I like that Box is GDPR (general data protection regulatory ) compliant, which is the highest level when it comes to accredited data protection for software end users. Beyond the above, Box provides me with complete control of my files in the cloud by giving me independent control of my encryption keys , thus making me custodian of the keys used for encrypting my files.

On occasions, I have suddenly seen Box suddenly stop synchronizing. Thus requiring me to restart my computer device before I am able to access my latest updated files across my different devices.

Data storage is the primary problem I am solving with Box. The major benefit derived from Box is the security of the files I save on the platform.

Love that we can provide different levels of access based on what they really need. Plus the ability to share easily both inside and outside our organization.

There's a bit of a learning curve with all of the features and we've run into issues with maximum upload sizes with some of our media but that is an exception not a rule.

The ability to store all of our Media in one place and organize it across our teams has been invaluable. Additionally, we've been able to optimize the process for adding media to our e-commerce site by using box as a centralized storage platform. Bringing our sites pictures and images and video directly into the site from box.

I like Box end-to-end data protection security option. This approach to file security helps protect all of my Box saved files using strong user authentication features and granular permissions. Beyond just securing my files, Box also provides me with audit trails for every of my files, ensuring that I can follow all modifications made to team files and determine who made what modifications, and the time which such modifications were made.

At the moment, Box does not provide an effective simultaneous editing functionality. Thus , in situations where-in there are multiple people working on the same file in real time, Box struggles to capture the changes made.

Box makes it extremely easy to save sensitive files and assets in a central cloud location.File and content security is the greatest benefit I have gotten from using Box in my personal space and at work.

Box is very easy to navigate and to organize all your assets in one place. In addition, the files can be shared easily among internal and external colloborators.

The downside of Box is there is a file size limitation. Some files that are large in size are unable to be added/synced to Box, so you must share via another software.

A benefit of Box is we are able to store important documents, assets, files, etc, all in one place. In addition, Box allows us to send assets to internal and external associates in a quick and efficient manner.

Box is exceptionally user-friendly. It makes team collaboration easy. Working with clients and partners becomes a lot smoother with the software. Having their application on my computer has made syncing and uploading files to a shared drive really easy, making it a better and easier to use alternative to Dropbox.

I believe there are some improvements that could be done in the graphical interface and sometimes there is some issues when using a Mac. edditing files is also not as simple as other softwares available.

Box is helpful for collaboration with teams. Sharing documents and files is very simple, making work from home or collaborating with partners a lot easier and seamless. Having the ability to create and share folders that are viewable and downloadable without the user needing to create an account or login makes the experience much more enjoyable to clients who do not want an account, as other softwares available require.

The ability to have multiple collaborators access, edit, and upload documents of any type is fantastic. We all love being able to directly edit the files in the box with the plugin, thus avoiding the "I accidentally forgot to upload the new version" issue.

I wish that there were simpler ways to access files outside of a web browser, specifically on Mac.

The user interface is intuitive and simple. When files and folders do not need to be kept, you can choose to expire and destroy them, reducing security risks. A user can be added to documents as an editor, owner, or viewer.

Collaborative work on documents is not as intuitive as with Google Docs

We share assets in collaboration. My coworkers and I have benefited from the quick sharing of files.

Easy to upload the files , larger files also can be uploaded in a lesser time. uploading/downloading will not much time on box. we can create separate folders depends on our requirements. there is no limitation for uploads. it supposes all kind of file types. Its more secure way to share the files over the cloud. you can also set password for downloading you can also set link for expiration. you can also limit the audience and also you can make multiple owners for each folders and files.

Sometimes the shared links will get expired automatically. if we make another one as owner then we cant take the control back until the other one reverted back the access. If you are sharing a open link then it might be risk. As i said earlier shared links will get expired automatically sometimes.We need to share the same link generating again with the user all the time. USer access is getting reverted frequently. File upload takes some extral though it is depends on the network, over all upload takes some extra time.

Sharing files between host machines and VM. copy paste will not work between VM and base machines. such situations . box helps us a lot to share the files and folders. We can share the folders with any one even beyond the organization securely. Its easy to access. The main advantage of using the box is we can share the box files securitly with multple organization.

Audit trails - Box has the best audit trail feature of any file storage platform I have used. With the Box audit trail feature, I successfully monitor activities around my personal files. This is very helpful, when I need to know know who made what changes to my shared contents. Collaboration -Box makes it convenient for me to access my saved content from anywhere, organize my saved content and search through tons of files to locate the right file without issues. File sharing through Box has been a pleasant experience for me too. Lastly, Box integrates well with the most critical applications I am using in the workplace.

Box does not support simultaneously editing documents, alongside with fellow users in real time. While this is a common feature on substitute file storage programs, it's a shame that Box doesn't allow this.

Box offers maximum security for my saved content, and it also integrates well with Microsoft 365 which alllows me use Microsoft 365 applications alongside with Box storage.

The graphical view of Box smartphone application needs a lot of improvements. Its version control feature can be a lot better too.

Dicha herramienta se ha convertido en unas de mis preferidas, me ha ofrecido un enfoque más corporativo, ayudándome en mis quehaceres empresariales y siendo muy útil al momento de almacenar grandes cantidades de archivos. Asimismo les comento que la he utilizado de manera muy efectiva y eficiente para trabajar con Mac OS y también con Windows, sirve de igual manera para aplicaciones móviles como iOS y Androide. Por lo antes expuesto me gusta esta aplicación.

Al respecto reseñare un punto muy particular que se trata de su funcionalidad la cual la considero algo limitada para cuentas de usuarios privados.

Con relación a este punto, reseñare que unos de mis principales inconvenientes resueltos es que ahora pude organizar en un espacio de almacenamiento hasta de 10 GB mis archivos. de forma mucho más segura y eficiente. En cuanto a los beneficios obtenidos, Box me ha ofrecido una gran cantidad de bondades como por ejemplo; accedo a mis archivos fácilmente desde mi computadora, teléfono o tablet sin ningún tipo de inconveniente. De igual forma puedo acceder a fotos, videos, cierta información financiera, además puedo mantener todo organizado en carpetas, y trabajar cómodamente. Es todo lo que reseñare al respecto.

I used Box working for an IT company and it is like Dropbox but much more secure and designed to store secure financial documents that can be edited by a team like a budget.

I cannot thing of any downsides to Box. I highly recommend.

Box allowed many members of our Finance team to update and collaborate on Financial analysis that we wanted to keep secure from any outside hackers and also internal employees. Our IT team had access to our entire network so Box was secure to us.

I like how Box allows multiple users and sharing across users. I also like how there is an application for the computer so you do not have to access via web browser each time.

I wouldn't say I like the organizational layout of the files on Box. It cannot be customized for optimal organization purposes.

Box has given me ample space to be able to store important work documents and have the security and confidence that they will always be safe; I can directly review and manage everything quickly and view my library without taking hours to get the document I am looking for. It is a highly customizable platform; impressively, it is easy to handle. The customer service is attentive, and the accessibility to Box is broad; it can be from my computer or my cell phone.

I want the costs to be better adjusted; similar platforms offer the same services for better prices. It would be ideal to be able to get cheaper access.
