"MongoDB - My Favorite NoSQL DB"
What do you like best about MongoDB?

Having a background in object oriented programming, I found MongoDB to be easy to understand from a conceptual level. Unlike SQL based DB's, it is based on BSON (Binary JSON), which allows you to create more dynamic schemas and data structures.Instead of using tables and rows, you use collections and documents, which makes sense in an Object Oriented programming environment. As part of the MEAN stack, MongoDB goes perfectly with Node.JS projects, which can be used for both web and mobile application development. Overall, it is flexible, easy to use, and with an understanding of JavaScript, very intuitive.

What do you dislike about MongoDB?

Mongo may not be the best solution for running large complex transactions. You may also have issues migrating from a SQL based solution to Mongo, without careful planning. I would recommend for new projects, not necessarily legacy solutions.

What problems is MongoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

MongoDB Atlas to manage DB Clusters of cloud based MongoDB instances, along with MongoDB Compass. With the tool I am able to manage users, set up teams and set back ups. There is also various charting tools you can use for visualization services (ala Tableau or Google Datastudio).

"Mongo has the best cluster."
What do you like best about MongoDB?

It was so easy to create and handle the cluster. Also, when it comes to bring the data into the server, works really fast. The Live Migration Service is a free service that allows you to migrate data to Mongo and you should live this awesome experience when it comes to Data migration, that Mongo provides. I want to mention, as well, that you can pause the cluster, whenever you want, and the price is lower, which is great for when you are not using it. Mongo has a great Support service, all the tickets have a quick response.

What do you dislike about MongoDB?

The referral program is a little bit complicated. Even though the program is awesome to motivate you to share Mongo with colleagues.

What problems is MongoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

You can create several clusters and save a bunch of information. It is great for Data science.

"A quick and powerful Database solution "
What do you like best about MongoDB?

- Easy installation and configuration - Easy Replication, exceptional read-write performance with our application. - Javascript integration. - Scalability. - Great documentation available along with educational material accessibility. - Powerful aggregations. - Works flawlessly on different OS - Windows, Linus, CentOS. - We use MongoDB as a file system, along with data replication features which is pretty cool.

What do you dislike about MongoDB?

- Scaling needs some advanced experience with the tool. - Need to learn syntax since most of my team comes from Oracle SQL Background. - Unable to leverage relational DB capabilities.

What problems is MongoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Major performance improvements were visible when we migrated to Mongo DB. Query rendering was much quicker. - The schema-less design helps us to store large amount of data seamlessly. - MongoDB compression helped us improved network latency and the application became much faster compared to earlier.

What do you like best about MongoDB?

It is the easiest NoSQL database. I experienced in installing Cassandra and HBase which are NoSQL database and it was Nightmare.

I didn't reach to commercial version but It seems it is pretty expensive when a company uses it for their business.

What problems is MongoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

I tried MongoDB for NoSQL database design. Compared to other NoSQL database, I think it is easier and straightforward to setup.

"Amazing storage software"
What do you like best about MongoDB?

Mongo DB is an incredible storage software with a huge database designed for powerful, easy and intuitive documents, after storing the documents it is easy to search for them by means of the name given to them. The database of Mongo DB is known as NoSQL, which is a very useful tool.

What do you dislike about MongoDB?

As not everything is perfect sometimes I lost information, and the database starts to fail once it exceeds 100 GB, although I think that very few people have reached this point, so the software in general is pretty good .

What problems is MongoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being the manager of marketing supervision of the company Linio Group daily tasks were tedious to classify and once they were saved over time it was almost impossible to find it in minutes, taking into account that time is important in any job, the main thing is to have software that allows you a better development in your area of work and Mongo DB offers the best tools to carry out all your goals.

"good work keep it up mongodb"
What do you like best about MongoDB?

simplicity, speed and the support that we get from the community

What do you dislike about MongoDB?

its good until we use the open source version, but if we want to move to an enterprise solution the managed services costs too much as compare to cloud dbs

What problems is MongoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

using it as the core database as it has no limitation with any kind of project structure and can scale up with huge load as well
