Scripting and not having to read off a teleprompter anymore! What used to take me 3 months I did in 3 weeks. Game changer for training videos! This is the firs AI software that I have used. When I was looking into competitors the avatars seemed to be better with Synthesia.

The screen recorder doesn't work very well. It seems to only work if it is recording an internet tab. Sometimes I need to record everything that I'm doing. I would like there to be a more seamless way to create a screen share with voice-over. I'm sure it'll be updated eventually.

What I like most about Synthesia is the ability to generate high value videos in less than 15 minutes. It contains many important tools such as changing accents by country, setting a green background, changing the size of the humanoid, etc.

Synthesia has many different avatars using AI to create videos from text, creating scenes as if you were preparing a slideshow presentation. It has support to many different to languages with male and female voices.

Voices for languages such as Portuguese are limited. The previewing feature does not give a precise idea of the avatar behavior and movements (on the preview, a still picture of the avatar is rendered on the screen, probably for processing issues).

To create videos commenting a slideshow presentation, synthesia allows me to create shorter versions, in a more direct approach. When you record a person presenting, he/she usually add unnecessary comments and lots of filler words.

We heard of Synthesia through TikTok first and about capabilities that it offers. At first it sounded as the future of video production was already here and it really was. Synthesia can generate videos through typing a text script and then their technology will translate that into a form a video where a human AI will speak those words that you typed. They have over 20+ different people and styles and they are adding more every week. This is the new way of generating videos that is easy enough for everyone to enjoy and is well priced. We love Synthesia !

Honestly there is very little that we can think of in terms of things to improve. Perhaps the only thing could be the price to generate your own avatar AI could offer some discounts every once in a while to a much accessible price point. Other than that , is just great

If you are like me and have some texty pages, you copy-paste your text into Synthesia and have very lifelike spokesperson say it instead. It is much easier to use than Toonly.

I'm not sure there is anything to dislike. There is one thing that Synthesia could improve. I would like to know how much of my monthly quota I have used. (There is no meter that I have found yet.) And I would like an easier way to buy extra videos than to pay in $30 tranches with no volume discount. Maybe they will find a better pricing model in time.

I've been using synthesia for a long time, when only synthesia had a few avatars available. From the start the quality and realism of the avatars is impressive. The new avatars go even further, allowing hand control and having 2 perspectives of the same avatar. Synthesia it's also amazing for text to speech. If you don't need the avatar video, you can use option "voice only". Synthesia top quality voices and hundreds of languages (including Zulu!!).

Although the reasons why synthesia places limits on the use of avatars are understood, in reality it is very difficult to use these avatars for those who want to create videos about political and historical facts. Synthesia should review its policy because it is an excellent tool for the educational field.

Avatars are looking like very realistic and also their voices are very clear.

My mother tongue is Finnish, but in Synthesia there are only 4 different voices in Finnish, 1 male voice and 3 female voices. I would like to have more voices in Finnish, because it increases the possibilities of using Synthesia for different purposes. There is still some room for improvement in the synchronization between the avatars' lip movements and the words/sentences spoken in Finnish.

With the help of Synthesia, I could create completely new usage possibilities, such as a virtual news studio and various presentations on things related to tourism, for example.

the interface is very easy to use. The choice of charators/avator are amzing. Covers just about every ethnicity/race/gender/work. I found the voices to be super close. I highly recommend this tool. I have already used it for create many videos.

Speed to market with content. This is the biggest time solver. And we are benefiting the results because the videos are being recieved very well.

I really like the simplicity of the interface and the many elements one can customise. Personally, I have been looking at being able to use synthesised actors for quite a while now. I find that Synthesia does a great job, by streamlining such a complex job (that of having to match words and video so seamlessly) and it only takes a few minutes to be able to download the video.

I find that the art direction of the actors could be improved, especially with regards to lighting and overall style (the clothes they are wearing, the make-up, hair-style etc. But I can see that new ones are being added and I'm sure this will be further developed with time. The British actors sometimes seem to have some audio artefacts (long unnatural pauses etc), however these are glitches that can be improved with quick custom tricks (there is a good section about it)

What I do not like so much is in the editing of the pauses of the avatars. There, where you insert the text, could appear a menu bar so that you can just click on it and thus insert pauses or gestures.

If you come across a complex text, you sometimes must tinker with punctuation and pronunciation. I'm also waiting for controlled gestures and emotions.
