"Ironclad is invaluable to me in keeping track of documents"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Keeps things in cronological order which is important to me. Eliminates many of the tasks I need to get a contract signed.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

In some cases documents are sent out then need to be cancelled and resent. If there was a seperate column or if cancelled workflows were a different color, that would help.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

i'm disorganized myself, so it helps me stay on track of workflows.

"Great tool that is getting better all the time"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

The user interface and UX design are top-notch. It has made the user adoption journey as easy as possible which has made all the difference in identifying immediate impact on the business. The flexibility, the templates, the playbooks, the ease of interface and the metrics tracking are all excellent.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

There is no user-admin role, only a full administrator role. This means that any employee with the credentials to on- and off-board users can also access workflow designer and the entire contract library. We are rolling this tool out on an enterprise basis and typically for enterprise tools we contract to a third party to handle setting up the SSO and platform onboarding. However, that is too much of a security risk without a limited administrator role that only handles people and can't access the substance of what is on the platform. I am sure this will be solved in the future, but for now, having to manually onboard users has slowed our rollout.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are automating contracting, driving more transactions to our company paper, and making the coordination across the legal department, the sales department, and the sourcing department more seamless. We are also standardizing risk tolerance and creating self-service playbooks that are improving velocity in our BAU transactions and helping to drive growth.

"Solid CLM Solution"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Ease of Use, Customer Service, General Functionality - very user-friendly. The product team and development teams are highly responsive and listen to their customer's needs. I've never met someone that I don't like who works for Ironclad! Automatic email notifications on process step completion and preprogrammed approval steps are key tools; Activity Feed is a key internal negotiation tool. New Clause Library Playbook feature is a great way to allow our business teams a degree of independence before needing legal feedback.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

Workflow address gets filtered to spam which causes our counterparties to sometimes miss communications, and it is currently not possible to insert formatted/bulleted text or tables into the template draft intake, it must be done manually after launch. No date notification settings on active workflows (due dates, etc). Some of the search functionality could be improved.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ironclad has solved a number of productivity and communication challenges by providing a consistent platform with full transparency and has allowed us scalability of the process along the way. Our process time for agreements, from draft to full execution, has been reduced drastically in the last two years. Additionally, it has provided us with clear data to review and report on regarding contract processes, which has allowed us to make informed and productive process decisions. It has allowed our legal team to have overall visibility and manage risk appropriately while allowing our business to move fast and unimpeded.

"Excellent CLM System"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I have been using Ironclad for a little over a year now, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. It has streamlined the automation of our contract processes, making them more efficient and reliable. Implementing Ironclad was a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly interface and comprehensive support. The customer support team has consistently impressed me with their quick responses and assistance, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Not only does Ironclad make my job easier, but it has also garnered praise from our business owners for its ease of use. It's a game-changer for our contract management needs.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

While Ironclad is a robust legal contract management system, there are some features I feel are missing , although I understand that no system is 100% perfect. For example, the turn tracking feature, and the limitations of only showing Internal v. Counterparty, I wish Internal would be expanded to be able to select which internal department the contract is currently with. This is not a deal breaker, but it would make pulling metrics for contracts a little easier for me. Overall, while Ironclad has its strengths, there's always room for improvement to better suit our specific needs.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ironclad has been a game-changer for our organization, effectively solving several problems we used to face. It has seamlessly automated our contract workflow, making the process more efficient and reliable. What's even more impressive is that it has consolidated all our contracts into one centralized platform, eliminating the chaos of scattered contracts in various inboxes. Ironclad has become our one source of truth for contract management, simplifying collaboration, ensuring transparency, and enhancing our overall productivity.

What do you like best about Ironclad?

What I like most about Ironclad is the ease of use and simple design. Creating workflows is very simple and fast and managing ironclad contract is simple and fast.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

One thing that I would love that Ironclad improve is their views - I would love to be able to add a Kanban board for ease of use with sales teams and quick glances.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ironclad is solving for our company the issue of version contral and centralized place for all contracts. It helps us with one shop stop for our sales and allows legal to focus on the important stuff while enabling automations.

"We can agree on Ironclad"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Ironclad links to our internal operating system which allows for a seamless transfer of vital information, which can then be edited and sent to the necessary parties. Beyond this, is the ability to easily find completed agreements, even if they are from years ago.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

I think the information taken from our source system could provide more options to auto-fill information, but this is negligible, to be honest. The vital info seems to all be added and what is left, may not exist within our system and need to be added manually.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to locate documents from previous years easily. Before this, we often had to hunt these down and look through emails of former employees for context.

"Easy to use"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

It is very easy to use. User friendly and you won't get lost inside the system. I also like that Ironclad shows the history of all actions being done in the workflow.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

Nothing much! Maybe just a trivial item which is the size of the signature - I hope it can be automatically adjusted.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ironclad automated the online signing in the company and it acts as a very effective database of all of our contracts. The repository functionality comes in handy if I need to revisit a contract.

"CaptivateIQ streamlined its contract lifecycle process by implementing Ironclad."
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Ironclad has made their implementation processes user friendly, and where we did get stuck, we were able to lean on its skilled customer experience team to help us find a solution. Ironclad is a dynamic tool that puts a lot of power in its customers' hands to build its workflows the way that works for each customer. I've been pleased with all of the features and functionalities it has to offer.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

I haven't found too many dislikes or downsides, other than a very specific issue with a particular API integration we are trying to implement and some errors that I frequently get when trying to use the Preview tool in workflows that utilize Tables.

What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ironclad is streamlining our contract life cycle management and ensuring we are using consistent terms across our team. It's also reducing the number of errors/mistakes we'd see in contracts when they were built manually.
