You can use Celonis to analyze data from a majority of CRM systems. But the real strength is in the possibility of exploring processes whitin a company. Almost an instant identification of bottle necks in a process, cycle times, changes, reworks and an automation level enables a different point of view on what happens behind known areas. Deep diving into all details helps you to specify reasons for identified issues.

A visual side of Celonis may be smoother. However, this is not a typical visualization tool; therefore, there is no real need for it.

We mainly try to eliminate reworks.

The digital twin is an amazing feature to show the true variation in the process. Ability to look at the process from a 30,000 feet level to understand broad trends as well as zoom into an individual transcation seamlessly is very useful when doing root cause analysis. All the data needed for executing a Lean/Six-Sigma project is readily available. The dashboards can be customized to meet the needs of the business and tell the story in their langauage.

Not necessarily dislike - more like challenges.... It is not a quick journey. It takes time and effort to establish conenctions to the right tables in the SOR's. Still needs a lot of resources to come together to make the deployment siccessful.

We are using Celonis to help us identify opportunities to improve our Operational effectiveness. We are still early in our journey; but the results have been very promising!

Celonis has provided a never-seen-before view of business processes, identified improvement opportunities, and automated performance reporting. Celonis' implementation team executed on all levels to achieve project objectives on schedule. I strongly recommend considering Celonis' consulting services to augment internal resources. The consulting team was highly engaged, motivated, and continuously added value through system tuning, expanding analytical tools, and dashboard development. Putting catchy phrases and buzz words aside, the team truly cared about our business and took a personal stake in our success. We are better because of Celonis and the consulting representatives that supported our journey to achieve excellence.

It's difficult to say anything critical about Celonis and the team project team that worked collaboratively with our staff. Celonis rotated team members on and off during the engagement, which caused some concern; however, they maintained business continuity. Celonis' consulting team went above and beyond; their relentless drive and desire to help their clients is something I haven't since with other consulting engagements.

Celonis provided visibility into aspects of operations that were a black box; efficiency gains were necessary to remain competitive. Celonis provided a never-seen-before view of business processes, identified improvement opportunities, and automated performance reporting. The level of detail and precision Celonis' solutions offer allowed us to prioritize and focus resources on improvements that would deliver the most significant benefit.

The realtime nature of the solution and the insights it drives. Celonis visualizes the process and every single process variant to identify the most important execution gaps. The output of this process mining activity is then aggregated into easy-to-digest business views allowing users to analyse the most critical metrics to their process. Celonis offers a great way to identify where to start, especially for processes that seem hard to tackle at first glance.

Not much! If anything, for people considering implementing Celonis: Please appreciate that although connecting Celonis to your source-system will prove relatively easy, it's the validation of the data that will still require a lot of attention and time. Don't overpromise to your sponsor until you have gone through the full validation.

We are focused on our Accounts Payable and P2P processes. We needed to identify actions that could be taken to address low scoring KPI's. Celonis shows us the low-hanging fruit at a glance and provides the much-needed granular level insights. Not just an historical view of where we went wrong in the past, but rather insights into issues when they happen, where they happen, as they happen.

Any kind of process improvement can be easily identified by using Celonis. E.g. automation possibilities, risk minimalization, rework reduction, etc... Helps to make decision on lower and higher managerial level as well.

If someone is not involved into Celonis implementation process, it takes more time and effort to really understand the meaning of Celonis. Later joined colleagues are sometimes missing "Help button". :-)

Any kind of ad-hoc topic can be clarified immediately. Useful for post evaluation of a new system implementation. Spotting if any extraordinary event happens in a process --> action planning --> fixing. Support standardization approach by comparing different process flows. Perfect tool for decision making on every level (objective, clear, quantifiable).

Easy to implement, unlimited possibilites, continous development of new features, user friendly interface, increasing community and last but not least, gaining massive transparency within your data.

Hard to keep up with new features and possibilities in App store makes you feel like to miss opportunities. Service desk is sometimes slow in helping with issues.

Improvement of your Order-to-Cash process, in particular reducing cancellation quote, throughput time and on-time delivery. Also better understanding of supply chain while using Purchase-to-pay process.

The overall usability of the tool ......

There should be more information of the applications within the ems store. In that respect it would be nice to get more discribing text and a listing of the tables and conditions that must be met in order to build up the data model

Transparancy, Analyzing and Reporting

The ability to quickly visualize existing processes and view the different variants is key with this software. Particularly when working with Clients, the process and variant explorer captures most people's attention and instantly gives insight into areas that the business was unaware of! This software goes beyond the limitations of Visio and truly shows multiple dimensions that were difficult to see before.

The only thing that I have been underwhelmed by was the process repository. I think the functionality that I was accustomed to in Visio made this a disappointment to me. It would not be my first choice for designing the process flow.

The main problem that has consistently been solved with Celonis are identifying inefficiency in processes. No other software solution does this as seamlessly, making it very easy to digest. The benefits realized ranged from automation of processes, reduction in the timeline gap for communicating and follow-up within the workflow, and reduction in variations in the overall process.

What isn't in the most likely favor of this tool is:- PQL - requires better query builders that bring ease for the business users to build queries. GUI - extending the drag and drop functionality to build analysis quicker and not have to write formulas to perform various calculations

We analyze the client's finance-related pillars with Celonis. In addition, we use Celonis in order management, accounts payables, among other things. We are assessing the automation feasibility of workflows through Enterprise Management Platform solutions.

So feature-rich. Almost everything is possible as far as process mining is concerned

The Cost of the License is higher. This is the only factor that keeps few customers from opting for celonis

Celonis Intelligence Business Cloud processes data very quickly and the visualizations are extremely easy to build to showcase the value opportunity. Celonis staff are very passionate about what they do, and bring excellent perspectives to partner with their clients.

Celonis solution is so flexible and easy to use that even business users want to build visualizations. It is not something to dislike - however, thoughtful planning and execution plan needs to be in place to ensure proper change control is in place. Otherwise, the teams who manage the solution may get the victims of the solution's success.

Process inefficiencies in Order-to-Cash area to begin with and now expanding the scope to other functional areas. Actionable insights and improved processes are the results of each successful iteration.

Its strongly customer focused and help us in data analytics, reporting and integration with downstream systems

For any small tech support need to escalate else issue is not resovled

The application is very user-friendly, with information at your fingertips. The developers have been very easy to work with and have provided the agility to make changes as requested.

Now we can see from an undistorted perspective the entire course of each order, from creating the order proposal to the payment of the invoice to the supplier. The Celonis company provides us with many benefits beyond the application. They regularly consult with us on application development, offer training and presentations, and provide us with a Business Value Architect who does an excellent job. Software implementation was super easy thanks to the prepared installation packages and well-processed documentation.

Process Explorer functionality can be improved, such as keep the process views static, and if we add further connections, it shouldn't distort. The best example is if you see the PafNow process view.

There are numerous, which can't be explained. I can say a simple statement to quantify the usage, "wherever there is process data anybody can reapout the benefit out of Celonis". Few benefits which I can ghilight is- 1. Risk Mitigation 2.Reducing the wastage (Resource, wastage) 3. Easy value realization

Quick understanding of existing processes, with great modules like execution management system, action engine, and Celonis also provides well-defined tools to remove any gaps you have identified in your processes in real-time with rapid identification of process GAPS. Especially for SAP ERP systems predefined process connectors and analysis available. Great online training platform and training for different user roles.

Data models need to be fitted properly, we discovered a huge number of process variants and I was expecting that Celonis is also providing a methodology to deal with that issue, but it's up to you how you cluster and organize any further activties. Also you need deep process knowlegde or need to understand the process to make use of the data. Offcourse the price could be better, and any customization needs more expertise of the product.

I have digitalized the conventional value stream mapping through celonis and I have realized to view real-time and dynamic data from MES software installed in the production line. This live data has helped the production specialists to work on process improvements on the shopfloor.

The out-of-the-box available connectors to multiple source systems, which enable visualizations at a very rapid pace.

The claim by Celonis that almost everything can be done by business users and no technical support is needed, which is not true.

Celonis is an excellent tool for any company, no matter the size, to show you where you can improve your processes. It's quick and easy to set up new views. There are over 400 out-of-the-box dashboards/views that can be uploaded in a single click by any user. You can connect to many systems and data sources to bring a more holistic view to your work. The Variant Explorer is one of my favorites as it allows you to see a visual of your process and all the variations within. The animation shows where you have rework loops and where the process is taking the most time. Switch between case view and throughput time with one click, and the system highlights your problem areas. The online training is easy to use and allows for practice time in a different environment. Add in Automation and Machine Learning, and you have a very powerful tool to help you maximize the most from your business processes. I also have to call out the Celonis team themselves. They are with you every step of the way and provide non-stop support. Great company and team to work with.

I don't know that I can call anything out here right now. The hardest part for us was prioritizing what to work on first after seeing the results provided by Celonis and their team.

We started with 2 Use Cases: Shipped Not Billed, and Shipped Not Recorded. What have we shipped and not billed due to various issues, and what have we dropped a delivery note for and have not Post Goods Issued. Our Pilot ran for approx 3 months. We realized millions of dollars in revenue recovery along with uncovering process gaps for issues that had previously been identified but with no root cause. Celonis helped show us where the real problems were so we could get them corrected. We were able to put some Action Engine Signals in place based on the new root causes identified.
