The learning curve for setting up Jotforms is quite low. Various team members have been able to jump in and create forms on their first try without needing assistance. But even with its user-friendly nature, the flexibility and customizability of JotForms is wonderful. It provides any form field type we would need (radio boxes, file upload fields, hidden fields, etc.). We can also setup automatic redirects or confirmation upon a form submission, and have form submissions reported internally by email to anyone we'd like. Another feature we love is that, while we have the ability to embed the forms on a page if we want, each form comes with a standalone URL so we can send users directly to a form without needing to build a webpage. Additionally, we use Constant Contact for email marketing, so we appreciate the built-in Constant Contact integration that allows us to add new submissions directly to a corresponding email list. Finally, as a nonprofit with a small budget, we also appreciate that Jotform offers 50% off paid plans for nonprofit organizations.
While Jotform offers many built-in integration options, the ones we have tried could use some work. We use the Constant Contact integration, but we have a lot of email lists, and the feature for selecting the list you want to pair to is difficult. You cannot search by typing in your Constant Contact list name, and the email lists are not in alphabetical order, so you just have to scroll and search through every list name until you find what you're looking for. It would also be nice if we duplicate a form to have the option to duplicate the integration instead of needing to re-pair each form field every time. Our data team also tried the SalesForce integration, but had trouble with it. In the end, we used a third-party tool (Cazoomi) to sync from Constant Contact to SalesForce, instead of directly from JotForm to SalesForce.
We needed to be able to setup forms quickly and easily and have a direct link to send users to the forms without building a landing page. Originally we used Constant Contact's native form builder, but the form field options were very limited. JotForm allows us to use the form fields we need, while still allowing us to sync to Constant Contact and keep our lists updated.
Jotform makes it easy to create forms and surveys and to integrate them with online payment if needed.
With lower pricing tiers, it can be cumbersome to archive old forms to stay under the limit.
Jotform helps us gather information from donors and collect registration for events.
Jotform makes it easy to create the forms I need -- whether it's from a shared template from its community that you can personalize or creating your own forms
Unfortunately, the free version only includes 5 forms
It saves me time when creating forms for use in my company
It's easy to navigate. It's user friendly. There are many tools that we can use for creating different types of forms. It's easy to integrate with another platforms such as Monday.com. We use JotForm almost every day.
We have no complains. JotForm has been such a good platform to us.
JotForm is helping us to organize our orders and how those orders come in. We also use JotForm for some events promotions.
What I like most about Jotform is how easy it is to use. It walks you through anything you want to create, step by step. Simple and very user friendly.
I have been overall very happy with Jotform .
It keeps everything in one place so it's very easy to look back and find what I need, or able to make any changes if needed quickly and easily.
It is extremely user friendly and contains a lot of features that we need. I love that samples are provided or you can use your own custom fields.
They should expand the free version to more than 5 forms.
Jotform solves the fact that employees now have clear and concise fields to fill out vs an old excel spreadhsset we were using before. It also provides tracking so I can go back and collect the info to see who filled it out vs who didn't.
I have been using Jotform for years and truly believe its ability to collect emails and data has helped to create a seamless, automated business that allows me to 'work' even while I am not working.
I do use zapier to connect my jotform to my email service and would love to have it all in one.
Jotform allows me to collect the emails of potential customers.
We choose JotForm becuase of the integration with Salesforce.com. This is easy to setup and works really well.
Limits of the free account, meant we had to purchase a subscription.
JotForm allows us to produce user friendly website forms, that integrate with Salesforce.com
It is very user intuitive, but it also has so many possible question types, widgets, and payment gateways.
The only thing I'd change is increase the number of 3rd party integrations, like with pushpay.
letting people pay online. It's an ease of use for the people at our church.
Very helpful and quick to respond. Easy to use.
Never had any issues, have always had good luck with using it.
Ease of access for applications
being able to crate custom reports that are instantly shared
the PDF upload not always accurate and requires extra work
enables us to create and share in field reports as well as internal employee reports
The interface is easy to use on my end, but also on the end of the recipient. There are a lot of features and customization options. I have had a good experience getting customer support.
The pop up on the landing page adds a click to getting logged in and is quite annoying. Also, the fact that Jotform asks you to create an account after you've submitted your form has been very confusing to my less-tech savvy recipients.
Managing all of our internal new-hire paperwork submissions, streamlining signups for trainings. It saves us a lot of time and keeps us organized.
Makes things very simple! It never has had an error yet!
Nothing I can say so far! The platform is very user friendly!
It helps me with consent forms!
Being able to link it with our online quotes to make the process smoother in getting info to our customers. We use it everyday in our shop.
Haven't found anything yet. We Want to use it for more parts of our company
Bridging the website to our project management system
Ease of use for multiple folders and the ease of access to display the information after the forms are completed. I utilize this for international trip sign-ups and it's helpful to collect information and share it with travel agencies, hotels, tour companies, etc.
It does not keep me logged in on my computer (may be a user error). When syncing to Coda, everything has to live in one folder to integrate into a duplicatable template.
Allowing a user friendly platform for our guests to register for trips as well as allowing a simple collection of that information to be useable without having to open each form individually. This helps all of our staff see guest information easily to create data points to help with recruitment and customer service.
The more we use it the more advanced forms we have created and it has been a huge time saver. We mostly integrate the form results into Google sheets and manipulate data there if needed. We use it for forms, tests, getting signatures and many other use cases.
Nothing we love it. Some of my team have moved from Google Forms and MSFT into Jotform
The main thing for us is simplisity and Jotform ticks thhose boxes
It helps us streamline and keep all in one place. We can use it to collect data about what each person said about our presentations
Sometimes It is difficult to pull the report in jotform when using filter. For example when I filter my dates sometimes it does work and then I have to manual my self look at each report.
People able to see feedback and keeping it in one place. Also for people to request a presentation from us
Functionality and design. Great software exporting etc
Limit on forms. It would be good to have a cheaper version as prem is expensive
It's allowing us to send parents medical forms and other relevant data collection forms for our football club
Functionality, features, ease of use, integrations, and customer support
The only donwside for our small business use is the base plans only included 1 user, the only way to get additional users is to move to an enterpise plan, which is not affordable for us at this time. It would provide additional value for smaller businesses if they would add the ability to pay for addtional users at a nominal monthly fee for yearly paid customers.
Paperless business operations for both employees and customers. Onboarding New Hires, Uniform Orders, Business Related Activity Tracking, Customer Orders, Surveys-Feedback & Promotions.
We have utilized jotform at my non-profit since Covid and it has been a lifesaver. We're a small domestic violence shelter and program and we staff 4 advocates on our crisis line. Every time someone calls for the first time in a fiscal year for our services, they are required to fill out what we call a "First Contact Form." When Covid hit, we had to shift from paper forms to an online form and that is where our journey with Jotform started. Even now, they all prefer to submit those forms via Jotform. We love it!
I really can't think of a downside. Thank you!
Allows flexibility to our crisis line attendants.
