Very easy to use, quick learning curve, support throughout. Great diversity in terms of characters, great amount of voices, but sometimes it is difficult to match them.
Characters still look really robotic in the anunmations and with the voices. It is also unclear what Synthesia would flag as inappropriate or not (working in Pharmaceuticals all the materials we create is for educational purposes, and sometimes needs citations, so if these are not allowed I could see it becoming an issue in the future).
Making educational content for our Company in a way that is faster than recording

There are some improvements needed like sometime video editing get stuck, adding a media as background does not show full recorded screen. The trimming of video is horrible. 1000 times i need to search for a way to trim the video. As a user I do not understand what is variable and how this is useful for me so would be good if how to is there. Co collaboration is not there. Would be good if more than one person can work on the video. If I need to share a liink to someone then i need to publish the video, which i donot like. Also if i create a video if no template exist then i need to change it to template to then create a video. there are few more and i am tired to write for just 25 dollar voucher.
Solving in terms of having a human speaking the video. This is beneficial if i would like to create many videos without my face.
The Positives: Synthesia is easy to navigate, easy to render videos and for the price was worth a shot at trying out. There are several templates and avatars to use to fit just about any situation.
The lips don't sync very well on the samples we've tried to this point. You can definitely tell they are AI videos. If the quality improves, we will use it more often.
The benefit is that marketing videos can be made very quickly and implemented into our marketing strategy. The manual process to record and edit videos is now replaced.
The tool has lots of different Avarats and lot of different langauges which is great
The mouth of the person does not move in 100% in sinc a lot of the time with the words it is supposed to say. Also some of the words are not pronounced properly. This makes it obvious that this is not real. The interface is not great. Trying to add more than one or two animations has never worked for me and just crashes what I am buiding. I have told customer service and got the reply to to just refresh, which was not helpful and of course I did. All in all I like the way the development of this tool is going and if you are an early adopter and do not mind these teething problems then you will enjoy the tool as I do. If you are expecting something polished then it is not for you.
It makes video development for your compnay really easy. Anything from intro meetings to how to meetings are done in no time at all and without the needs for cameras and ligting etc.
I like how quickly the audio can be produced without background noise.
Most times the audio is unusable for our Camtasia projects because the voices don't carry over the proper tone or voice inflection.
We want to be able to create audio for our videos rapidly.

The content of the author's scripts is too easily disapproved by content moderators without specific reasons why.

The trimming option for uploaded video is not there, specially screen recording, one slide should have an option of combining different part of master video according to the script
There are multiple problems with Avatars and indian languages. Benefits is that is easy to use as compared to other video editors in the market.
The idea of the product is fantastic and when you fit into a pretty narrow use case, it's going to be decent. If you need something on scale, this isn't your product.
Custom avatar isn't real or doesn't work. they don't let you buy it and make months worth of excuses. if i was an investor, i'd be very cautious with what's happening over here.

I was looking forward to the idea of developing videos without the full hassle of a production team
There are a few avatars that dont look, sound and feel natural. Our CEO is having second thoughts about this solution because of it. Can you guys improve those facial expressions?
