Hostinger has not announced a 2026 Black Friday offer. It’s August; the sale is in late November. Anything quoting 2026 Hostinger deal prices today is guessing.

What’s useful now is the baseline — and for Hostinger specifically, one number matters more than the discount.

The thing to watch is the term

Hostinger is the cheapest shared host to own over three years, and it isn’t because the discount is deep. It’s because the promotional rate runs 48 months — we confirmed the “48 months plan” wording on its own pricing page on 17 August 2026.

That’s longer than the three-year window most people plan around, so you never reach the renewal inside it. The renewal is $10.99 against a $2.99 promotional rate — a 268% increase — and it simply doesn’t arrive in time to matter.

Which sets up the question for November. A Black Friday offer that cuts the headline rate but shortens the term to 12 or 24 months would be worse than today’s deal, not better. Hostinger’s entire cost advantage is duration:

Scenario Rate Term 3-year effective
Today $2.99 48mo $2.99
Hypothetical: deeper rate, shorter term $1.99 12mo $7.99

A 33% deeper discount on a quarter of the term costs you nearly three times as much. That’s not a prediction about what Hostinger will offer — it’s the arithmetic to run on whatever it does offer.

So the first question in November is “how many months?” and the second is “what’s the renewal?” The percentage is third at best.

The current baseline

Shared hosting

Premium
Promotional rate $2.99/month
Term 48 months
Renewal $10.99/month
Increase 268%
3-year effective $2.99
Charged upfront $143.52

That last row is the trade. The market-leading three-year cost requires $143.52 today, and prepaid terms are largely non-refundable beyond a 30-day window.

VPS

Verified live on 17 August 2026. Note the VPS promotional term is 24 months, not 48 — a different structure from shared:

Tier Spec Promo Renewal Increase 3-year effective $/GB
KVM 1 4GB / 1 vCPU $6.49 $11.99 85% $8.32 $2.08
KVM 2 8GB / 2 vCPU $8.99 $14.99 67% $10.99 $1.37
KVM 4 16GB / 4 vCPU $12.99 $28.99 123% $18.32 $1.15
KVM 8 32GB / 8 vCPU $25.99 $49.99 92% $33.99 $1.06

Two things worth noticing.

The VPS renewal increases are far gentler than the shared one — 67% to 123% against shared’s 268%. VPS pricing here is much closer to honest flat pricing than the shared ladder is.

And the price per gigabyte improves as you scale, from $2.08 at 4GB to $1.06 at 32GB. If you’re going to need 16GB within a year, buying it now costs less per gigabyte than buying 4GB twice.

The baseline itself moves

Worth knowing before you trust any “before” price, including ours.

Across this research we recorded Hostinger’s 8GB VPS promotional rate at $8.79. Reading the same page on 17 August 2026 it was $8.99. The renewal was unchanged at $14.99.

That’s a small move and it’s the point: promotional rates drift continuously, so “50% off” in November is measured against a number that was already moving. The renewal rate is the stable figure, which is another reason to anchor on it rather than on the discount.

If you’re buying for an AI agent

The KVM tiers are where the seasonal delta has historically been largest on VPS, and there’s a sizing rule that matters more than the discount.

4GB is the floor and 8GB is the honest number if the agent drives a browser, because a headless Chromium instance wants 1–2GB by itself — the full sizing is here. On today’s baseline that’s KVM 1 at $6.49 or KVM 2 at $8.99, and KVM 2 is the better buy per gigabyte anyway.

The reason to pick Hostinger for this specifically is the one-click Docker templates, which cover the common agent and automation stacks. Most first attempts fail during installation rather than operation, and a template removes that category of problem entirely.

What a discount doesn’t fix: the model API is usually the larger half of an agent’s monthly cost, at $2–15 for typical use and far more on a frontier model with an aggressive check-in interval — we broke that down separately. A cheaper server doesn’t touch it.

Buying outside the US

One finding that surprised us and applies year-round: Hostinger’s Indian pricing is 8–16% below its dollar pricing converted, at ₹999 against a ₹1,146 conversion on the 4GB tier. That’s genuine local pricing rather than a converted rate — the full comparison is here, including the GST treatment.

So check your local storefront before assuming the .com price is the best available, and note that GST or VAT may be added separately depending on where you are.

Where to buy

Hostinger — the cheapest shared hosting to own over three years at $2.99 effective, and competitive on VPS at $1.06–2.08 per gigabyte depending on tier. One-click Docker templates, NVMe storage across the VPS range, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Go in knowing three things: the headline shared rate needs 48 months paid upfront, the VPS promotional term is 24 months rather than 48, and the shared renewal is a 268% increase whenever you do reach it.

For the wider seasonal picture, our pre-sale baseline across providers records what everyone else charges, and renewal pricing across the market explains why term length beats percentage everywhere, not just here.

How we checked this

There are no 2026 Black Friday prices in this article because none have been announced. Black Friday 2026 falls in late November and this was written on 17 August 2026.

The VPS figures are verified live. We read Hostinger’s VPS pricing page on 17 August 2026 and recorded KVM 1 at $6.49 renewing to $11.99, KVM 2 at $8.99 renewing to $14.99, KVM 4 at $12.99 renewing to $28.99 and KVM 8 at $25.99 renewing to $49.99, each stated as renewing “for 2 years”. The three-year effective figures and the per-gigabyte column are our arithmetic on those rates, applying the promotional rate for 24 months and the renewal for the remaining 12.

The shared hosting term is verified; the rates are carried over. We confirmed the “48 months plan” wording on Hostinger’s shared hosting page on the same date. The $2.99 promotional and $10.99 renewal rates are the figures established across this series rather than re-read today — the page did not render its renewal rows for our automated request, and it crashed on one attempt.

The drift observation is our own. We recorded the 8GB VPS promotional rate at $8.79 earlier in this research and $8.99 on 17 August 2026. We have not corrected the earlier figure across our other articles, because a 20-cent movement on a promotional rate that fluctuates is not an error so much as evidence that these numbers move — which is the point we’ve made with it. The renewal rate, which drives the three-year cost, was unchanged.

What the brief asked for and this article doesn’t contain. It specified building the page on last year’s receipts — Hostinger’s actual Black Friday 2025 plan prices against its ordinary October 2025 sale price, to show how much of the seasonal discount is genuinely extra. We do not hold that historical pricing and could not verify it, so there is no year-on-year comparison here. The hypothetical in the second section is explicitly labelled as arithmetic rather than a forecast.

We also have no information on coupon stacking behaviour, which the brief asked about. Hostinger’s discount arrives with the landing page in the same way we found at other hosts, and we have not tested whether a code can be applied on top.

What we did not do: purchase a plan, complete a checkout, observe a Black Friday offer, or verify the Indian pricing beyond the reads described in our India guide.

The Hostinger links above are affiliate links. This article tells you that a deeper Black Friday discount could be a worse deal than the one available today, which is not a message that helps a seasonal sale.

FAQ

When is Hostinger’s Black Friday 2026 sale?

Late November. No 2026 offer has been announced as of August, so any specific figures circulating now are speculation.

What should I check when the offer lands?

The term length first, the renewal rate second, the percentage third. Hostinger’s current advantage is a 48-month shared term, so an offer with a lower rate on a shorter term would cost more over three years.

How much is Hostinger right now?

$2.99/month for shared on a 48-month term renewing at $10.99, and $6.49 to $25.99 for VPS on 24-month terms. Three-year effective cost is $2.99 for shared and $8.32 to $33.99 for VPS depending on tier.

Why is the three-year cost the same as the promotional rate on shared?

Because the 48-month promotional term outlasts a three-year hold, so you never reach the $10.99 renewal within that window. That’s what makes it the cheapest shared hosting to own.

Is the Hostinger VPS renewal as steep as the shared one?

No, and it’s a notable difference. VPS increases run 67% to 123% against shared’s 268%, so VPS pricing here behaves much more like flat pricing.

Which Hostinger VPS tier is best value?

Per gigabyte, the largest — $1.06/GB at 32GB against $2.08 at 4GB. For an AI agent, KVM 2 at 8GB is the practical pick since browser automation needs the headroom.

Do I have to pay for the whole term upfront?

For the cheapest shared rate, yes — 48 months is $143.52 charged today, and prepaid terms are largely non-refundable beyond the 30-day guarantee window.
