The ALM is easy for learners to find and take courses that are assigned to them or recommended, and also simple to search and take courses in their catalog. This is what a company wants in an LMS: ease of use for its learners, who need to quickly locate and obtain the knowledge necessary. A big plus for me personally as an admin is that Adobe support is very responsive to any client questions, so working with their staff is a pleasure.
There are some enhancements our company would like, but as a relatively new LMS, not all functions are not yet there. Due to the daily mobility of our staff in the hospitality industry, we wish we could leverage the mobile app more: that it would run courses with quizzes, allow courses with multiple attempts, and be able to share info between the mobile and desktop apps without being offline. It would also be nice to be able to limit admin capabilities to certain catalogs only, and I would also like to see the ability to create dashboard reports with multiple courses (now it is one or all).
I just got off a call with ALM support and our CSM as they are looking into why deleted courses are coming up on a dashboard report sent as a subscription. I just had them close a ticket on our migration connector not working- we had to change from Exavault to Box (AWS is another option) a bit abruptly, for which they apologized and supplied the support (even involving their a member of the engineering team) on the issue to make sure we were able to migrate the data needed. They are also looking into enhancements to the mobile app that our company really needs.
The support from the help desk is great! They respond quickly and keep working until any issues are resolved. Once everything is set up, assigning courses is simple. The reporting includes an individual learner transcript which is critical for us.
The migration process for third-party content is agonizing. We have now discontinued our subscription with the third-party vendor. The classes have been retired but still appear for our learners, leading to confusion.
Allowing us to track more training in one place. The reporting is more automated than our last system so that has been a time saver.
Adobe Learning Manager is easy to use (both as a learner and the primary admin). Adobe's tutorials and guidance has been above par!
I haven't found anything that I really dislike. Adobe invests in their product with routine improvements.
The ability to provide formal training with reporting on statuses and completion. Tracking training compliance is a big deal for us. We have not YET rolled this out to our customers but will be in the future.
I like the flexibility to brand the system and the courses as well as the interface
The Adobe block list - it just makes life miserable for us
All of our Learning in one place! All of our learning content in one place! It is a big win. We also love the versioning that the Content Library provides. This makes uploading updated content and then downloading same to all affected courses super easy for the Authors.
The interface was quite intuitive and interactive
Lacking some cross platform formats. Like I was unable to connect it to OracleHCM
Creating learning material and trying to explore it further
features and function with extensive user interface
Nothing as such.. there is enhancement scope in the voice versa option.
content curation, assignment, tracking and customized reporting
Improvement and flexibility is what is most required for a product. And for Captivate Prime i would say they listen to the customer.
Pricing is a bit higher if you are a small budget company. But if you requite this sort of service its necessary
We used it to train the crew at Spicejet.
User uploading, classroom training, all email settings, course uploading, etc...
Feedback option(The year 2020), the course was not used to capture 20% of time
I solved the User uploading issue by creating custom fields. integrated custom field with server to upload the everyday user data automatically
You can import Training data and courses from any legacy LMS. I really like how this LMS allows you to manage both internal and external learners. Social learning is another feature which allows learners to upload their own content.
No proper on boarding material. Content from the course catalog requires a seperate subscription. Also, maximum video upload size is 900 MB.
Prime LMS helps in assinging skills to the courses so that learners can earned required skills after completing the courses. Skills can be marked as leadership skills, so learners can find out what it takes to get a promotion to the next level in the corporate hierarchy.
I like the modifications that can be made and the email templates that are given.
I do not like the lack of ability to store certifications from other sources.
I have noticed how involved the training team is.
The ability to integrate other adobe software and application within captivate prime. Play necessary videos, interactive games and questionnaire's if needed.
Offline ability a little taxing however minimum functionality is available. Doesn't integrate well with other more technical software packages for future design works and technical files.
Communicating better with customers and clients interested in our products. Teaching our citizens about there culture and encouraging them to take part in an interactive experience.
The ability to create cross-platform projects as "responsive" projects. I also like the ability to import previously created presentations from any other compatible file format.
It is so rich that there is quite a learning curve!
I am a new user and have not run into problems so far. The only catch is that in file conversion, some features of the imported file may be lost. The great benefit is the Responsive Project and the ease of file sharing if exported in a widely recognized format.
Training videos were engaging and interactive
Nothing that I can think of - I think a lot of its usefulness has to do with the knowledge of the creator using the product.
Creating training videos that are engaging and interactive.
The simplistic format that enables me to accomplish the end in mind
I like everything about the way the program
Leadership training for organizations
It has made editing documents very easy to use for me.
I am very satisfied with the program so far.
I have not come across any problems while utilizing Adobe Captive Prime LMS to date. A benefit for me and my coworkers would be that it has created an array of self development opportunities internally for us to participate in.
Easy to use and scale learning experiences
Training opportunities to gain new skills
Compliance training and measurement
I find the easy usability as the best feature of the platform.
I do not have any negative comments, as always.
Keep a well organized platform for all work tracking of employees, task, projects etx
The ease of use, features, and functionality of the product are all really good.
It can take a little while to learn all the ins and outs of the product but once you do it’s an breeze.
It’ made it easy for me to complete a free lance job that required me to create an e-learning program.
I love that I can upload from Adobe Captivate directly to Captivate Prime.
It has taken us more time than we thought
The problem we want to solve is to organize our training and make our training better. We are realizing that when we go live we will be training our staff better.
I like that it's fairly intuitive, and easy to use if you use other adobe programs. Other adobe programs integrate very well.
The Powerpoint conversion isn't the greatest, and it's not super easy to edit across the storyline. You need to enter each slide individually.
We can make our online learning more interactive and interesting than the usual powerpoint and PDF's.
The logical learning path & interim quizzes help reinforce the content.
Some of the videos are too slow & wordy.
Tool expertise & certification
The ease of use and integration into Adobe Captivate are huge time savers. Admin and end use alike are simple to comprehend and quick to learn.
The lack of a dedicated ecommerce tool is disappointing.
We are able to streamline the process for how our customers are able to access learning materials and the new platform has helped us to rethink and realign our strategy.
A Simple and Sensible LMS for Modern Digital learners Without Unwanted Features.
Adobe's DNA is missing to an extent in this product.
No major issues so far. Course Creation, Certification and other Works flows are like Instant Cofee. I spend very very less time in Administering the LMS.
very intuitive, useful and worth all the money paid
The downside is that it could be quicker, and lasting
It solved most problems I had
A reliable place to host my projects that is built from the ground up from this application
not enough features to justify the added price, not user friendly
interaction, power point replacement
Last year we were in the process of picking an LMS for our company and I got to do a few trials. Coming from a big company like Adobe, Captivate Prime was the most user-friendly out of all the LMSs I tried, and likely one of the most flexible.
We were on a tight budget, and while most LMS include at least the capability to create simple multiple-choice evaluations, Captivate Prime wouldnt even include this, as they have a separate tool just for content creation: Adobe Captivate. Being on a budget, having to get an additional piece of software just to create the evaluations kept us from buying it. But the short time we used it, we could tell it was an incredibly powerful LMS.
Online training. Easy to configure online courses.
We found it to be very easy to use. The team thought it was a bit pricey.
Price was a concern but we like the value given. The focus should be placed on value versus price
Providing LMS for those looking to offer online courses
Adobe Captivate LMS is intuitive but also has an impressive help database if required. Easy to use as a non-technical person and very soon, I was on my way to producing my first story.
Not such a dislike, however, there are so many available features, it is easy to get lost in how much time spent learning all the elements, so you know what to use.
Once you earn the basics, you really pick up the pace in producing the end product.
I like the functionality of it and how easy it is to use.
I do not dislike anything about Captivate.
Makes training for me so much easier!
