Product roadmap feature has been very value addition to all/
In build reports in Jira would be more great.
Jira is giving a flexibility to build a product roadmap feature which helps the team to align
Task and Project Management Scrum Dashboard and Kanban Board Issue tracking and project workflow management Tracking on Epics and User story progress Issue following and task work process the board Following on Legends and Client story progress
Execution could be better, at some point scrum and kanban takes additional time and data transfer capacity to refresh Starting steup and work process configuration is minimal confounded No inbuilt coordinated effort elements to speak with the group Principally configuration in light of programming advancement and designing group to meet Coordinated improvement model, for some other advancement model it is difficult to configuration work process
Administration of Tasks and Projects Issue monitoring and project workflow management with the Scrum Dashboard and the Kanban Board Progress monitoring for epics and user stories Issue tracking and task management involve the board. Progressing with the Legends and Client narrative
Jira is very known as a tool to track your projects through tickets/epics/reports, but what I really like about it is how everything is integrated and how you have most of it at hand. Jira is an excelent solution if you need a space to organize your projects with agile methodologies.
Nothing, I think is one of the best tools if not the best one to track your bugs/issues while using agile methodology.
Organize our projects, from its creation with an epic to its delivery with QA sessiones. As a project management tool Jira help the administrators/scrum masters to have a very detailed report on how the teams are working and how things run smoothly.
Its easy to use, Easy to integrate and Easy to manage day to day activity. Superior function that easy to manage
Their pricing structure. Apart from the pricing, everything is fine
With this JIRA, We are able to manage the day to day tasks of our team and along with that we can check each and all thread so we can easily get an idea about progress.
Jira has a large number of tools to manage our projects, the correct follow-up to clients and many more, and all this through a wide set of options that are available online. The platform as a whole is highly intuitive and integrated with multiple providers, which has facilitated adoption in our organization, in addition to the fact that it has been designed to be fully collaborative and does not require a complex learning process. The parameterization is also very simple since it has multiple templates that we can use and from the beginning we can say that it is a very practical process and with a few steps we get going. The tool is simple to use both in small projects and in large applications, and traceability allows knowing the contributions of each team member without problems.
Jira is constantly updated, which can be seen as an advantage, and in fact it is, however these changes can raise some doubts when we are managing large projects with many dependencies, however, compatibility and usability remain very well focused and the impact on improvements often goes unnoticed. On the other hand, there is something that stands out and it is the possibility of incorporating members of the work team at any stage of our project without the need to worry about complex parameterizations related to group management and permissions.
With Jira we have been able to organize the tasks of the members of the work team, in addition to starting projects with the investment of very little time in the parameterization of the platform since it has complete templates for every need.
Some unique features include advanced filters, integrations, automation, easy-copy comments, and dynamic workflows.
Can improve on the dark theme and also in some instances where software taking time to load
Very easy tracking of Bugs and new features. Have the support of backlog and sprints which is very ideal for Agile methodology.
Easy to manage tickets for support or change control workflows internally and externally for projects alongside our Agile approach, the team collaboration and ability ot link into Confluence and Bitbucket that we use our our 2 other main business systems is really good
Some of the automation features could be better or better at integrating with 3rd party apps. and possibly simplifying the gui from an Admin perspective as it might be easier to let users of the system perform some task that only Admins can do
Managing of internal support tickets for IT and other departments and creating workflows for out product and dev teams, we also yous it to support our customers
Jira is a tool which is having comprehensive project management features, flexible customization options, and seamless collaboration capabilities; I like Jira's versatility and ability to facilitate efficient collaboration and tracking of tasks
I wouldn't say i dislike but a small issue which makes issue sometimes, Jira's complexity and the steep learning curve can make it challenging for new users to negative and utilize effectively
In Jira, I used to see my assigned stories to work on it, and it helps solve problems of project management; task tracking is easy in Jira, and I can be able to get benefits by enhancing productivity and ensuring better project management
Out of the box, Jira is very intuitive and very effective for any user. What I love the most is even after several years, hundreds of Software Developers, dozens of Atlassian University courses later... I AM STILL continuing to find more and more amazing ways to utilize this tool and not have to purchase other tools when Jira can nearly do it all!
It being so very customizable, and having many folks using it, it's just the training period for onboarding new users. It's not awful and it's literally not Jira's fault, it's more of a people thing. Some folks just don't take the extra second to embrace the awesome powers of Jira.
It's helping me centralize all of my organization's development into one place, with traceability, it's very clear/transparent, and it is centralized, so there is less guessing for everyone on my team, which is a global team with remote and in-office developers all over. I have FAR FEWER headaches with Jira, and I will always promote it. It is so simple, and it integrates with all of the other tools we already use.
I have been using this tool for one year, and it is the best product management tool. I am using it daily, and my experience is very excellent. I generally like the following features: - Best functionality is JQL Query finding issues in a few seconds -Jira is not difficult to utilize and easy to use software -Simpler to follow the situation with work done - Integration with Slack and Google chat I can easily add bugs, story points, watch tasks, add a description, and so more. My Overall Experience using Jira is Very Excellent.
Jira is a very useful tool for software engineers and it is really helpful with my work. I can't find something specific to dislike Jira. Sometimes I am facing issues to file upload when I am uploading a file it is not uploaded.
I am a QA engineer, As a QA Jira is very useful for adding bugs. Jira is the most used tool in agile methodology and Jira gives me a complete and easy-to-understand stage that brings straightforwardness and effectiveness to the project. Jira assisted me with taking care of my time usage issue. It allows to me track my work that needs to be pending, done task, reopen task, Prioritized task, Less prioritized task, and much more.
The ability to update multiple stakeholders inside of an app easily is incredible. This application has made communication so much easier for our team. Emails have gone down, because stakeholders can access where a project is at via the Jira link.
The design is a tad boring, but that isn't the main focus of JIRA.
The ability of users/stakeholders/etc to update in a single place for a project. We, as a team, are much more productive with JIRA than we were with the built in house project tracker we had previous.
There are many features which I like about JIRA, but few things which I love about JIRA are: - User stories can be planned very easily due to which anyone in the team has clear visiblity about the feature being developed - Status of any issue can be updated very easily due to which whole team/organization can be aware of the current status and progress of any issue - QA's can very easily import their test cases in JIRA and execute the test cases along with attachments - QA's can report the bugs in JIRA easily - We can also create custom dashboards/filters in JIRA which is again very useful for visibility
There are many actions which are not supported for bulk operation. For eg: Change Linked Issues,Change Reporter etc. If JIRA starts supporting such operations, it would prove to be very useful for users.
- It allows uploading and execution of test cases in a friendly manner - Can very easily report the bugs in JIRA and assign to specific Developer - Helps in tracking project progress - With JIRA, It is very easy to find any old test cases/features which were created years ago
Tracking process is amazing it works best to track the scrum,
I wish it had ability to add more options
It is helping us to track the process of projects, and also it helps to keep track of the teams' bandwidth here
It has a variety of sections yet, it maintains ease of use. One can easily track issues and all its related info at one place. Not only it allows to add stories and sub status but it also allows to attach relevant files.
Nothing so far. Whatever I have used it has worked well and I have not come across any challenges working on this platform. There have been some integrations issues but those were on part of third party softwares.
We track all our product relates issues through Jira only. Not only it facilitates their status but it also makes it easier to extract customized reports and use them.
Jira helps me keep track of issues raised in different projects and manage them. Jira allows me to monitor the project improvements and also track progress.
The interface is a little congested, and it could be simplified.
Project tracking, process improvement, issue tracking, raising queries, managing or changing their progress, and tracking my tool enhancement level.
The way you can structure and plan your project using JIRA. You can see what tasks other people on your team are working on so you're in sync with them. You can create tasks with priorities. It helps the managers and other devs to plan things accordingly. You can create a schedule and log time in a particular task so that management can plot your graph of required time vs. time taken to judge your productivity!
This software has so much potential, but it's not being utilized to the fullest. They should improve on the UI part where you open your issues, it is hard to find "MY OPEN ISSUES" I feel like this should be on top as this is the first thing I want to see as a developer
We use this product to manage our software development. It helps us to manage the devs who are working on tasks as we have everything under one page. It is also easy for the management to track everyone's progress through the issues they have addressed over a period of time. All and all, we can't imagine our development team without JIRA!!
I have been using JIRA since 3 years using agile methodologies. It really helps me to understand the requirement of project and categories the work in small piece of work.
Whenever i go through any description of the ticket at that time if i accidently click on the text of the description text then it goes automatically to the edit mode which i feel very annoying.
I like the most thing about Jira it have staus like ToDo, In Progress, In Review, Tested etc. so we can get the latest updated status about the jira ticket. It contains different kinds of board such as Scrum, Kanban etc so we can get an idea of progress of the project.
This is the most helpful tool to collaborate and track progress.
The scheduling of tasks by the scrum master.
JIRA is helping with effective project management and team collaboration.
Jira is a Transparent Tool for team. It is helping human to make themself process oriented. It is most useful for Project Manager and QA, There are multiple advantages fall in Jira I am using Below mentioned feature: - Bug Tracking - Sprint Planing - Resource planing using creating Task - Assign task with whole details as what will be the work, Story points of Task. It is providing a various types of Reports so that manager can evaluate task as well as findout that how much amount of work is Done and Undone. Afterall it is a best tool for our team to make team work effective.
Although JIRA has so many advanced features, they can improve on some points: - Some time jira is taking long to to load data - I felt that it is not showing a correct count of records if there are more than 1000 record in JQL result. - Jira should be provide a limited access for small organization so those type of organizations can work in jira with effective price.
Jira is saving time for the team to manage their work. Also, the Project manager can present work to the Client or other management.
It’s super easy to use, Good for managing agile projects plus QA-related stuff all in one place. It's a Web-based tool that is used to seamlessly manage right from requirements, to stories, to EPICs, to defects, and all of this can be linked to each other, creating traceability between these, which makes JIRA an excellent tool to deliver agile-based projects very efficiently and faster to market. It also Integrates with other tools, such as Zypher, for test case management and execution and other tools as add-ons.
Sometimes gets very, very slow and buggy and also if it were available as an app, that would be awesome so that it can also be used on various devices to manage agile-based projects.
JIRA is helping me and my team manage Agile-based deliverables seamlessly, and we can track all the deliverables from requirement management to epics to stories to test cases in one place, which we were doing in an Excel sheet. So, using JIRA saves us a lot of time, and all of this has become accurate and easy to manage.
