I like how customizable it is, which allows me to build the program in the manner that suits the business best.
Certain forms have interfacing issues or limitations. Could be more effient/intuitive.
We were using QuickBooks for inventory management, so moving to Quickbase allows us more efficiency when managing inventory. We also needed an inventory management solution that would connect to our e-commerce website and be our "single source of truth."
I enjoy how Quickbase has simple feawtures that are relatively easy to use out of the box, but can be customized with additional CS knowledge for certain aspects to personolize your QB uses.
My least favorite thing about quickbase is not knowing what's working behind the scenes, which can result in some weird form behavior or relationship behavior. Obviously you can't always know what's going on under the hood as it's proprietary software, but that is definitely a big downside as opposed to designed your own systems.
Quickbase is quick in creating forms/questionares/workflows with relatively good flexibility which is helpful when different organizations have differetn reuirements but expect quick solutions.
Very simple and easy to use. You can build right away, using imports of your existing Spreadsheets. You dont have to have any "Programming" background to build your environment,
Quickbase could increase its relevancy if it started catering more towards Project Management, with the ability to push projects to designated users. I know this isn't Quickbase purpose but it could be something to keep in mind.
It's essentially removing the need to have multiple Excel documents, and allows all users access at once to the data.
flexibility, scaleability, ease of use, short learning curve
support is slow and doesnt always have solutions
wil be primary tool for managing field operations
Versatile/customizable. Able to do almost anything with the tool. We have used it for project tracking, PTO management, CRM, financial reporting and more!
The UI is not as good as Airtable and is less intuitive. This is the main complaint. Tools like Airtable are more simple to learn and buildout.
Financial reporting, CRM, and project task management.
It's not necessary to be experienced as a coder to being using Quickbase.
I wish the trainings and Exchange had more applications that are useful for non-profits and not just businesses.
It's helping me manage data and provide useful reports that are very customizable.
Very quick and relatively easy to learn, fairly user-friendly in the desktop app. Pipelines are usually pretty easy to use.
Mobile implementation needs some work, some features like dynamic forms rules and newer features feel incongruent and a little unwieldy from a developer's perspective. Pipelines and Jinja could use some more examples and tutorials than what is currently available in my opinion.
Our workplaces are in a Hurricane zone, so keeping data safe on the cloud away from the premises is very useful in the case of a natural disaster. It's helped with our data connectivity.
I like the ease of understanding the root causes of issues because all data stratifications are apparent.
One thing I dislike about QB is the pipeline structure. There are also many subjects to learn about QB, and it can be time-consuming when there are other needs. I also want to learn more about coding in QB; there is little learning material out there.
I like the new forms feature. It is more intuitive to build and can help our users be more productive. QB is also solving a coding gap for those who do not know how to code as well as others.
Quickbase is useful for meeting a variety of business data & technology needs, even if you don't know any particular coding language. The ability to create apps that centralize, standardize and connect data while having simple user interfaces has allowed our business to meet our growing demand.
Because of the low/no code setup, there are many functions that seem like they should be simple, but require creative workarounds to accomplish.
The major problem Quickbase is solving for my company is ease-of-access to important data. We previously had information stored in far too many disparate locations, including various apps and Excel files. Because of this, many people did not: 1) have access to data relevant to their job, 2) know where data was stored, or 3) know if the data they were using was accurate and up-to-date. Quickbase has allowed us to consolidate this information and connect it in a way that makes it accessible and accurate for all.
It has a lot of functions and tabs, which is helpful for business review and task. I also like the visuals and buttons. It is also easy to use and upload data inside the app software.
This app was slow when many users were using it simultaneously. It was loading too slowly when the file you uploaded was big enough. I can't really recommend it because it crashes most of the time.
Multitasking - Quickbase can be used even though you are using the other tab, so it saves time. Flexibility - can add more buttons and functions to the app software which is reliable and convenient for each user to just log in to one app instead of using many apps.
The amount of customization QuickBase gives you really allows users to build the exact database they need.
There is a big learning curve needed to complete any type of customized table-to-table relationship.
Quickbase allows us to track our staff in a unique way based on assignments and retain historical data for each event.
I can easily access all the information I need.
There isn't anything that I don't dislike about Quickbase.
Quickbase protects important information such as full names and addresses. It benefits me to keep this information in one spot.
Easy of use, simple design makes it less confusing
Design is quite web 1.0, very basic looking
I use it to organize my outbound and inbound orders on CrossBorderPickups, its good for organizing my orders and keeping track of order details.
QB can run reports with multi-table records
QB is very hard to customize and frequently breaks when new features are released. QB also breaks when there are too many fields on a table.
Automating tasks with pipelines.
very helpful and easy to use. easy to understand
nothing. nothing. nothing. nothing. nothing.
helping with combining data to get accounts
its easy to navigate within multiple apps
some functions do not cross over into apps easily
helping to keep everthing in one app
Es ágil, intuitivo y muy visual. Los tiempos de carga son rápidos.
Es bastante dificil de customizar. Requiere a una persona dedicada.
Debería ser más fácil de editar cada item en cada pa´gina para que cada equipo customizase su espacio.
Project upload from another system and billing projects, plus some reports
Uploading bulk rates that required rate change every year
Quickbase was very helpful in running multiple reports and project dashboard
Everything is conveniently in one place.
Keeps opening multiple tabs with non-descriptive titles.
Diagnostics, reviews, peer feedback
No coding required to customize the application and it is straight forward.
When you make changes, it does not change old records and only changes fields for new ones.
Ticket management and the benefit is to have all the users access this on one platform. We also recieve notifications of new tickets.
