The free tier and their startup programme make it really easy to get up and running with analytics without the fear for spending money your startup probably doesn't yet have.

It took my team a while to figure out what type of product-level events were the best to be sending to mixpanel. This isn't really mixpanels fault though.

Mixpanel is helping my startup better understand how customers are using our app so that we can make changes to our features and measure the impact of those changes at the product level.

So we have used Mixpanel for a little more than 3 years now, and Mixpanel helps getting the overview of our platform. It is amazing how you can structure all this data, and make it into beautiful graphs. We have even used it in presentations for our customers.

It can be quite overwhelming to start with, but in the end, you end up with beautiful results.

Mixpanel is where we sort our data, and make it digistiveable. We track behavior across the platform, and mixpanel help us with the great overview of our platform.

I recently had the opportunity to use Mixpanel for our analytics needs, and I'm thoroughly impressed by both the platform and the support team. A touch more expensive then I would want, but worth it.

We need to know how our customers use our product, how they move through our sales funnel. What parts are sticky and where we fail them.

As a project manager, I have used Mixpanel that is a comprehensive tool that is centered on tracking events and user profiles. The dashboard offers a very intuitive interface that includes a graphical viewer that presents complex data in easy-to-read form. This has been useful in mobile app analysis, especially in heat map illustrations showing users interactions.

We’ve had a few instances where server-side integration protocol seemed lagging, which slightly affected the operations tempo. Furthermore, some parts of the documentation feel a little outdated, and some sections of it have proven to be confusing, and I needed tech support to go around those few confusing aspects.

With the help of Mixpanel, we are able to identify and understand the important user behaviors that directly guide our product development strategies.

Their focus on analytics and analytics only. Their user experience is top notch. Mixpanel team supported us in each step during the integration process. I use mixpanel daily with my queries ranging from 100 - 500.

Becuase of their single focus on analytics, we have to depend on other tools as well. For A/B testing etc.

Additionally, while the integrations are generally good, there can be occasional glitches or limitations in compatibility with other tools, which sometimes requires workarounds. These aspects, though manageable, are areas where Mixpanel could improve to enhance the overall user experience.

Great way to visualize user data and look at ways our users intereact with our app

It is a good tool to understand the user sagment and don't find anything which is not suitable

We are in phase of understanding our users and it help in DAU, WAU and MAU segment for both app and web.

Mixpanel is an excellent tool that gives us insights about our product (both app as well as web). It helps us better understand our users by carefully identifying their behaviour through the means of conversion funnels, and retention cohorts. It helps us make our product more user friendly by bridging the gaps that we identify after analysing user segments.

Their support team is not very proactive and usually takes more than 48 hours to reply which does not serve the purpose. Also, the tool is a bit complex to use and the onboarding videos are not of much help, they must give more self-help material for increased usability.

I use MixPanel daily and several times a day majorly to see the event instrumentation by the data team and relevant events that can be used in Marketing Campaigns. Mixpanel helps us gauge important user metrics and also helps tweak user onboarding flow after analysing their journey and interaction with the app.

Compared to GA, reports are very user friendly

Simplicity of setup and reporting capabilities.

I can't think of anything that I don't like about the software. It does everything I want and need it to.

It allows me to view data and produce reports on in-app events. This is benefitting me by providing valuable insight into product usage that I'm not able to easily gather from Segment.

Mixpanel helps us in understanding the each and every funnel step of an user end to end. It helps us find the steps that are underperforming for us and we can take better constructive decisions based on that.

Reasonable price, great customer support

Nothing to add for now. Some reports are a little slow, but makes sense due to the data to query.

The intuition of use when analyzing my product.

Some core features are disabled for users even paying.

Many product analytic tools offer extremely high price for early startup, but mixpanel offers very fair price and quite similar features with others.

It make every insight preparation like a snap with one condition which is giving it a clean data, which should be our responsiblity in fact.

Mixpanel is updating how the product looks not what the product offers, no new things in graph types or reporting types, even the new AI module it takes too much time comparing with other competitors.

I am a power bi user for almost 5 five year till now, I thought power bi was the easiest tool ever, then I tried Mixpanel, with Mixpanel it was my first time to get introduced to event data and attributes, and actually Mixpanel made it easy to me to learn fast and manipulate the data much faster to get whatever insights I need.

While it's incredibly powerful, Mixpanel can be a bit complex to configure all the options correctly.

The easy to use interface, possibility to add and share different boards. Also retention and funnel reports are very helpful.

Flows report is not very accurate as timing of events is sometimes not correct. Also there should be option to play around with colors of reports.

I keep Mixpanel in an open tab at all times. It's powerful, simple to use and keeps giving me great insights that improve the performance of our platform immensely. I can drill right down into our data and come up with answers to complex problems really quickly

Mixpanel isn't optimised for a mobile experience, but I rarely use it on mobile. In time, it would be nice to see the experience optimised for mobile, but understandable that its not a priority.

With Mixpanel, I'm able to analyse and test UI performance, and quickly point to improvements we can make. Before we started using Mixpanel, everything was just hypothesis, now we have solid data to back up all of our decisions.

It’s really powerful for AB testing. Data quality is surprisingly good. Fast query results when ploting insights. Love the flow charts! Overall it's a very successful product compared to other companies.

Cohort is sometimes confused me. Sometimes we will have duplicate events when doing ab testing. Need a easy way to remove duplicate events for ab testing. On filter we could remove duplicate users

The lack of a real-time reporting tool on the website is the only thing I don't like.
