The most helpful part of Bamboo are all the tutorials that are available...they are informative and easy to follow.

Sometimes it feels like we have more product than what we need and I wish there was more support when it comes to state withholdings....we still have a lot of things that we do manually that I wish were more automated.

Bamboo is solving the problem of processing payroll which helps to free up my time for other projects.

There are many features I have wanted in other HRMS tools that always seemed to be missing. BambooHR has them. Some examples are a PTO balance and calculator, a list of birthdays, a list of when people in the company are on PTO, and more. I have worked at countless other companies where I wanted these features but they weren't present.

I wish that BambooHR allowed for more granular controls. For instance I would want to see how many people signed a specific document but can't do that unless I have the permission to see how many people signed all documents.

BambooHR helps me with my own uses such as PTO tracking and calculations. It also helps me know about new employees so I can complete necessary on boarding tasks for them like assigning training upon their start date.

How quickly any issues I have are resolved. The real time responses are great in the live chat.

I wish there was a little easier of a way to write an overview of someone to look back over. I know there are Notes I can leave but it would be nice to have the note pop up next to the persons name when I search them.

Aplicant tracking is much more centralized, which I love. This is no fault of Bamboo's but I do wish I could link all of my external job posts through Bamboo too. For instance, since the visability of the posts Bamboo puts on indeed is lower than the paid posts, I also have a payed indeed account, and it would be really nice to be able to track those applicants through bamboo as well.

I can stor EE docs simply by ea EE, can send docs for sig electronically, keeps things organized. I track time off, benefits, etc. Very user friendly.

I just need to carve out some time to learn more about what Bamboo can do for us.

How the interface is user friendly and easy to access

When it comes to the performance tab, there is restrition to auto trigger the assessment for probationary employees

I have been using BambooHR for the past 3 years and it has been a very good experience so far. The things that I like about BambooHR are: I can easily apply for leave and also see my colleagues who are on leave and what holidays are coming up. I also like the directory option where I can see my whole organization and their professional information. I also like the feature about posting jobs and its job portal features where I can see all the applicants' information and from there itself I can select or reject candidates for the next rounds. I use it on regular basis and also integrated with Slack so that I get notified about any new notifications.

I like all the features it has right now, but I think it can add some default messages for sick leaves or any leaves so that we can use it without having to write it ourselves.

BambooHR is solving multiple problems for the organization like helping maintain everyone's leaves and maintaining everyone's device information. It has been a great help in posting jobs and during the recruitment process.

The simplicity and ease of use for Administrators and for Employees. The number of features is very nice. The time tracking has been very beneficial for our company. Anytime I have a question, I receive a quick response from Customer Service.

I do not really have anything negative to say.

We started using the time tracking system which elimiated the old paper time cards and has been so much better and easier. Especially for Managers when approving time and HR when submitting time to Corporate.

A streamlined program that automates our process. Performance Management and goal setting are great. Signature templates are awesome. The program is so easy to use. Implementation and customer support were easy. We use the program regularly to send announcements to all employees.

We would like more fields available for creating our own reports including performance assessments.

BambooHR helps us to make sure we are compliant with laws and regulations with all employee relations and files.

It's very easy to use. We are a medium size company and it fits our needs very well.

I wish that some of the apps available for integration be free, especially the ones created by Bamboo HR. Also, it'd be nice if the system didn't log you out after some time of inactivity.

Bamboo HR is a turnkey solution to all the HR needs of our company size (medium).

First off, it's got a great asthetic, and they pay attention to those details. But it isn't just pretty, (2) it's so intuitive, making it easy for everyone to use. It didn't take me long to learn how to utilize all the options to help ease my job as an HR professional, but it's been so easy for every user to use. I rarely get questions from my people asking me how to find something or do what they are supposed to in it. Third, their customer service is top notch. Always easy to get ahold of and always so helpful (and kind while assisting). Fourth, they offer great webinars, podcasts, and an HR slack community with great content - it really shows that they know the HR world, and really care about enabling us to do great work. As if you needed more reasons, implementation was a joy, and SO easy. And if you need resources to help with performance and culture pulse checks, their performance add on and included eNPS and wellness surveys are (again) so easy to use, and customize.

We would love to use their payroll add on, but they don't offer a discount to non-profits for it, like they do on the HR side. That's made it outside of our price range. Really, I'm hard pressed to find something that I dislike about my Bamboo!

I like that we are able to customize all of the onboarding and hiring functions. Document signing is really well done. Job posting is also easy to use since it automatically posts and attaches correspondence independently.

I don't really have a downside off the top of my head.

The thing I love most about BambooHR is that it is super user friendly. That coupled with their extensive implementation program and their quick response customer service team make using BanbooHR super easy to navigate so I don't spend all day doing HR things.

The only thing that we can't do with BambooHR is pay one person off of multiple pay schedules, however, I do believe they are working to make this change.

BambooHR makes onboarding super streamlined for us. We can add a new employee and send a welcome packet and they do the rest! Also, they're payroll system is so easy to use, especially if you use their time tracking. Just a few clicks and payroll is done!

From Admin standpoint, tailoring capabilities to access levels, TO policies, and reports to match our organization's unique needs has never been easier. File management is easy to navigate. The onboarding process for new employees has become remarkably smooth, thanks to the BambooHR intuitive design. The system truly transformed our HR processes, making them more efficient and aligned with our organizational goals.

I can't say that I don't like something specific. I have been submitting user feedback to their dev team for years on extra customization we'd like to see and find useful, and some of that was even implemented along the way.

BambooHR streamlined admin tasks, improved our onboarding, simplified hiring process, made self-service for empoyees very efficient, and enhanced reporting and decision making for our organization.

I love the ease of use for all functions of the HRIS. The implementation was super easy as well. Every time I have needed to utilize the customer support they have been very helpful.

The only thing that could make BambooHR better would be more integrations with benefits administration. I know this is new and coming, so I am just being patient.

It is great to have everything in one system and not have to switch between several systems to see all of your employee information.

BambooHR is great for managing employee records, keeping track of leaves, and storing employment documents. It has reduced the time admin spends on data entry and answering employee requests for vacation. The user experience is great, employees can login and view all their information in one place, request leave, and access their employment documents. The reports feature has been very useful as well. It has cut down dramatically on the amount of time it used to take to pull together reports manually. Implementation was also easy. Our implementation manager was very helpful and responsive and made the process very smooth. I use BambooHR every day and would definitely recommend it for companies looking to cut down on manual HR processes.

One of the things which is currently missing from Bamboo is a retention rate metric. It's possible to see turnover rate, but not retention rate. While Bamboo supports multiple currencies, it does not have a feature which can convert salaries to a home currency automatically. This would be a great addition in the future!

It helps store all HR information in a central place so that it is very easy to find when needed. BambooHR has also made it easy to run reports quickly, rather than having to manually pull them together from spreadsheets. It has cut down on a lot of admin time spent manually entering and tracking vacations. This enables us to focus on larger HR tasks.

We have a very small company and switching over to a digital time clocking system was a big deal for us. Bamboo made it easy. They're app was great even our most anti-technology employees. The interface and design is very easy to understand. It has made our jobs in the office much easier and efficient. Switching everything over to the digital world was also easier with Bamboo. Our sales rep and customer support team have always been very helpful.

I wish that it was more compatitable with quick book pay system, but other wise its been a breeze.

We didn't have an accurate time keeping system. Bamboo is providing all of the time keeping that we need.

I love the simple and intuitive interface and how we no longer need to worry about keeping records and personnel data. And the main thing - managers have access to much more insights and have tools to be more attentive to their directs and work with their development.

The system is very intuitive and easy to use. There is a functionality to fit every need of our company. BambooHR has been especially great for our onboarding process. The customer support team is also amazing.

I like the ability to easily access most of my information and to see who is out for the day. I also like that I can see all of the employees in my organization and where they're based (since my company is fully remote, I don't have an opportunity to meet or talk to everyone regularly). I also find it really easy to book time off.

It would be nice if payroll was also accessible here, but I think my company does it via a different platform. Not sure if that's because Bamboo doesn't support it or not.

It is very well organized. I like that it is user-friendly when it comes to sections. You can find an employee and their direct reports and manager right away. Also, all paid/unpaid/sick leaves are easy to request.

The site is locking you out after a 10 min of not using it.

Requesting all types of leaves are so easy. Another thing is that you have historical data from years ago and you have organized sections. I use it on a daily basis. I like that there is a calendar with all missing employees for the day.

Allows us to keep all employee-related information and processes in one place. We use it for new employee onboarding, former empoloyee offboarding, payroll history, recruiting, and document storage.

TRAX payroll service, while convenient for the integration with BambooHR, isn't as user friendly as some of the more common payroll services.

All employee-related information is at my fingertips. If I'm considering a pay raise, for example, it's really easy to see an employee's salary history. If I need to post a job, it's easy for me to reactive (and edit) past job openings, and then manage communication with candidates. I also appreciate the automated promotion of open positions. New employee onboarding is also easy to execute with the tasks we've assigned in Bamboo.
