While I have been using V2 and their products I have not had any problem.
With V2 we could eliminate a physical server of the company and one internet connection.

We need to use some specialised software for which we have a 3-seat license. By using V2Cloud to create 3 virtual desktops, we've enabled 10+ users to utilise the software as if it were a service instead. Since they only need it in short bursts, and not very frequently, it made sense as a tool for us. V2Cloud's interface is good and made it easy to share.
It might be a limitation of windows itself, but it would be really handy if the users could see when a machine is actively in use so that they don't kick each other out of the software when they connect.
We need to share an expensive software product that installs in windows.
The ease of getting started, up and running with great support in just minutes. You can add users on the fly and give them permissions to only what the need to see. You can add disk space as the company grows. We are a company with 6 employees and being able to exchange data and files without emailing it or using a thumb drive, or having to maintain a server is wonderful.
The RAM offered with the smaller packages really isnt enough to run anything of significance. Even Edge or Chrome will use up the Ram. V2Cloud should increase the Ram available in the smaller packages to a Min of 16gig.
We have offices in 2 states, this allows all our employees to work on the projects seamlessly. We share the same databases and run the same software. I only need to install the software once, and all users have access to it.

Remote Desktops and VDI.
V2 has been our remote desktop of choice to help our staff login and work from home to support our clients back-office needs. While the offering is reliable, what really impresses us is the customer service anytime we have tech issues, whether to install software or address specific user issues etc they jump on it instantly. I also like the Screen Share without Control mode which allows us to spot audit remote staff, an especially valuable tool in highly critical transactional processes in healthcare and finance.
The software is Windows Terminal Server which limits some software being loaded on. But really, apart from that, we have not had any issues.
Remote working staff needed a simple desktop environment with good controls. V2 solved it for us in an affordable model.
The customer service is amazing and has exceeded my expectations. Between the ease of use for the V2 cloud and the customer service, it makes it so easy to use and build your business.
I wish it was not set for the auto bill, but more send invoice and user makes their payment. The app feature, I would prefer to be able to customize and promote my business info rather than the V2 Cloud.
Makes doing SaaS for my application a breeze and easy to manage, it is also easy for my customers to navigate.
I like the control features used to monitor users in the system.
So far there are no downsides to using the the software.
It allows me to have more than 1 user for the use of my tax software. I would not be able to have multiple users that aide in preparation of tax returns. The V2 Cloud system provides a platform for my companys growth.
The main thing that got me to try it was that I can access the VM in multiple ways. E.g., Browser, mobile, etc. Setting up a VM is pretty straightforward as well which is always a plus.
I hope they offer a way to charge by usage or something like by the hour. It helps someone like me that wouldn't use the VM 24/7. For an individual like me who is just trying to find a straightforward solution to work completely remotely, that is a really good thing.
My work machine just broke down along with all my files. I currently run an in-house server, if you will. This is just something I set up in my house with a bunch of oracle vbox machines that I could easily access through my network based on what I need. However, cause of hardware malfunctions, I lost it. I've been thinking of moving to a cloud service but just couldn't find something that has a reasonable price or is at least within my budget.
Almost immediate action by the tech support staff if doing covered hours.
Nothing to dislike at this time. The services offered are exactly what we need.
