I love the ease of use that outlaw provides. It is quick and simple for sending contracts
It can be complicated because everyone who wants to view it needs to have their email logged in. It's great for security purposes but can be a hassle trying to coordinate emails.
Sending sales contracts with ease and can make updates so quickly!
It explains what needs to be done and it's easy to use.
There isn't really anything I can say that I disliked.
I signed a new contract for my employer.
I really enjoyed using this tool for sending and receiving contracts. A client showed it to me and I've been hooked ever since. My favorite thing about it is how it takes stuff off my plate to use this tool.
The name. It's weird when people get an email in their inbox from "Outlaw" -- it has a negative connotation to it.
Sending out contracts quickly and easily that multiple people can review. Outlaw sends emails super fast so I always know where we're at in the process. I love having this part of my business animated.
That it shows you exactly what to do and where to sign and fill in
That it was confusing when I didn’t have an answer I didn’t know to fill in none
That I can make contracts and save them
The platform itself is intuitive and easy to use. At our level, we have a dedicated customer success manager who has been helping us build out and refine templates, ensure our Salesforce integration is seamless and even assist with team trainings. This company is doing this right!
I don't dislike anything but there are some improvements coming that I'm looking forward to (like ability as the administrator on our account to see all contracts without being assigned to every single one).
Automatically trigger contract workflow from our Salesforce integration means paper work gets started on time, more visibility across a range of users and clients of the status of review/negotiation. Using correct/up to date contract language and templates. Automated contract clause updates based on the hidden variables really minimize the manual contract updating we had to do.
Online service/help, the various templates. I particularly like the Contract Creation, Contract Collaboration, Reporting & Dashboards and Integration features. They treat us like a partner and are open to taking on board any tips/thoughts about new features that the team may want to see implemented in Outlaw. They are a real pleasure to work with.
There could be more templates but other than that it's great - the part of editing contracts - deleting and creating new sections. The e-signature feature could be better because sometimes there can be too much back and forth, but that is minor inconvenience really.
Having everything in the one place as previously we stored everything on various internal databases, so to have all contracts together on one centralised system makes it a seem-less and more engaging experience. Being able to track renewal dates more efficiently is also a big bonus. The ability to collaborate together on contract style/wording with teams covering a variety of timezones is beneficial.
Really easy to use, very helpful when signing contracts at a distance, want to keep in touch with the edits, a safe space and tool for business, I will surely use it again in the future.
Nothing to complain about. It all worked smoothly and fast.
We used it to sign a music production contract.
We have been using Outlaw for about a year and it has really helped streamline out contracts with partners around the world. It is easy to get up and running and as I use it more and become more comfortable there are many features that make my work day much easier and more efficient. I am most impressed by the support from the Outlaw crew. They are quick to respond and very helpful. A nice extra is how nice everyone on the team is and easy to work with. They treat us like a partner and are open to hear of any new features that you may want to see in Outlaw. A real pleasure to work with!
The system is designed for true legal contracts and we are using it for that as well as employment letters and contracts so there are a few features that we have had to adapt to our type of use. That being said I find the customer support really helpful in puzzling out the best way to do so. One feature I do not like is the inability to easily rename a contract you have to go into the "editor" more to get to the contract name. This is a lot of steps and when we do batch contracts in order to find one within the batch easily (since they all have the same name) we have to go in and name each individually. It would also be nice to have a way to batch print contracts or batch save as PDF so we can share outside Outlaw.
We are solving problems like version and template control sharing contracts easily across timezones housing and archiving edits and changes for each contract
Easy user interface. Easy to use and a delight to implement.
Nothing at all. If I dislike anything I will be sure to let you know.
Contracts are easily manipulated within Outlaw.
I love that it is easy to use and that they take into account all the user's feedback . It is really adaptable to our contract needs. It helps when managing the contract request of any company and having a more efficient and responsive legal area. It really helps to automatise a lot of the contract creation tedious and slow work and really helps any legal team to be better organised.
I would like for the template creator to be more like word or pages; sometimes it can be a little difficult to make te document look the way you expect. It could be a little more user-friendly and the variable creation a little more easy. Also it could be really helpful if it could be easily integrated with other external legal solutions such as electronic signature's providers. In general it is a great software that can really be a game changer for any legal team but it would really be a major improvement if Outlaw adapts to the users rather than the users having to adapt for fully using Outlaw.
We are taking advantage of the template and contract maker in order to have a better control of all the company's contract requests. We also want to take advantage of Outlaw in order to make it easier for our internal users to make contract requests to the legal team. Outlaw is really helping us to have a more efficient and quick response to the internal user's contract requests. Also managing the contract life cycle is a very useful tool for any type of company. We can easily know execution and expiration dates, manage addendums or changes to any contract.
I like the way the system distributes the critical information, such as bill to, service address, etc. throughout the contract for me.
I have not found anything -yet - to complain about!
Outlaw fills in critical information throughout the contract, whereas I had to type it over and over again with our previous tool.
Customer service and on the spot answers
Not much. It lacks aritifical intelligence, but for the price package, it is great value for money.
Very efficient contract execution.
Able to add the related parties who need to sign the contracts.
teaching internal team how to use the system.
online siging of contracts.
Love the user flow of how to build a contract from scratch.
I dislike the contract permissions flow (i.e. sometimes prospect gets locked out of contract and need to send out a new one)
The ease of signing a contract. It is a clean, straight forward process and easy to use both for the client and myself.
I love how easy it is to review, approve and sign!
Formatting templates is a bit quirky but I do not have any dislikes.
Benefits are ease of use. We are so excited about tracking expirations as well!
How easy and smooth editing the contract is (i.e. quickly changing around contract variables0
Not enough notice around contract activity (i.e. no notifications prompting prospect opened contract)
The efficiency of getting a contract signed between you & prospect
Outlaw makes it easy to auto import custom Variables in agreements to salesforce fields
You can't arrange your list of variables on the right hand side. Ideally I could put those in an order that makes sense
Salesforce hygeine, more data captured in less time with better accuracy
Easy of use: once templates are created it's so quick and easy to complete
At the moment you cannot add two signing parties on pdf uploads with date stamps
Easy to find archived contracts, easy to duplicate contracts which have specifically negotiated terms in, easy to negotiate terms with clients on the platform with their redlining system so you do not get muddled with multiple word versions of a contract. Also great to have a log of changes.
Elegant and streamlined experience that is both easy to use and super collaborative.
The toggle between the summary and the full contract could perhaps be clearer - what is the difference between the two things for example....
I'm a consultant and using Outlaw to manage contracts has changed my life for the better.
Having a centralized database to store all our contracts and being able to search and filter through them easily has made things so much easier for my team. Everyone including new hires knows where to look for the relevant contracts. Our sales/new biz teams are also using the platform and is saving a lot of time generating contracts and getting deals signed.
There was a little bit of a learning curve when setting up our contract templates on Outlaw initially especially for our more lengthy and complicated contracts. But Julie was so dedicated and patient during our onboarding process which was a refreshing experience for us. Now my team is able to create new templates with minimal help from the Outlaw team.
We engage in multiple contracts with different clients every month. It was time consuming and tedious to have eyes on and keep track of them properly. Most times, we’d have to ask multiple stakeholders to get pieces of contract information. Managing all of that on Outlaw cuts all that additional work out and has reaped tremendous value to our business.
Having a single source for all our contracts . We draft our own contracts and deal with 3rd party paper. In the past, it was a very manual process to track across the different types of agreements. A centralized repository makes it so much easier for us to search for terms and keep track of deadlines.
We just got started so haven't encountered problems. But there was one time where a colleague couldn't find a contract but it was user error. I would suggest that you ensure that your whole team is aligned before getting started.
We finished migrating over all our contracts and now moving onto the next phase of generating contracts in Outlaw. The big benefit of Outlaw was working with a hands on team. Julie was always there to walk us through and come up with custom solutions to our needs.
We're able to negotiate and change contracts on the spot while talking with a customer. They're able to see the changes in real-time and execute without even needing to back through our old, legacy workflows that would add days, weeks or months to our sales cycle. This has allowed us to win more deals and reduce our sales cycle dramatically. With Outlaw, we now bypass multiple internal approval flows that used to take days - now there's no extra approval steps. As part of our robotic process/pricing automation initiative, we've turned the contract cycle to virtually a zero-touch process.
If math could auto-populate when you adjust the per-user subscription price. i.e. subscriptions X per-user monthly cost = Total Monthly cost. If we could build in a calculation, this could avoid potential manual math errors. I wouldn't really even consider this a negative - this is more of a product suggestion.
Every contract problem and sales reps nightmares!
The end to end process -- from generating a contract to getting a signature is incredibly seamless on Outlaw. Not just for myself, for my clients as well. The eSigning feature and email alerts are definitely a massive plus -- a deal can close from anywhere in the world, at any time of the day.
So far I haven't found major pain points using the product. I’m still an early user and my experience has been positive so far.
Love that I can send out contracts in minutes and close my deals in half the time. My clients have feedbacked that the contract looks great aesthetically as well. Overall really pleased. The team was very responsive to me RE: questions and emails.
Outlaw people are great to work with, very responsive to needs and questions.
No dislikes at this time. Couldn't ask for more in our uses.
Sending thousands of contracts at a time is tremendous time saver. Outlaw has streamlined our contracting process.
its e signature tab and easy access to accounts
I dont like the fact they put accounts in draft form
to e sign benefits easy access to contract signing
UI is awesome...super intuitive. With a few simple instructions, I was off and running.
The zapier link broke but that was on Pipedrive...not Outlaw.
Our agreement workflow is SO easy now! Agreements look more professional, as well. The process is sped up so I'm not waiting a long time to get things checked off by my CEO/VP.
Solid thoughtful feature set that improves our contract creation and signature process ten-fold. Our sales team has loved the ease with which they can create contracts, while our ops and executives teams love the visibility Outlaw provides into contracts. The Outlaw team also has been an absolute pleasure to work with (responses always within a day, if not usually a few hours!)
Some small nice to have features that I'm sure the product will gain with time. When brought up to the Outlaw team they've been very understanding and seem to have taken the advice to heart as some requests have already been built.
Ensuring consistent contracts across the board and visibility for the team into what is being included in contracts
I liked that it was eco friendly, not a bunch of papers to go through. It was easy simple instructions and to the point. Everyone should be using Outlaw.
Nothing, this was the most efficient way I have ever used to sign up for a new job.
Benefits are that it's self explanatory and convenient. I just signed all my paperwork from my phone.
The customer service from Outlaw is above par. They are attentive and accommodating.
We do run into a few clients that don't understand why a contract is coming from a third-party, but once we explain, they understand the ease of use!
Our contracts are organized and we are able to manage signatures efficiently.
Simply put, it's a high quality platform made for salespeople, account managers, and legal counsel (on both sides of a deal) to execute contracts together more smoothly. A lot of this is possible due to the intuitive interface, pre-approved/conditional contract terms that can be swapped in and out, and the fact that Outlaw can basically serve as word-processor purposely made for constructing, editing, and executing contracts. This was a pain I experienced previously many times over in past sales jobs, and Outlaw eliminates it. After a few meetings with their amazing team, it was clear to me that this was the best contract-management platform I had seen.
I can't name any dislikes at this point in time.
Ultimately, Outlaw eliminates excessive back and forth, helps you sign contracts quicker, and increases your close rate as a result. The biggest problems it's been able to solve are: -Reducing time spent editing, submitting, and agreeing on contracts. -Keeping sales teams in line with what legal has approved for language, while still giving team members the flexibility to edit, swap, and adjust terms. The interface makes this easy. -Smooth integration with Salesforce which makes constructing contracts more seamless, and also eliminates time spent updating various tools related to contracts. -Onboarding. It's just faster with Outlaw compared to other tools we've seen. Who wants to spend more time setting up a product than using it to move the needle?
