The ease of uploading files and sharing it with colleagues
I wish there was a root directory on the right panel so you can click and skip through going to and from the folder layers
Processes, reports. The ease of extracting data and the collaboration with colleagues having it updated.
Easy to use. Platform is powerful to preview, share, and edit online most common files as office files. Ability to track changes with versioning. restore files after deleting them. move files within box without need to change links to those files. extremely secure and compliant.
Not possible to have a public folder. Unable to work simultaneously on a file. Not possible to create favorites on desktop folder as shortcuts.
Storing all data in just one place. Chances of losing data are very small. Access to files from anywhere at anytime.
The security that our borrowers expect of us is easily shown with the Box. There's no question that the security is tight since it's a two-way street with borrower and processor and is password protected 100% of the time.
Notifications of newly uploaded documents aren't specific with what documents were uploaded. Sometimes those notifications don't even come!
We are creating a secure location for borrowers to upload sensitive documents. They often find it easier than dropping of physical documents and easier than faxing documents.
Provides unlimited storage and has a user-friendly interface.
The data can sometimes be at risk due to encryption issues.
Problems in the healthcare industry.
The online user interface and storage $/GB are generally better than most other competitors.
I feel like there could be more support for other devices and faster sync with a more complete desktop application. The desktop application is hard to open and does not sync as fast as the internet connection I am using.
It helps me keep all my files in one place and share what is necessary with ease. I have not encountered any business problems related to my use of Box to sore my company files.
I like using box because the interface is straightforward and easy to use. It is very clear how to upload files or folders, how to add or remove files or folders, and generally how to navigate within folders. These folders can be made public or shared with other people, which makes working with others easy. I work in an office that puts most files on a shared drive that can only be accessed from the office or through Citrix. Using box, another secure file storing platform, allows me to store and share files and folders with others more easily, as I often have to work remotely. Having access to sync Box to my desktop is also a nice feature.
What I dislike about Box is pretty much nothing. It is user friendly, straightforward, and does not overload the user will unnecessary bells and whistles; features that are there more for advertising power than productivity.
My office has been able to solve remote work issues that slowed down our productivity. I work at multiple sites with a number of different physicians whose hours are inconsistent. Knowing I can share a file with them that is not going to get blocked by email because it is too large adds security and consistency to our workflow.
Box is easy to use and easy to manage. The security features also make it possible to keep all of your confidential files safe and secure. Single Sign On works great and so do the connections to Office Online & Google Drive. One thing that a lot of our users have been using is Box for Office. It makes for seamless integration between box and Office 2016. The ability to integrate across many platforms is also amazing. We're using it to connect to various platforms on the backend. Our developers find it quite easy to work with the Box Platform.
Inability to share individual files has been a bit of a pain. Also the fact that you need to have an account to edit is also a bit of a pain. It drives our users towards other platforms when engaging with External Partners. Box Drive is still also in beta and does not yet sync, so our users have not wanted to try it out yet. Some of them rely heavily on the Box Sync capability.
One of the largest problems we've had was the ability to share files across the org. Prior to box, it was a plethora of shadow IT and some disperse inaccessible file servers. Now it's quick to invite someone to a folder or send someone a shared link.
Everything in one place, keep invoices, pictures, customer's notes.
Sometimes I wish it would sync up better with my mobile device
Just so nice to have everything right there, when you need it most
The ability to upload many documents at once, ease with which to navigate between folders, and the ability to fine tune who can access/edit/share content within folders
search capabilities are not very advanced (I.e. typing in search terms brings up hundreds of pages of results since you can’t search only by title/name of uploader/etc
Keeping track of legal documents, organizing documents within folders and sub folders for easy access. Makes pulling documents later on when needed much easier
Robust features, ease of use, application parity across platforms, mobile access, amazing customer support, and product manager/company executive access.
That I now have even less patience with all other technology providers because Box has set the bar for what a customer experience should always be.
Broken our content silos to provide access to all content across all of our offices in a highly organized manor. Several benefits realized for users through workflow efficiencies, content searching, collaboration, and data analytics. Company is now realizing benefits including server decommissioning and reduction in IT consulting services.
We love how much storage we are given at a free rate and the non-pushy attitude to upgrade.
Doesn’t integrate as well as Dropbox or iCloud or google drive. But it is a really good choice for extra storage.
Storage of files for free. We run on a small budget and need space for cheap. I love the simple design and it is easy to use.
I love that we could share files within organization and it is also user friendly
I don't see any problems while using it yet.
The needed files for employees are kept in one place
I like that you can store a large amount of data on their servers and access it from your local file structure on the computer without having to actually take up space on your hard drive. They only cache a small amount on the local drive.
Their website can be confusing and is not as simple to use as Dropbox.
Sharing image and data files with other collaborators.
I like that you can view files that would otherwise be too large to send via email.
I have not found anything that I dislike about Box.
We're able to send links to large files that would otherwise clog our inbox.
Box user interface and storage options are much better than peers such as Dropbox and Google Drive.
I found the maximum file size is 250mb for a single file. Although competitors also have restrictions, I would like to see this improve in the future, as I was unable to store an ebook that was just over the size limit.
I use Box to create backups, store and organize my data. I found that it is easy to use and update.
This is a great resource to share files with people all over
Wish the sync was faster & didn’t create duplicates
Storing HR files
This is a serviced that helps easily store files and back them up so that you are always safe.
There is not really anything that I do not dislike about this system as it it basically provides with all features a business could need to collaborate and store files.
Box helps to store files and simultaneously collaborate with the team. Also it is very useful in terms of backing up files.
i like the ability to invite clients to specific folders
its be nice to search for file name plus who uploaded it.
At year-end, we file a lot of sensitive financial documents. Box is a safe and secure way to share these with or clients without the insecurity of email.
FREE 10 GB Storage, while dropbox only has free 2G
nothing... if really have to find anything, then .. most of my coauthors still use dropbox so I can't switch completely.
share research documents with coauthors
Super easy to share all your files with specific individuals or multiple individuals.
None!! This platform is one of the most flexible
File sharing and distribution
