Synthesia's intuitive platforms allows creating videos with an AI-created human being. I was impressed with the lip syncing and character animation capabilities. The new easy to use API will make creating content very convenient. I also appreciate that the team seems very responsive and eager for feedback.

Best about Synthesia is that it is a full of possibilities tool for communication and customer experience.

The editing tools still do not give all the possibilities. You cannot test the video before finalizing it, background photos show sync failures. That reduces the quality of the final product.

An all in one platform , you can edit , you can do text to video , text to voice in multiple laguages , it helped us be more organized.

Updating our content is very easy as the scripts and slides can be changed very quick. This means we do not have to go back in and re-record a whole session just to change one thing.

Changing some of the templates can be difficult or changing the aminations which makes the video impossible to publish as it will not overrride the error.

Creating a short video from start to finish is incredubly easy. The updated feature of creating videos portrait orientation is the most convenient for my company.

It should be easier to create templates from previously created videos. Needing to create them seperate of an actual video is a pain so I haven't bothered to create many.

Synthesia has drastically lowered the cost of creating videos. All our customers aren't necesarrily interested in real actors because of the high cost at scale. Synthesia helps us drastically lower that cost and offer an affordable alternative to their liking.

- not enough choice in terms of export quality - would like the option to choose 4K - can't generate specific clips, causing us to generate an entire project again just to fix one small error - buggy, sometimes you'll press back from a project and it'll take you somewhere it shouldn't have. another example is when i started a Ai project, put all the information in and then it went back to the original menu and all work saved was lost. -generating can take very long for projects that are short - pasting in text will space it weird, won't put it in correctly forcing me to manually go through and space out all the text correctly... this particular issue needs to be fixed please :) - sometimes you'll put in normal text and the voice will take random pauses mid sentence for no reason - can look very unrealistic at times - some of the voices are very obviously robots

Limited female voice selection. In American US voices, limited to slight accents or white female voices. No African-American presence. Intonations are missing. Cannot form questions or exclamations. Speed adjustment is requested. The speed is too quick in some instances. The greatest feedback from users is that the speech is too fast. Am now downloading into Camtasia to edit the clip speed. In some instances, recording videos myself have turned out quicker.

Avatars are too static, they always face cameras, and they're not enough diversity of clothing. And also the voice tones are a little bit limited.

Synthesia saves me the cost of hiring a model, booking a studio, and spending time creating videos.

It's quick and easy. Not all the voices sound natural, but there is one mens voice and one womens voice that sounds very human.

The pricing is weird. Supposedly, once you use up a certain amount of time, you can't make any more videos. That makes the product infeasible for larger projects. They should consider pricing by volume of video, not by month.

The number of avatars and accents. But to be honest, I don't like the fact you cannot alter a rendered video (no access to source file) so you cannot make changes and render again.

The fact that I had to wait three or more days for render of video because you all went on holiday and didn't give a shit about your customers. As long as you were having a rest, that's great. Your customers can sit and wait while you're busy partying. I also cannot find the source file so if I want to make a change to a rendered video I have to start from scratch again. This is a serious weakness

It did take a little time to learn the software and i would have liked to have my own image as the avatar .. however over all it works well for us, and we intend to continue to use it

They have the best lipsync quality among all the services available in the market, the last avatars are good looking and a little more modern and updated.

In general the avatars are outdated and non sense. They create many voices in USA english, but only a few for other languages. In a world so diverse like today, they should include avatars that could express this multitude of cultures and languages.

When it is urgent to create a video and you have no actors, no place to record, you can consider to use Synthesia, but just for a few use cases right now; but is a valid and cheap solution.

How to communicate better? Still experimenting with the software, especially how to make a step change.

I like the ease of use, and realism/appearance of the avatars - especially the lip-sync capabilities.

I think there need to be more options for voices - especially urban/African/Caribbean tones. I would also like to see more clothing options for the avatars. There is an inconsistency in the accuracy of the audio - post rendering. I have experienced drastic changes compared to when I previewed the audio.

It has helped me to be more creative, but I wish there were more options to customise the avatars. I'm sure that's not a good business move on your part, but many of my clients simply can't afford a custom avatar at that price. Maybe offer a higher tier for advanced customisation???

The fact that you can create a video in multiple languages and change it in a sec after you found a mistake or the information changed is a breeze. We stopped hassling around with making videos, having to take care of background, lighting, multiple runs, editing, etc. This is our way to go now, and we have already had clients wanting to use it for their own business.

Mass generation of videos can be improved; we'd like to create millions per day, all personalized, but that's not an option yet. I know it'll come though; they've been adding new features very regularly.
