat with their team and get a quick answer/help with the build process.
While not a downside for us, but it is all self-build. Which again, was not a problem for us as we were able to customize to our liking - but to learn the system for a short stand-alone event might not be worth it for some. That being said, it is easy to use the back-end systems once you get the hang of it!
We solved being able to produce one-day stand-alone events to replace our (pre-COVID) well-attended multi-day events and make up the revenue that would have otherwise been lost and our stakeholders going elsewhere for content. We also were able to keep our sponsors happy as well and get them additional exposure. Benefits = great analytics on users so we can build better events moving forward. Also being able to copy events over and over makes the time spent build less and less!
The in-built features, customization possibilities and a very helpful FAQ that gives very good answers and examples for best practices.
No major disadvantages encountered as of yet since the customization possibilites seem really good.

I love the ability to queue sessions and have them available in the lobby while a user is watching them.
No contrast in colors on the UX. This is important to see the difference between what's highlighted/selected in ACTIVITIES.
