I have always appreciated Bitwarden for its function as a password manager, but after having trouble with my password and having to get a new account, Bitwarden not only functions wonderfully as a password manager but has excellent customer service. Customer service was quick and efficient and I have no complaints. I will continue to use Bitwarden as long as it continues to function as is.

There are no downsides to using Bitwarden except when I forget my own password.

Bitwarden was easily able to transfer my Premium account after having to delete and recreate an account for use.

Bitwarden is a fantastic password manager. The UI is straight forward to use. The free tier makes good password management accessible to everyone. On the desktop, the browser extensions work really well. I like how the password manager minimises itself to the system tray if you decide to manually copy passwords. Sharing passwords with other people in your organisation is straight forward. No more sending passwords via messages. Customer support is brilliant. Response times are very quick and very friendly.

Minor points - would like to see some basic features introduced like * The ability to drag and drop records into folders * When saving a new record, go to the record rather than back to the main screen

Improves security posture

Im just gonna jump in; the one thing users should consider when using a password manager is, what is happening underneath the hood. Here is where Bitwarden wins. Their open source model is available for scrutiny by security experts and the community, this removes any worry that something egregious is happening within the Bitwarden company and allows the community to come together and find potential security risks. Second thing; User friendly. I cannot tell you how many times my clients and I dropped a service because the implementation was just too difficult. Bitwarden is very easy to use, very easy to implement and integrate. I have it on my OSX, Linux and Windows machines, as well as my iPhone. The process of adding, editing and even updating passwords is just a striaght forward process. I always say; if you have to explain the user interface, you already failed. Bitwarden wins here, again. Now lets talk about affordability. Right now, times are tight, so what does Bitwarden offer? A very generous array of features for invididuals to secure their computer without spending a single cent. How can you beat free, robust and dependable? Its the trifecta of awesomeness. Bitwarden also has 2FA capabilities, encrypted file storage, and more options for their very affordable paid plan. You'd think with the extra paid features you're gonna break your wallet but nope, once again, Bitwarden is priced perfectly and reasonably if you do decide you want more features. As someone who dropped a certain password manager "Last" year or so, I picked up Bitwarden to replace that and I couldn't be happeier. I use Bitwarden every single day and if it wasn't for Bitwarden, me and my family would have gone bonkers with how many passwords we have floating between our paid services. Last thing I want to talk about is their customer service. I recently reached out with an issue that I was absolutely sure the Bitwarden team was just gonna give me some canned response and send me off... NOPE! You are talking to real humans who actually take the time to respond and comprehend your issues. I cannot stand a company that just brushes off their clients because you're client #9000. Bitwarden treats you like client #1 at all times, every time. A very special shoutout to Kirsty K, who was instrumental in attending to my issue within a day! Who does that anymore??? Bitwarden does. Do yourselves a favor, drop whatever rinky dink password manager you're using and jump on Bitwarden, it is an S-Tier system, ran by professionals and guided by a very vocal and active community. The only one thing I wanted was more than 1GB of encrypted storage. I have ~12 GB'S of important documents, PDF's, excel sheets etc that I would like to drop into an encrypted medium. I know, im greedy, I get it. But gimme more storage! Thank you.

At a time where websites want you to sign up for an account for everything, Bitwarden steps in to help with password overload. Too many accounts, too many passwords. Well, im just gonna use the same one every time because its just too hard to keep making new passwords, potentially lose them or get hacked, and still have to worry about remaining functional on a day to day. This leaves people opened to hacks that will allow bad actos to fish out your repeated password across sites. With Bitwarden, just use the built in generator and BOOM, done. New password every time, for every account and all you have to be concerned with is the 1 master password. Do not let hackers see you slipping because you got lazy (as I did) and used the same password for everything. Need to share a password? Bitwarden allows you to do this very securely to ensure that nobody gets hold of your secrets. Bitwarden has also helped me personally with data breach alerts that I was (thankfully) able to quickly act on. Cant be too careful anymore. And for those who say "I have nothing to hide", you do not get to decide that, the bad actors do and they will use it against you. Protect yourselves with Bitwarden ASAP!

I put a lot of faith into Bitwarden to keep my valuable information safe and secure. I couldn't imagine a world without a password manager, especially in this day and age where using any password for more than one account is a terrible idea. It's a solid product, has never failed me, has an easy to understand UI, and it literally works on any device that I need to use it on (phone, Mac, PC, tablet, etc).

I don't have any serious dislikes about Bitwarden - other than the fact if you have an older Mac, the auto-update feature can be a bit problematic, but all you have to do is reach out to the developers to get some specific help. They were lightning fast in responding directly to me with my 'older Mac' issue after I filled out their help request form. The reason for this auto-update functionality makes sense to me though.

Bitwarden helps me manage my very long list of passwords, as I strictly follow the "never use the same password for more than one account" philosophy. I couldn't manage my passwords without this application. It also makes it easy for me to use and find passwords quickly.

Aside from the ease of use, the price! We switxhed from 1password because the price was just ridiculous. Couldn't justify paying that much. We have about 50-60 users, so it adds up. Service is also great!

Secure notes has a limit. They fired their employee because of woke culture crap that's been a bit shocking we almost quit bitwarden. I cant' remove my self from organizaton.

having organizaton and sharing only those credentials which are needed for certain deps is extremaly comfortable. the fact that it's open source and we can host it ourselves + using mobile apps and it's all cross platform is just insane. Nowadays barely any company gives such flexbility in opensource world.

Bitwarden stands out for its ability to uncomplicate the issues and intricacies associated with password management. In Bitwarden, I discovered a solution that perfectly caters to my needs.

I wish for an enhanced UI experience. While the current one isn't necessarily bad, there's room for significant improvement. Another minor concern for me is the absence of a loading indicator or notification when unlocking the vault after the session has begun and the master key is entered, particularly noticeable in the Chrome or Firefox plugin.

I used to store all my password in a notebook or in excel. I used other password managers then I found Bitwarden. It has more features the others and is so much cheapaer then every one I used to use. I love how easy it is to get started and add new logins. Plus I can use it on multiple comptuers without it logged in out on one computer. Probably the best software I have found!

Robust settings, where you can set your password to be shown only on specific pages (like I show database passwords only on the page which I use to login to databases, not on all domain pages).

Password protection of bank cards is very annoying as you can't copy all the fields without entering the password multiple times (as the browser extension closes its window and asks you to re-enter the password when you reopen it).

I have been using Bitwarden for more than three years now, and I use it every day. In fact before I've written this review I authenticated to G2 with credentials stored in it. It is fairly easy to set up and to use, so much so, that I taught my grandmother how to use it, to help her combat issues online security that most elderly people have. It covers all grounds for a perfect password manager, and the ability to self-host and manage your own instance is satisfying my paranoid-for-privacy needs. From what I have seen it can be easily integrated with Company SSO's, so setting it up in Corporate environments should be a breeze. I love the fact that it's Open Source, as it provides transparency into the project. I had reviewed it's source code couple of times

Although I paid for the "Premium" plan for Bitwarden, because I wanted to support it's creators, I really don't like the way that they paywalled some security features for their customers (such as TOTP, that you cannot self-host). Subscriptions they offer are more than affordable, sure, but i just cannot push the idea of putting a price tag on a feature so common through my head, while there are many alternatives that are free (although proprietary).

Thanks to Bitwarden, I can store all my password and more easily with just a few clicks. I was previously an user of LastPass, but once I found Bitwarden, I loved it. It's easy to use and the password generation tool is great, I always use it and also remembers me if I want to save the password of a website I haven't saved, so that's a cool thing. I've been using it for a few years and I would recommend it to anyone, including business.

I can't share certain passwords with specific users, I need to share the whole vault and that the phone application sometimes fails to detect the login form for certain apps or websites.

It helps me to create unique safe passwords and also storing them in a secure vault. Bitwarden has give me peace of mind as I don't have to keep remembering all the passwords for all the websites that I use

Bitwarden has a lot of features that make it really convenient to use a password manager. The desktop experience with the browser extension is great, as I can easily autofill logins and generate passwords when I create new accounts. It was really easy to switch over to Bitwarden thanks to the automatic prompts to add my credentials every time I logged in to a new site. I also really love the mobile app - it's really great that I can essentially have the same experience on mobile with autofilling that I do on desktop. I use Bitwarden super often - I rely on it completely for logging in and signing up.

I do wish it was possible to autofill card details on mobile, as that is something I really appreciate on desktop but isn't on mobile. It would also be cool if I could integrate Bitwarden with 2FA in order to make two-factor sign in easier.

As someone with a background in cybersecurity, I am very aware of how important it is to make secure passwords online. One of the biggest pitfalls that I was falling into before I started using Bitwarden was reusing passwords. With all the breaches that have occurred lately, if your password gets breached it would be trivial for an attacker to gain access to all the other accounts you have. One of the most important things that Bitwarden allows me to do is to make unique, secure passwords for every site that I am on. This gives me peace of mind and allows me to remove the mental burden of remembering all the passwords for all the sites that I am registered for.

It's super easy to use and saves soo much time compared to remembering passwords or having to constantly reset them. I also really like that I'm able to securely store my credit card information to easily access this data cross-device.

Honestly, I haven't found anything yet that I don't like about the platform.

It helps me save both my personal and professional passwords, as well as access passwords for shared work accounts. This makes it easy to have one central account that people access without everyone knowing the password.

Bitwarden is pretty straightforward to use, as it has multiple options that suggest to save passwords from websites that it doesn't have a password saved for. This is actually great, as I sometimes forget to save my passwords when I create an account in a new website. Additionally, I like that accessing the passwords doesn't even require clics, as they have a keyboard shortcut that auto completes the fields to log in on the website. I use this feature every day to access my work-related tools. Additionally, it's very easy to integrate it with your existing workflow, because as soon as you install the Chrome plugin (which is how I use it), it starts working like a charm immediately! I also like the password generation feature with different security options like generating a password or a passphrase, with or without capital letters, special characters, etc., which makes it super helpful in websites where you have to comply with certain characteristics for the password.

The only downside I see from Bitwarden is the difficulty to share credentials/add people to the vaults so they can gain access to the accounts (from the Chrome plugin, which is what I use on my workflow). That makes it hard to share credentials with new team members, or share only one website's credentials with someone, instead of the whole vault.

Using so many different websites a day is already a challenge, but trying to remember the passwords for all of them (especially if they don't offer SSO) is a NIGHTMARE. For work, especially in technology, workers are required to create secure passwords, different for each website, to avoid as much as possible data leaks, security risks, etc., which means no two website logins can have the same password. Now, that is very safe, but it is very hard to also keep track of all the passwords securely (not writing them down on paper or laptop notes because, spoiler: that's super unsafe). So having Bitwarden actually helps me store all my passwords and logins in a single place where I know they'll be safe, and which I can access any time I need. Additionally, the feature to generate secure passwords is a life saver to actually have safer passwords for my work-related accounts and comply with my companie's cyber security policies.

I love how easy it is to setup, use and integrate it with whatever I want! It has countless features and they all work perfectly, be it on the app, desktop, web browser or whatever else you choose! I use it daily and can't see myself without it anymore! Even when I need support, it's super easy to get it since the project is open-source.

Nothing to mention, really. The app goes above and beyond!

Since the password requirements have been growing the last few years (for instance: they should have 16+ characters and so on), I needed to invent new passwords that I wasn't able to remember completely. Bitwarden keeps me on track with every single one I have to create or update now! I don't even use the same password everywhere anymore: I generate random and safe ones to keep my accounts even more protected, using one of Bitwarden's features.

It makes logging in to services much more easier. I used to reuse password, now I have strong passwords everywhere. Not to mention that I don't have to worry about losing a password because my devices broke.

The app does look a bit dated when compared to modern applications. It could use a good brush up. Also, I would prefer to have a generate username and password option overlay on the signup form itself. Switching between the app ruins the experience. Also sometimes, when filling in forms, especially in signup forms, the forms are filled with the wrong values (email address got filled in password field and password in confirm password field).

Bitwarden helped me stop reusing passwords. It was rather easy to import all my old passwords. From there I knew what services I signed up for and what passwords I had to change. Did I mention that it also allowed me to save the recovery keys for MFA?

I have been using Bitwarden for a long period and I must admit, the user-friendly designs of both the desktop and the browsers’ extensions are really great. It was very easy to install it to my cell phone and other devices, allowing me to keep all of my secure keys in one place. Specifically, I particularly like the fact that it can create robust passwords that improve my online security. However, I find it very convenient that the phone I use relies on a self-locking mechanism and also it has a fingerprint recognition. I also loved exporting my data as backups which gave me peace of mind.

However, forgetting your master-password may be a little bit of a problem because Bitwarden cannot store its password on the user. Indeed, this is beneficial for security, but sometimes, you might forget the keys.

Thanks to bitwarden, I have managed to organize all my numerous accounts and credentials which previously posed the problem of remembering different passwords.

The Robust password security policies are for us one of the most important upsides. Integration is very easy and works perfect. Also the customer support is fast and friendly.

What we dislike about bitwarden there is nothing I can say so far.

I like that I can have strong password suggestions, that I can keep all my passwords together and gather my card information in one place, without risk to my security or privacy. It is also useful that I can access it from my cell phone or a computer and it notifies me every time I log in. The start of use is very easy and intuitive, it does not require greater technical knowledge or customization time.

I would like the computer login to be as intuitive and useful as the phone application, since it works a little better on mobile devices, for example, allowing more specific customization of the strong passwords generated from the same application (on the mobile you can choose how many characters and if it has numbers, special characters, how many of each and if I want to avoid ambiguous characters)

It saves my banking and login information, I can also have notes saved safely, and it has a strong password creator for when I create a new account. Prevents me from using unsafe passwords or forgetting them and having to constantly recover them, without putting my security at risk

Bitwarden keeps improving year over year, methodically adding features that make sense with the ever changing password management paradigm.

My only pain point now, is convincing and educating my coworkers how and why using a password manager like Bitwarden improves their workflow.

Bitwarden helps my organization manage passwords, providing access to the right person, at the right time. My coworkers don't have to stress about creating unique login credentials or forgetting what those credentials are. Administratively, I can feel confident I am sharing credentials securely and I can easily audit and update access to those credentials when necessary.

The UI is not very easy to follow on the first time you want to set a public vault through the extension. Also if you have to enter a password in a new pop-up window it is not easy to do it with the extension, you have to copy and past from the original window, took me a while to find a strategy for that on the first time doing this.
