Customer service and on the spot answers
Not much. It lacks aritifical intelligence, but for the price package, it is great value for money.
Very efficient contract execution.
Having a centralized database to store all our contracts and being able to search and filter through them easily has made things so much easier for my team. Everyone including new hires knows where to look for the relevant contracts. Our sales/new biz teams are also using the platform and is saving a lot of time generating contracts and getting deals signed.
There was a little bit of a learning curve when setting up our contract templates on Outlaw initially especially for our more lengthy and complicated contracts. But Julie was so dedicated and patient during our onboarding process which was a refreshing experience for us. Now my team is able to create new templates with minimal help from the Outlaw team.
We engage in multiple contracts with different clients every month. It was time consuming and tedious to have eyes on and keep track of them properly. Most times, we’d have to ask multiple stakeholders to get pieces of contract information. Managing all of that on Outlaw cuts all that additional work out and has reaped tremendous value to our business.
We're able to negotiate and change contracts on the spot while talking with a customer. They're able to see the changes in real-time and execute without even needing to back through our old, legacy workflows that would add days, weeks or months to our sales cycle. This has allowed us to win more deals and reduce our sales cycle dramatically. With Outlaw, we now bypass multiple internal approval flows that used to take days - now there's no extra approval steps. As part of our robotic process/pricing automation initiative, we've turned the contract cycle to virtually a zero-touch process.
If math could auto-populate when you adjust the per-user subscription price. i.e. subscriptions X per-user monthly cost = Total Monthly cost. If we could build in a calculation, this could avoid potential manual math errors. I wouldn't really even consider this a negative - this is more of a product suggestion.
Every contract problem and sales reps nightmares!
Easy to use, cost effective, reliable. From one template, I can create 5-7 different types of contracts that are customized to the deal. AND within seconds. Great customer support and onboarding training. It is for more than contract documents. I can use it for various types of documents that require edits and reviews within a team and the final approved documents signed and archived.
I have not experienced anything negative so far; my expectations have been met and exceeded in many aspects.
Mainly using Outlaw for contract generation based on customized templates. It has worked out great and started looking to use the system for collaborative document revisions. There are a lot of features we have yet to explore.
Particularly impressed with Outlaw’s negotiation functions. Specifically, their redlining, version control and commenting tools. Our contract negotiation and internal approval processes are much more streamlined. Editing contracts is also a breeze for us. The onboarding session was helpful, definitely recommend that. We are getting a lot of value out of it, big thanks to the Outlaw team!
There are some minor features that would be good to have, and we have provided feedback to the team. But so far, the team has been incredibly responsive.
We were wasting a lot of time managing our contracts via email and Word. Now, the amount of time we take to close a contract has reduced significantly.
Outlaw was an intuitive and easy to use, and Outlaw's affordable monthly cost is only a tiny fraction of what our lawyers costed us. In addition to the intuitive system and affordable fee structure, the customer service at Outlaw was great. Whenever we had an issue or couldn't figure it out, they would be available within a few hours to help us troubleshoot the issue.
When we first started, Outlaw was missing some features, but they have been very effective in listening to our feedback and rolling out new features. We have no complaints about Outlaw in its current form.
Outlaw allowed us to do the repetitive work ourselves that our lawyers loved to bill us for, which was unnecessary in our opinion. We realized that we were working extra hard to pay off the legal fees, and as a start-up company, these costs can be the difference between life and death, so Outlaw's simple and reasonable fee structure was an incredibly effective way for us to focus our energy and resources to grow our company.
The ability to generate contracts easily from pre-created templates, in-app commenting and redlining. Outlaw has made our entire contract flow much more seamless and the platform is extremely user-friendly. Another plus is the searchable contract repository. The platform has proven to be a scalable product for an affordable price.
We're able to achieve most of what we set out to on the platform. There are always minor, good to have features like more robust dashboard customization capabilities but the team has been pretty nimble in product development.
My team’s contract process is much more organized now. The platform has allowed us to stay in sync on the different contracts that come through. There’s the ability to import and export PDF/doc too, which gives us some flexibility.
It's very easy to create and upload contracts on Outlaw. It's very simple to pick up, and took me less than a week to get the hang of things and start executing contract in Outlaw. I also really like the version control feature for PDFs, it allows you to track your progress on contracts that were edited and created off of Outlaw and lets you go back to see what was changed at each stage. I also like that the team is constantly coming out with new features, it's not a full feature platform yet, but it's definitely getting there.
The esignature function could be improved. I understand that the signer needs to be specified for security purposes, but in practice, this causes some unnecessary back and forth if you don't really care which specific person on the counter party signs the contract. The feature to assign the contract to a different signer is not as intuitive as it could be for counter parties using Outlaw for the first time.
With Outlaw, there is a central repository of searchable contracts. It makes it easy to find executed contracts, and allows us to track whether contracts have been signed.
