I love how easy Glideis to use. We use Glide for apps that serve 50-100 user weekend events to communicate event times, announcements, etc. I also love love love the community and how easy it is to post and receive answers to questions.
I don't love some of the UI (e.g. everything autosaves so it publishes to users right aways)
I run apps for events and it's easy to get information posted and updated.
It's very basic and easy to comprehend. Glide now has now uplifted integration numbers such as gmail, radar, push notifications, and etc.
It is not uploaded on Appstore and playstore.
Glide has just moved from classic apps to Glide app pages that i think is more fast and better in terms of design perspective too.
There are a lot of APIs and you don't have to do any coding to get a great app.
The CSS function doesn't work. There isn't a way for users to create a password, they have to use a code sent to their email every time. The navigation buttons at the bottom of your app can't be coded to change the current user step.
It allowed our company to create an app for our employees without having to hire an outside IT firm.
I really appreciate Glide for its user-friendly interface and the simplicity it offers in creating mobile apps without requiring extensive coding skills. It's a game-changer for many users! It is really useful to create indoors aplications for the company
Its limitations for creating more complex UI
Creating quick applications, modern UI interfaces for internal users
Great features and capabilities. I found it more capable than Softr. Advanced functions in Glide tables giving us the ability to not use AirTable as a backend. Realitively easy to learn compared to platforms like Bubble Excellent learning tools and communities
Do not like the login method. Would prefer the ability to use a username and password Not great for scaling a system that requires a large number of logged in users.
Glide is allowing me to build internal systems to replace expensive off the shelf software. In many cases the off the shelf software requrires work arounds but with glide we can build the solution around the processes. We use this often to simplify complex airtable solutions by building interfaces specific to a persons job, role or tasks. This has reduced a lot of confusion along with saving a huge amount of time.
I'm an airtable implementer and find glide to be the perfect front end for an airtable or google sheets database. It is far more intuitive, slick and fast than the other solutions on the market. The results are pleasing to the eye and super effective. Glide is also always adding features and improving the existing ones.
RTL support is only available via custom CSS, which, in turn, is only available at the most expensive pricing tiers. As most my projects are RTL, this eliminates the ability to use glide for many smaller scale projects.
Building a front end for raw databases, allowing users a modern wholesome experience.
I love how quick it is to make an app. It's easy to get an app up and running by starting from a template, and it's easy to make your app live for people to use it. I like how they have courses and lessons to make it easier to learn how to get started building.
I've noticed some friction with trying to log in to my account, and it can be a bit buggy at times.
Glide is solving the problem of how quickly it is to get an app up and running for people to use on your team. It does take having some prior knowledge of coding logic, but I like how it's easy to drag and drop components to design the app.
The quick form and easy to connect to google sheets. You have all in the same place, not need to have an external database. I have tried Google's option and isnt that easy.
There's some tools that would be nice to try on the beta side, without the hustle of needing to pay up front and not knowing if it would be a perfect fit. But the tool by itself it great!
Theres a lot of different ideas of how to solve x and y. So Glide had help us to try them out, without the need of having all of them just in spreadsheets. The easy way to share them its also awesome.
Glide allowed us to very quickly do up a web app, the UI is very simple to understand and the end product looks professionally made. It's also very easy to integrate external apps into pages, and implement features that we need like in app buttons or video embeds. We also contacted the customer service often, who advised us the appropriate tiering that was best for our use case, and helpful for workarounds when the base app didn't have some fringe features we needed.
I think some feature sets can be improved - like notifications sent to users which is currently being worked on but not yet perfect. Needs to have the option to password protect pages as well. 2FA and Magic Link logins can be sped up (some users currently receiving login details after a few minutes)
We utilised Glide to build an event app relatively quickly for hundreds of users, as we needed a platform that didn't require our users to download an app. For this, Glide was perfect.
Man, what I like best about Glide is the ease of use and how quickly you can create mobile apps. It's like 'drag and drop,' and voilà, you have a working app! Plus, the integration with Google Sheets is fantastic. I don't have to deal with complex databases; I just use Sheets. Oh, and the fact that it's super accessible is a huge plus. You don't need to be a programming genius to do amazing things with Glide. In a nutshell, it's a lifesaver for those who want to create apps quickly and without a hassle.
Well, one thing that I find a bit limiting about Glide is the lack of customization options. It'd be great if they offered more freedom for personalization. Also, having submenus would be handy for organizing content and making apps even more user-friendly. Another thing I wish Glide had is the ability to easily copy and paste elements between different apps. That would save a ton of time when you're working on multiple projects. So, while Glide is fantastic for quick app development, a bit more flexibility in these areas would be awesome.
Glide is tackling several issues for us, check this out! First, I've ditched using those company management spreadsheets on Google Sheets. Now, I'm using Glide directly, which helps avoid a bunch of annoying errors. Plus, I'm able to manage who has access to stuff without getting all stressed out, which is awesome when working with other team members. And, to top it off, the app access makes my life so much easier. In a nutshell, Glide is saving me time, preventing errors, and making company management way smoother.
One of the most appealing aspects of Glide is its user-friendly interface and the rapidity with which mobile applications can be developed. It employs an intuitive "drag-and-drop" approach, allowing for the creation of fully functional apps with ease. Furthermore, Glide's seamless integration with Google Sheets is highly commendable, as it obviates the need for grappling with intricate database setups, relying solely on the Sheets platform. Additionally, its accessibility is a notable advantage, as it empowers individuals without extensive programming expertise to achieve remarkable outcomes using Glide. In summary, Glide serves as an invaluable tool for expeditious and uncomplicated mobile app development.
One notable aspect deserving attention within Glide is the relative limitation in terms of customization options. Enhancing the platform with a broader spectrum of personalization capabilities would be highly beneficial. Additionally, the introduction of submenu functionality could substantially contribute to content organization and enhance the overall user-friendliness of applications developed on the platform. Furthermore, a notable feature request pertains to the ability to seamlessly copy and paste elements between distinct applications within Glide. This functionality would undoubtedly result in significant time savings, particularly when managing multiple concurrent projects. In summation, while Glide remains an exceptional tool for expeditious app development, augmenting its flexibility in these specified areas would be a significant enhancement.
Glide is addressing several significant operational challenges in our workflow, allowing for notable improvements. Firstly, I have transitioned away from relying on company management spreadsheets hosted on Google Sheets. Instead, I've adopted Glide as the primary solution, which has effectively mitigated numerous error-prone issues associated with spreadsheet-based management. Furthermore, Glide empowers me with robust access control capabilities, streamlining the process of managing permissions for team members. This feature proves invaluable in maintaining data security and ensuring efficient collaboration among colleagues. To complement these advantages, the mobile application access provided by Glide has significantly enhanced the efficiency of our operations. In summary, Glide has proven instrumental in time savings, error reduction, and the overall enhancement of our company management processes.
The glide is the best platform for creating app because it's a no code platform I just begin I love how it is used because I can customised the bay how it looks how it feel looking
The only thing I dis like about this is we can't use it on my mobile app and I mainly used mobile app because I don't own or laptop, I will be really happy if there is any development the made for the mobile apps where we can use it easily and comfortable.
Main problem was be actually needed an app for developing a system where person can buy things means not buying it should actually be a book a kind of system where person can book the assets what they need and could use that for them, using glide actually we create a kind of app which helps them to actually book the assets for themselves and use it tell there expiry period and then send them a reminder that to layer expiry period is up and they will give us our product bag so that other people can use the assets as the use it
We have actually built what I would call a pretty sofisticated platform on glide that really assists with our scheduling and tracking of our opertaions. It has alot of capability and really has made a great customized solution.
I think more options design wise and with the logic are things that will always be asked for. we find work around for most things but as it all has to be programmed before you have the option you are going to run into it.
We have a complex operations that a google sheet on its own made it hard to manage this allowed for a pretty complex customized solution on it. it also allows for other integrations.
We use glide here at the company when it is necessary to create functional prototypes quickly. The possibility of using a local database boosts application development.
Perhaps the possibility of greater customization of layouts. Today we have an infinity of possibilities, but more customizable components can make Glide a better application for the final application
Simplifying application prototyping. Application creation for internal use and corporate metrics dashboards. The possibility of connecting the application to google sheets allows the creation of insights in real time
what is really nice with Glide is that no coding knowledge is necessary. You just need to know how to build a table containing the data you want to use in your application to be able to create a functional and efficient tool in a few moments.
the only problem I had was with verifying the email. the link sent by Glide was rejected in the antispam folder of the mail server. But once I was aware of this issue, I was able to take necessary action.
our team of collaborators comprises 350 people. These people need to know a lot of information about the 34 schools in which they are supposed to collaborate. The application provides all this information and allows in a single click to get in touch with the establishments. On the other hand, the application also allows us to communicate on the calendar of events that concern our employees.
I used Glide for two different projects. What was impressive is that I went from zero to fluent (with the interface) in as little as 1 month. With the right dedication, anyone can become a super user, even with the free version.
Since Glide is still growing, it can be challenging to accomplish a specific advance project. But it will get there for sure.
Glide is addressing the challenge of limited budgets for software development by empowering non-developers like me to create functional and impressive apps, eliminating the need for costly seasoned software developers.
Glide is so fast to learn and deploy, I realy love the wow effect
The pricing and some features such as user management is maybe not for everyone
Glide help me to easily manage my database

The integration of Google Sheets and the real-time updates in the app design is nothing short of magical. With a diverse range of templates, this platform caters to both beginners and seasoned professionals. Furthermore, the exceptional support and community engagement foster an environment of collaboration and learning. Glide Apps empowers individuals to transform ideas into functional apps, paving the way for a future where technology is within everyone's reach.
While Glide Apps offers impressive simplicity, it could benefit from greater customization options for shapes, filters, menus, and graphics.
Glide Apps addresses the problem of simplifying app development for non-programmers. It benefits me by enabling me to create functional apps without coding, saving time and opening up new possibilities for turning ideas into reality.
It provides software dev capabilities with no coding skills required. They also have a ton of partners to help with custom development, and they are very plugged in with the Glide team.
The backend is a bit difficult to use, and the interoperability with other software systems is a bit limited... but they seem to be adding to those capabilities constantly.
Visualization tool for our internal and external stakeholders.
As a professional in the IT industry - and now in advertising and marketing - I believe this app helps achieve a lot. It's an easy-to-use platform to build your apps or websites, and if maximized, it could give you a very user-friendly output, too! It's not very complicated if you give it time to learn, as its visuals are very easy to understand.
It can be overwhelming initially, given the number of features it offers. It also still has a lot of things that could be improved in terms of its flexibility - but I wouldn't say it's something I disliked. It's just a room for improvement.
We needed a centralized platform for our employees, and this tool helped us build one. We're able to integrate our internal forms (from other platforms) because of the flexibility and features it offers to integrate sites to their app.
