The most helpful thing about glide is the user interface. It is very easy to create apps without coding. We like that it saves a lot of time when developing a project.

Some buttons are not possible to change the place you add them inside the app but the functionality is the important thing most of the time. We would like to use apps offline. That functionality will come soon.

The way of automatizing processes for our organization thanks to the technology that glide uses. We have been able to develop our own solutions. The cost of developing an app with an agency that solves a specific problem is usually very high. Thanks to glide we are able to reduce this costs.

Building new things with Glide is so easy and the product looks beautiful. The team must have put lots of resources in the UI. Learning curve is short - if you've used any sheets, that's all one needs to get started.

I watched 100s of people try to save the app on their home page - somehow, it's never intuitive and if you're building a product for external users, that step could stand in the way of growth. It also doesn't offer SEO, which, again, is only a problem if you're targeting external users and want to be discovered in search.

Glide is making it easy to build beautiful apps with no code. You can use the product to build internal tools. I with Glide and Zapier you can create multi-vendor marketplace. You can build a shop or just a way to display your portfolio. Use cases are endless.

I have used other no-code app builders before -- most are clunky and difficult to use. Glide's UI looks great and everything is easy to use, even for someone like me who cannot code.

Sometimes the apps can take a little while to load but this improves every month. Pages is a brand new product for Glide and has bugs, but again it improves every month.

There is really nothing to dislike about Glide. No solution is perfect. But as far as I'm concerned, they're BEST IN CLASS! If I HAD to give one thing, it'd be the sign-in process. We need to find a better way for people to create logins than PINs.

Al principio puede parecer que los límites son abusivos pero es necesario suscribirse a un plan. Igual me gusta menos que no incluya todo desde el más bajo. En menor cantidad claro.

Restricts database to 25000 rows which can be an issue to scale up the app. While the team has plans to overcome this restriction, there are workarounds to overcome the shortcoming.

Glide is a fantastic option for No-Code app development. As a non-techie founder, it's the best that you can find for quick prototyping or developing a full-scale app. Glide uses regular spreadsheets on the backend which makes it a familiar ground for anyone to understand and removes the challenges associated with building a complex database.

I really like the flexibliity and ease of creating apps. They have an excellent community filled with knowledgable people who are willing to help you figure out how to create your project.

Still needs more functionality like the ability to drag and drop items into a list to be able to sort them. Other than that it is pretty fully featured and enjoyable to use.

It is eassy to setup. Basically you don't need to have much technical background in order to setup an app on Glide, so you don't need to spend much time in creating something useful.

Glide is a fantastic, easy to use app builder. You can just link it to a spreadsheet (Google Sheet, Excel, Airtable or CSV) and convert that static data into a live app. You can then add user roles and logic, in order to show certain things to certain roles, for example. Your apps will always look clean and modern, and are deployed with 1 or 2 clicks.

Glide is not the best tool if you want to have a pixel-perfect, custom-designed app. Another thing that we've struggled with is when our database has over 20k records, Glide apps become slow.

Without coding knowledge but armed with spreadsheet skills, I can create useful tools that appear like an app. Best of all, you can design an app that is very customizable to fit your needs. This is its strength. No one size fits all. Data that I need to display or capture can be added or deleted easily to make my end product function exactly to what I designed. The free templates (still, so easy to customize) do well to not only save some time but can spark ideas on how to use Glide for projects I had not even thought about.

The interface in terms of relation to tabs, menu and screen does not always seem intuitive. Most times I have to view the layout to understand the results of my actions instead of knowing with confidence what it will look like and function like. Although they have an online library of videos to help you compose an app and use all the features of the interface I found it a tad clunky to get my answer quickly. Sometimes it was faster and served me better for later to try and explore to solve my questions on my own.

I needed a way to promote training opportunities to contractors. Instead of sending out a boring list of training, I was able to make a dynamic and interactive app that included graphics, links and dates. A much more professional look that spoke to us being tech savvy without having to lay out a large expense to a design company.

I can make an advanced, high-quality, gorgeous app in about 30 minutes. I am fluent in Google Sheets, and this instantly connects with Sheets allowing a much better experience than Google Sheets alone.

Only downside is that I can't publish this to the App Store...but it makes sense because it is incredibly complex and is something the Glide team continues to look into .

Glide is very easy to get started with and requires no coding at all. Unlike other platforms that have a huge learning curve you can build with Glide very quickly.

When users add data to Glide the refresh speed is not great right now when syncing with, for example, Airtable. This is a problem.

There are some challenges at times when you need certain things updating in real time.

Glide has allowed us to convert our Map & Guide into a digital, paperless product.

The fact that making a web application all boils down to creation of a basic Google Sheet skeleton template and that it is continuously refreshed based on changes in the Sheet data.

The least helpful things about using Glide are the inability to use the apps without an Internet connection and the inability to publish the application onto App Stores.

I tested a lot of no code tools before making glide our main no code tool. glide is also very communicative and the team is constantly evolving features to meet the needs of no-code developers. Glide is a tool where you can take it in hand easily thanks to the visual interface. you can use google sheet, airtable as backend database.

there are not many possibilities for customizing the interface you are going to create. you cannot yet use several databases at the same time. you cannot yet integrate a script to integrate a chat for example. you do not have the possibility to create a mobile application to publish it on the stores and therefore use features for push notifications. The possibilities will surely evolve in the future.
