What do you like best about Mixpanel?

The intuitive interface makes it so easy to learn and pleasing to look at. I appreciate that even the most tech-adverse in our company can build their own dashboards for any metrics they need.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Nothing bad I can say I dislike about MIxpanel. Perhaps something to be improved is allowing reports to be grouped in Folders. We end up with so many after awhile it's hard to keep track of

It helps us understand how users are interacting with our product, which pages can be improved, where the pain points are, and so much more. Most of all it makes it possible for all members of our team to view any metrics they want.

Mixpanel might be a little expensive for small and growing companies. The user interface can not be familiar to non-technical users, but it is still more beautiful than other software and has been improved over time with continuous updates.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Absolutely nothing. It works like a dream. If I can't figure something out--rare--I contact Mixpanel and they help me out. I legitimately want to hire these folks.

What do you like best about Mixpanel?

It has been hugely helpful in motivating how users not only utilize the platform, but where they get stuck and where we should focus more or less. It has helped us to cut off features that people were tied to, but didn't generate the necessary outcomes for the business. Overall, this has been one of the best tools I have used thus far, can only recommend.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

At times it was a bit confusing to use and I have a background in Business Intelligence analytics, also I felt like they could have provided more information on how to assemble events for best results.

Evaluating customer usage of the product. Understanding how features are or are not being utilized. It has made getting to the heart of customer behavior so much faster.

"One of the best analytical tool in the market"
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Simplistic and easy-to-navigate tool, the best part is saving reports and creating funnels and segmentation. Mixpanel is also easy to setup on the website. I haven't tried the AB test feature but will sure use that in future scenarios as well if required.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Pricing is too costly for the events per price other competitors are giving similar features for lower price.

What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

The best part of using Mixpanel is to create funnels of two different pages and understand the conversion rate dropoff of customers.

It's hard to downgrade product if you're on a higher-paying plan. Sometimes you need to do that.

"Very Insightfull BI Tool - Intuitive"
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Mixpanel is very intuitive in its way of showing you how to build a report from scratch. Mixpanel is a powerfull BI tool, and also looking good from a esthetical point of view.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

There ins't really much I dislike in Mixpannel to be honest, maybe bcause I did not build many reports myself and I'm more a huge consumer of reports built from others. The only thing that comes to my mind is the way of saying a report which needs to be duplicated otheriwse you do modify the "public one".

What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mixpanel gathers data which are super helpful when it comes to tak the right decisions, at different levels: why to prioritize a feature more than another, or why to send this email to a customer, or at whihc point we stand from a usage point of you, etc.

"A simple and quick tool to set up to get insight of my product"
What do you like best about Mixpanel?

The tool was really easy to implement, everyone in the company can do his own boards and reports. In a few seconds I can check how my users use my product. The 4 types of report are easy to understand even if I would say that the retention report is a bit harder to understand than the others.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Last time I checked the documentation, I can't remember why, but the documentation was not up to date, so it was not as usefull as it could have been. We are a B2C mobile application, we have our mobile application and a website. Both are tracked via Segment and Mixpanel. I could use to have both product tracking in the same Mixpanel workspace.

What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can see how our users interact with our products, both mobile application and website version. It helps us in our decision to make the right choice based on the user's actions

The Mixpanel website UI was in dire need of an overhaul. I haven't had much of a chance to look at it to confirm whether the limitations have been addressed.

What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Mixpanel has a very extensive documentation and it's easy to learn about the tool and guide the software team, even with little technical background. The usage of the tool is also quite intuitive, making it easy to analyze the data and build dashboards and insightful reports. Retention analysis and conversion funnels are also few clicks away.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Not a problem from Mixpanel, but it does require your own product's knowledge to be able to set it up correctly, as well as understanding when each event should be registered. Mixpanel guide has all the information necessary on that, but applying this might be tricky depending on the software.

What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mixpanel is really allowing us to get to know how our users move throughout our products, understanding key features, issues that arise, and that makes it very easy to focus our energy and attention on improving existing features and fixing bugs quicker,

The documentation is really well thought through. The implementation of mixpanel was very straightforward. It was a few functions we had to call and the data was being collected.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

The report and finding the right data can be abit confusing. I did struggle abit and had to get assistance from a mixpanel expert on upwork to assist me.

What problems is Mixpanel solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were struggling to understand our product analytics, how our users were using our product. Mixpanel was able to provide us with all the insights, we really improved our matrics after we understood what our users were doing on our platform.

Mixpanel helps me to identify that a certain group of users was having trouble using my product. I made changes to the product to make it easier for these users to use. This resulted in an increase in user satisfaction.

It's super flexible. We tried other metric-tracking apps for a long time but eventually ran into issues making them fit our specific needs. Mixpanel just worked!

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Because of the flexibility, you do have a spend a bit more time thinking about how to build your reports and dashboards and making sure they work. I'd like more preconfigured dashboards read to go that can be tweaked.

It's helping us keep track of our unit metrics over time. Things like MRR, ARPU, Churn, Conversion rate, and conversion funnels.

- Great UI - Very good implementation documentation - Easy dashboarding - Good user experience - Slack community channel - Always developing new features (for example Sheets to Mixpanel is a brilliant feature)

- Very slow support even for enterprise customers. Sometimes replies can take 2-3 days and for implementation this becomes very annoying. - No webhooks? We want live webhooks for certain events
