We have been expanding year after year and Inflow has helped keep track of Purchase orders, customer orders, and inventory. Cycle counts have become more accurate and that's what I enjoy the most about Inflow.
The only thing I dislike, the app sometimes glitches when trying to scan an item to pick. When I have adjusted stock at the end of a pick, the app sometimes adjusts the stock twice removing twice the inventory. To be clear this is with the mobile app and the android phones seem to have the most issues.
The problem I was having, was keeping track of inventory accurately. Creating reorder points on stocks has helped me solve some of the supply chain issues curently experiencing in the country.
Ease of use, ease of learning how to use it. Visually simple and well designed, so data is easy to read and find. Customer service is responsive, personable, and knowledgeable.
I would love to see a more robust search feature in the showroom, where you can filter by multiple fields.
I am using the program as a digital library of products options from our vendors that our company does not yet sell, but potentially could sell. I am acutally not using the ordering portion of the program. I love that it is sortable and I can upload multiple areas of data to search by various attributes of these products, like color or product type.
easy to see inventory in all places, easy to create sales orders, purchase orders, inventory transfers
expensive, but cheaper options aren't as good and don't provide good reports
inventory quantity. easy to see how much we have with one click instead of asking warehouse team to count each time
I explore free trial and found that it has a complete feature of order management and inventory management. Addition to this reporting feature is good as well. Also has a ability to use CSV files to create spreadsheets is also an amazing feature.
As a free trial user I am using this with all availble feature but as a technical side I couldn't find any thing related to dabase structure and couldn't able to extract DB as well. This is the only thing i dislike about this feature.
I explore this for my business and manage my inventory and orders very smoothly, and I plan to buy the license. After the cost-benefit analysis, I will use the paid version.
We are able to manage inventory, with reminders when items are getting low, so we don't have to walk the warehouse with clipboards.
It took us a while to get one report to look the way that we needed to.
We are able to almost instantaneously look up a customer's account to see when and what they purchased, as well as how much is owing.
Reorder point remaining The Webinair the adjusted stock The reports
the automatical recv. location on the PO
The reodering and the reports are fastly solving
The ease of use for basic needs, the ability to create professional looking Purchase Orders.
the backup feature and multiple users can get complicated.
track purchases and send POs.
you can keep track f inventory, purchase orders, modify items, and generate reports of sales, salesperson, product, statistics.. the possibilities are endless with this tool.
sometimes the software crashes... is very annoying but there's nothing perfect.
Furniture store sales became much easy with this tool because in this industry you need to be detailed in the finishes and this tool lets you customize items right in the invoices or orders and immediately check if is available or if is not you can make a purchase order to vendors right away.
I found this very easy to install and to start navigating. The software is self guiding and easy to learn.
Nothing so far, I am a new user and I am still learning and experimentin with the many reports available.
Allowing us to fulfill internal technician sales orders while keeping track of masterl stock levels.
Simple intuitive cloud based program that lets you order and monitor inventory from almost anywhere.
Not much to dislike, may not scale for some people, but it is directed towards small business.
Order and inventory management.
Easy to use and good report function, however it is very limited in connecting to outside software.
No API access whatsoever and extremely limited integrations. Another difficult part of using inflow is that if the inflow servers go down, your entire system does too. This occurred sporadically over the years and we hope it doesn't happen again for the long term as it is extremely disruptive. Another issue is even though we paid for many licenses years ago, we can no longer update our software as inflow is telling us we must purchase another license to do so.
Tracking inventory, we have realized that inflow is very limited in the various years we have been using this system. With no API access and limited integrations, we cannot grow our business much using inflow.
We have been using the standalone version of InFlow for many years. Quite easy to use, great support staff via their live chat on the inflow website while the maintenance plan is active, even though sadly technical support over the phone isn't offered.
The integrations to make labels is a very complicated for my fellow colleagues. Sometimes it doesn't log in easily and we had to purchase quite a few licenses when we first started up with inflow because it cannot be used in more than one pc at a time, now that years have passed and we don't need so many concurrent users we are sadly stuck with all these extra users that we paid extra for no reason. We also are looking for reasons to switch to another company as inflow does not offer much support after the maintenance period has departed and we had to constantly pay extra to renew a maintenance plan to receive support.
We are solving a matter of inventory to our business with inflow, that is a very tedious process as sadly inflow also offers no API access either so alot of this inventory maintenance is very MANUAL. With no API access and limited integrations to our online marketplaces Inflow has been limiting to our company in its capabilities and what it can do. Connecting the API connections to certain marketplaces allowing data to flow to and from it would be a great system, but without it, it is very limited in what we can and cannot do with it
InFlow makes it easy to track inventory. I know exactly what we have on hand. InFlow Purchasing is a simple way to send and receive orders.
I can't edit a product type once a product is created.
I now have all purchase orders in one location. I can easily track back order items at a glance. It saves me time and is hassle-free.
The delicious icing on the cake for the reason why I would highly recommend inFlow is their staff and excellent customer service. Starting out with their services you gain one-on-one assistance to help you get your feet with the program and answer any questions you might have to make their product work for your business. Continually, if I ever have a question I can chat or call and am able to reach a very helpful and pleasant person immediately. It has always been a nice experience communicating with any of their staff members. I also appreciate their monthly live webinars about their product and services.
Toughy. Perhaps more info in the inFlow app that I can only see currently using the Cloud-based version on my desktop computer. I only say this because I was trying to find movement history of a product while out and about on-the-go recently and couldn't find that in the app version that I was using on my phone. No biggie tho.
They are expanding access to Count Sheets for app users, I believe this option is only available on the cloud version currently. Through the monthly webinars I have noticed other users ask if a feature is available, and if it is not the answer is NORMALLY that something is in the works to make it available in the future already.
I love the simplicity of inflow. I run a business with 32 customers and 2800 products. It's not only easy for me, but the showroom aspect for my customers is a great asset. It keeps accurate count of my inventory and allows me to do a monthly inventory in just a few hours. It gives me real time information and helps with the ease or ordering.
I haven't discovered anything in my 3+ years of using inflow that has been a hindrance that I can't get around.
It makes seeing inventory levels and reordering a breeze. It's real time inventory.
My favorite feature is the integration with our Woocommerce store. It accurately pushes inventory levels.
There is no way to export your forms to Excel/Word. You have to print these forms as a PDF and then convert if those formats are needed.
The purchase orders are easy to set up and customize. This helped us streamline our production and manufacturing processes.
We love the ability to make INFLOW "our own". The ability to add custom fields has been a deal-breaker for us. The reporting is a great feature also, with the ability to use CSV files to create our own spreadsheets.
The only thing I struggle with is the fact that once one item is "packed out" if you print or email the order, it converts to an INVOICE. We have to be super aware of this and sometimes have invoices on the books for incomplete orders.
INVENTORY analysis is great.
The flexibility and customization of Inflow are wonderful. Being able to accomplish tasks from out on the road is critical as a salesman. Having up-to-date inventory numbers are great when assuring a customer that their order can be taken care of promptly.
The only negative thing I have to say about Inflow is that there can be a lag when communicating with the Cloud. When updating inventory figures, the system can be tied up for 30-40 seconds while updating. It isn't a terrible inconvenience, except when a customer is standing in front of you waiting on a response.
Inflow Inventory is allowing my branch to have complete control over our inventory dollars. Keeping that number down is crucial to a business to enable us to utilize our funds to grow our business.
The ability to a serialized inventory system, easy invoicing, easy monitoring of item status
Inability to produce A/R and A/P Detailed Report
We can easily identify the profit on a unit per unit basis. We can identify the locations of the units and the number of units available.
Inflow allows us to keep track of our inventory, BOMs, sales orders and quotes, cash flow and so much more with ease. The reports are easy to run and configure specifically to your needs. There is the ability to customize the way you process the materials in your inventory and setup was a dream. My favorite feature is the ability to change something in the WO section, but not in the BOM, like for a custom setup. It is also great that if you make a change to the BOM, it doesn't change every work order already completed which is something our old system did. Also, the ability to have multiple tabs open and easily get from one section to the next is amazing. Finally, the ease to use the program after your initial setup is great. There isn't a huge learning curve as the system is very user-friendly and customer service with Inflow is great if you get stuck.
We would like the ability to permanently remove items that are no longer available and not just deactivate them. Also maybe a way to create a note that pops up on either a WO or PO that has maybe information that we need to double-check. For the most part, there really isn't anything that we dislike about the software.
The ability to actually see what we need to order, especially in the work order section. The indicators that are used to show if an item is missing and needs to be ordered, is ordered but hasn't arrived yet, or if actually in stock and the entire WO is completed and ready to begin to be built is great. This makes it a dream for purchasing.
