Ninox Reviews & Product Details

The first thing I noticed about Ninox is that they put data import and backups (both solution and data) front and center on their opening screen. That was impressive for a cloud solution (I only use their Ninox Cloud option). The second thing I noticed is the way they have made things simple for the developer. Instead of having to setup separate servers for development, staging and production, I can just log right in and start developing - it only takes about 5 seconds. It is truly amazing, and everything is automatically backed up. From then on, things kept getting better. The people who put together this platform made a lot of good decisions along the way. I tested about 15 different low code platforms and Ninox is by far the best.

Anyone who has worked with newer development environments knows that documentation is always a challenge. Ninox is no exception. However, there are new detailed videos that do a good job of addressing this issue; along with their excellent online support. The Nioxus videos can be found at youtube.com by doing a search for "Ninox Learning". The Ninox simplified scripting language varies slightly from javascript, but is easy to learn.

Ninox is an extremely fast development environment to work with. Within a few days we largely duplicated a solution that took us over two years to develop in another development environment. The default interface for lists and forms is very elegant. This alone is a major time saver. Numerous rich components are included, such as graphs (line, bar, pie, donut), gantt, cards, pivot tables, kanban workflows, API support, etc.

I love the built in templates for different projects. I used the templates as a starting pointing and then made the changes to fit the particular database I was creating.

more explaination/help on Link to and Link from, without using the templates that already used link to and link from, i would not of been able to figure it out. I also dislike how easy it is to delete a table. I did it twice and had to start over.

I needed an easy to learn, reasonably priced, database for managing my clients, Ninox is hands-down the best available for my current purposes. I can create professional invoices, and track payments. Simple but very effective. I have had clients ask me what I used to create my invoices!

I am used to using a more robust relational database, so I am learning the limitations of Ninox as compared to that. (FileMaker Pro).

I am just beginning to investigate other uses for Ninox.

There has not been a business solution that Ninox or the Ninox team have not been able to solve for me in terms of managing and analysing data.

I was searching for a flexible yet easy to handle database solution for many, many years... - Until I found ninox. It supplies exactly what I expect, has reasonable pricing, around every 6 months a new version with great features is released, the support is realloutstanding.

The GUI could be a little more intuitive, but that’s whining at a high level, as it is evolving continuously with every new release

The best part about Ninox is the amount of support available to get you through all the tricky stuff. Appointments are always available.. I have never waited longer than 24 hrs to speak to someone. I also like that the support is done through screen sharing so you can show the person you are speaking to what you want to do and you can then watch how they solve your issues making learning fast and pushing me to become independent with tasks, which makes me feel motivated to push my boundaries further...

I think anything I say here will not really be ninox but me and my restricted but rapidly developing knowledge..

I don’t really know where to start but what I have done with ninox is make a research ready platform of data for clinical teams which I am able to adapt for researchers individual projects.. which has been quite stupendous..

Straightforward and easy to learn - the best support of any product I've ever used. I am NOT a programmer but the support, weekly webinars and Ninox community offer more than enough to learn -- not just how to use Ninox, but best practices and deep dives. I've never experienced this level of support with any other software, ever.

Nothing so far. I'm sure there are always advancements that can be made with any software, but I have not experienced any stumbling blocks or limitations on what I wanted to create. In fact, what I've developed has always ended up being more advanced or sophisticated than what I originally envisioned.

I have moved several simple databases into Ninox and created much more advanced solutions that provide me with much better information, saving me so much time. I've also gathered information from several sources into rich, relationships that work to give me a single source and a single place to keep data and get back valuable data.

Information at your fingertips using iphone app. I built the database on my iPad and push the updates to iPhone of me and 5 others. Having the necessary info to work on various locations and pieces of equipment is indispensable.

A user manual that was more user friendly.

I have the electrical maps of buildings, info about HVAC, ice machines, water fountains, fire suppression, water heaters, etc. Anything you need to link to a particular location are in one place. Also have database on a fleet of approx 20 buses, 20 vehicles.

eigentlich alle perfekt. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist das Client-Handling. Da nur sich das Unternehmen kaufmännisch durch zu wenig Kontrolle glaube ich selbst weh. Interessiert mich vor allem als Fund-Geber.
