Kittl’s top plan advertises “30,000 AI Tokens per month”. The line underneath reads “12,000 monthly + 600 daily” — and 600 a day only accrues on days you actually use it. So 12,000 tokens are guaranteed and 18,000 are conditional on logging in all thirty days. The same structure applies to the Expert plan, where half the advertised total is daily drip. Kittl discloses the split honestly, in smaller type directly beneath the headline; it is just easy to read past.
- What it is: An AI-first design platform — templates, mockups, image and video generation.
- Best for: Daily designers, who are the only ones who get the advertised token count.
- Pricing: Free, then €12, €26 or €48 a month billed annually. Verified July 2026.
- The honest catch: The free plan has no commercial licence.
What Is Kittl?
Kittl is a browser-based design platform built around AI generation. Alongside the usual editor, templates and mockups, it wires in a catalogue of third-party image and video models — Flux, Seedream, Nano Banana, Ideogram, Krea, Recraft, Veo, Kling, Seedance — and meters them through a single AI token balance. Paid plans add unlimited basic images via Flux Schnell, unlimited projects, high-resolution and vector exports, and a commercial licence. The company claims 10 million+ creatives.
Note the second line under each token figure.
How Kittl Works
- Four plans, priced per editor.
- Tokens meter AI, not features.
- Daily allowances inflate the headline.
- Free plan has no commercial licence.
- Unlimited Flux Schnell on all paid plans.
- Extra tokens purchasable from Expert up.

What actually decides your cost:
- The headline token figure counts tokens you may never receive. Max advertises “30,000 AI Tokens per month” and immediately clarifies: “12,000 monthly + 600 daily”. Twelve thousand land in your account; the other eighteen thousand arrive at 600 a day, only on days you show up. Expert is the same shape — “12,000 AI Tokens per month” resolving to “6,000 monthly + 200 daily”. Use Kittl ten days in a month rather than thirty and Max delivers 18,000 tokens, not 30,000. Kittl does print the split under every headline, which is more than many vendors manage, but the number on the card is a best case.
- Pro is the only paid plan whose advertised tokens are entirely guaranteed. Its line reads “2,000 monthly + 0 daily” — no drip, no conditions. That makes it the plan to compare against if your usage is bursty: a designer who works in concentrated sessions a few days a week gets 100% of Pro’s tokens but only 50% of Expert’s advertised total and 40% of Max’s.
- On guaranteed tokens the tiers barely improve per euro; on advertised tokens they look transformative. At annual rates, the guaranteed pool costs €6.00 per 1,000 tokens on Pro, €4.33 on Expert and €4.00 on Max — a modest slide. Measured against the advertised totals it reads €6.00, €2.17 and €1.60, which is nearly a fourfold improvement. Both calculations are correct; which one applies to you depends entirely on whether you open Kittl every day.
- The annual discount is real but uneven, and the badge is in the wrong currency. The toggle promises “save up to $200” while every price on the page is in euros. On the actual figures, annual billing saves €36 on Pro (20.0%), €108 on Expert (25.7%) and €204 on Max (26.2%). So the largest genuine saving is €204, and the entry paid plan gets a materially worse deal than the two above it — worth knowing if you were assuming a flat discount.
- Pricing is per editor, which changes the maths for teams. Every plan is quoted ”/ month per editor”. A three-person studio on Expert is €78 a month, not €26. Nothing on the pricing page suggests a team discount, so seats scale linearly and the token allowances are presumably per seat too — confirm that before sizing a team plan.
- Tokens buy wildly different amounts depending on which model you pick. Kittl publishes a per-model table, and the spread is large. On Pro’s 2,000 tokens: roughly 1,000 images from Flux.2 klein, 200 from Nano Banana, 125 from Seedream 5.0 Pro, 80 from Ideogram 4 Quality and 57 from Flux.2 Pro HD. That is a 17-fold range on the same plan. Video is dearer still — Expert’s allowance is quoted as around 42 Seedance 2.0 videos or 16 Kling 3.0 4K videos. Your effective allowance is a function of taste, not just tier.
- The free plan cannot be used commercially. Commercial Licence appears on Pro, Expert and Max but not on Free, which offers 200 one-time tokens, 5 projects and 1M assets. So the free tier is an evaluation, not a working plan — anything you sell, print or use for a client requires at least €12 a month. Max additionally lists an extended commercial licence for client work and advanced distribution.
- Only the upper two plans let you buy more tokens. “Purchase Extra AI Tokens” is listed on Expert and Max, not on Pro. If you exhaust Pro’s 2,000 tokens mid-month your options are to wait or upgrade — you cannot top up. Kittl does not publish the price of extra tokens anywhere on the pricing page, so the cost of overage is unknown until you are inside the product.
Who Should Use Kittl
- Designers who work daily. The clearest case — only daily use realises the advertised token counts.
- Print-on-demand and merch sellers. Templates, mockups and a commercial licence from €12.
- Heavy AI image users. Max’s 12,000 guaranteed tokens plus purchasable top-ups.
- Anyone testing the models. 200 free tokens, no card, before committing.
It fits poorly for bursty or occasional users, who receive a fraction of the advertised tokens; for teams, since pricing is per editor with no visible discount; and for anyone needing commercial rights on a free plan.
Honest Pros and Cons
Strengths

- Unlimited Flux Schnell images on all paid plans.
- A genuine free tier with 200 tokens and no card.
- Commercial licence from €12 a month.
- Per-model token table published, so allowances are checkable.
- Unlimited projects and version history on paid plans.
Limitations
- 60% of Max’s advertised tokens depend on daily logins.
- Savings badge is in dollars on a euro price list.
- Pro gets a 20% annual discount against 26% on Max.
- Per-editor pricing, no visible team discount.
- No commercial licence on Free.
- Extra tokens unavailable on Pro, and unpriced everywhere.
Kittl Alternatives and How It Compares
- Visme covers presentations, infographics and branded documents.
- Canva is the mass-market alternative with a far larger template library.
- Adobe Express bundles Firefly generation with Creative Cloud assets.
- Recraft and Ideogram sell direct access to models Kittl resells through tokens.
- Figma suits interface work rather than print and merch design.

The Verdict
Kittl is a capable AI design platform with a pricing model that rewards one specific behaviour: showing up every day. The top plan advertises “30,000 AI Tokens per month”, and the line beneath resolves it as “12,000 monthly + 600 daily”. Twelve thousand tokens are yours; the remaining eighteen thousand accrue at 600 a day and only on days you use the product. Expert works the same way — an advertised 12,000 that is really 6,000 plus 200 a day. Credit where it is due: Kittl prints this split directly under every headline, which is more transparency than most metered products offer. But the number a buyer remembers is the big one, and for anyone who designs in bursts it is not the number they will get.
That makes the plan comparison unusually dependent on your working pattern. Pro at €12 a month is the only paid tier with no daily component — “2,000 monthly + 0 daily” — so a designer working three days a week receives 100% of Pro’s tokens, 50% of Expert’s advertised total and 40% of Max’s. Run the per-euro maths on guaranteed tokens only and the tiers barely separate: €6.00, €4.33 and €4.00 per 1,000. Run it on the advertised figures and they look transformative: €6.00, €2.17 and €1.60. Both are arithmetically correct. Only your calendar decides which applies.
What tokens actually buy varies more than the tier does. Kittl publishes a per-model table, and on Pro’s 2,000 tokens the range runs from roughly 1,000 images with Flux.2 klein down to 57 with Flux.2 Pro HD — a 17-fold spread on one plan. Video is dearer again. That table is genuinely useful and worth reading before you choose a tier, because switching your default model changes your effective allowance far more than upgrading does. Note too that only Expert and Max can buy extra tokens, and Kittl does not publish what they cost.
Two smaller things to check. The annual toggle advertises “save up to $200” in dollars on a page priced in euros; the real savings are €36, €108 and €204, meaning Pro gets 20% off while Max gets 26.2% — the entry paid plan is the worst annual deal. And everything is priced per editor, so a three-person studio on Expert pays €78 a month with no team discount visible. Start on the free tier to test the models, but treat it as evaluation only: there is no commercial licence below €12 a month, so anything you intend to sell requires a paid plan.
FAQ
How much does Kittl cost?
Four tiers, in euros as served to our location in July 2026. Free €0, Pro €15 a month or €12 billed annually, Expert €35 or €26, and Max €65 or €48 — all quoted per editor. Annual billing works out at €144, €312 and €576 a year, saving €36, €108 and €204 respectively.
What are Kittl AI tokens and how many do you actually get?
Tokens meter AI image and video generation. The advertised figures bundle two allowances: Pro is “2,000 monthly + 0 daily”, Expert “6,000 monthly + 200 daily” (headlined as 12,000) and Max “12,000 monthly + 600 daily” (headlined as 30,000). The daily portion only accrues on days you use Kittl, so 50% of Expert’s and 60% of Max’s advertised total is conditional on logging in every day.
Is Kittl’s free plan good enough to use?
For evaluation, yes; for work, no. Free gives 200 one-time tokens — around 100 premium images or 6 premium videos — 5 projects, 10,000+ templates and 1M assets, with no credit card required. But the commercial licence starts on Pro, so anything you sell, print or produce for a client needs at least €12 a month.
How much does Kittl’s annual plan actually save?
Not the same amount on every tier. Against monthly rates, annual billing saves €36 on Pro (20.0%), €108 on Expert (25.7%) and €204 on Max (26.2%). The toggle’s “save up to $200” badge is denominated in dollars although the page prices in euros; the largest genuine saving we measured was €204, on Max.
How many images can I generate with a Kittl plan?
It depends heavily on the model. On Pro’s 2,000 tokens, Kittl’s own table indicates roughly 1,000 images from Flux.2 klein, 200 from Nano Banana, 125 from Seedream 5.0 Pro, 80 from Ideogram 4 Quality and 57 from Flux.2 Pro HD — a seventeenfold spread. All paid plans also include unlimited basic images through Flux Schnell, which do not consume tokens.
I love the ability to take text and be able to add/change many attributes that the competition does not. Kitl can be used as a professional tool to create vector images that require no additional changes to send to a printer or POD company. Most things can be much faster than in Illustrator. They recently added a bunch of extremely useful AI tools such as AI vectorizer and generator. Also an amazing logo generation tool that gives great "out of the box" ideas.
The only negative issues that I had in the beginning is they had limited assets to work with, but I cannot really complain about that any longer as they are now adding them regularly.
Kittl helps greatly with T-Shirt design, label design, and logo design. It is the easiest tool I have found to quickly make something vintage, classic, tattoo-like, etc. If I was to get a tattoo, I would probably design it in Kittl and take it to the shop. A great tool for creating logos.
I like that it has a variety of different templates to choose from. Also editble premade designs with lots of edit options to change colors. Also they just added an AI feature that is nice.
Trying to move just 1 layer that might be a small object and will grab something else and move it even though you don't have that layer selected.
When i have trouble getting design ideas i look through their templates and usually ill see something close to whatI was thinking about.

Kittl's service is excellent, allowing me to develop professional and unique designs for the rebublle page. It is simple to use, has numerous settings, and adapts to my need. Nothing is to be explained all about Kittl.
It is helpful for me to creat any product I want.
I was in search of user-friendly logo design software that would enable me to quickly grasp its interface and create stunning logos. Kittl proved to be a valuable resource in fulfilling this need!
No, I didn't have any disliking about the software.
In my view, Kittl addresses a fundamental graphic design challenge that nearly everyone encounters at some point in their lives, whether it involves creating logos, flyers, posters, and more.
I am very satisfied with Kittl's service, which allows me to create professional and original designs for the rebublle page. It is very easy to use, has many options and adapts to my needs. I like that it's paid, because then I can access more resources and personalize my brand. Kittl is a unique and quality tool that I recommend to everyone who wants to improve their online presence.
I would like more credits available and more options to use with intelligence, they seem very few to me
I don't know anything about making designs and this program has helped me a lot with my problem
KITTl impresses with its ability to generate images from textual input. By drawing on its vast knowledge base, KITTl produces contextually rich and accurate visual representations, making it a valuable asset for various creative endeavors, from art and design to content creation.
I honestly believe the app couldn't be better. It is at the forefront of the AI Image Generating market.
I normally like to use Kittl to help me generate images so that I may use them to promote products online for a commission. The images are fantastic and to the point so really help me to sell the product.
Kittl is most helpful because the platform is easy to use, even for beginners. There are many categories, template options, elements, and fonts to choose from. Kittl is affordable and can help enhance your creativity.
Sometimes, certain templates are challenging to edit. Some features that would be helpful are not available and AI at times produces flawed images. The good thing is, it's only one credit for each try.
Kittl has made creating designs for Print on Demand easier and affordable. If you want to be creative and work on your own projects, Kittl is a great option. I'm a new user, so I haven't seen the performance of my POD designs increase as of yet.
It is a platform that has many resources even in itself free unversion. With it I managed to optimize the production times of my designs. Easy to learn and use. I did some research to choose the best platform and in terms of resources kittl was the best in many aspects
So far it has been very useful for me and the only thing that could be a bit restricted are the credits that if you do not have a contracted plan it may seem few to work
I have optimized my production time and the quality of the images. I can make a larger list of products with the production speeds that kittl gives me. my business is starting and it has been a fast start which was what i expected
THE MOST THING I LIKE THE MOST IS THAT KITTL LET ME BE AS CREATIVE AS I WANT
THE KITTLE APP IS DOING A GOOD JOB. ONLY THING I DISLIKE IS THE PRICE AND CREDITS.
KITTL SOLVE SOLVE A HUGH PROBLEM WITH MY BUSINESS IT HELP ME CUT OUT THE MIDDLE MAN AND KNOW CAN DO ALL MY OWN DESIGNS AND MOCK UPS
ease of creating designs without being professionally trained or experienced. It's ideal for print on demand sellers and people who design quite often. It's quite decent compared to most tools for the usecase
lack of versatility. It's a good plaform not not as feature rich as canva. It's decent. Their licensing permissions isn't as transparent as it should be but generally once you go through it well it'll make more sense
creating prints and designs , really good ones fast. Design POD isn't my strongest and AI licensed creations help quite a bit. Most tools you have to do it from scratch, they're most convenient to use
