ClickFunnels sells the funnel as a unit of work. Rather than assembling a landing page tool, an email platform, a checkout, and a course host, you build the whole sequence — opt-in page, upsell, order form, delivery, follow-up email — inside one system that understands them as connected steps.
That framing is why the $97 floor is more defensible than it first appears. What actually decides your plan:
- Launch is expensive per contact and cheap in absolute terms. At $8.10 per thousand contacts against Scale’s $2.19, the entry plan is nearly four times worse value per unit. That is normal for a base tier, but the gap here is unusually wide — so if you are anywhere near 10,000 contacts, Scale is the better purchase rather than the upgrade you defer.

It shows the stages of your funnel to edit or look at statistics. It allows you to use custom domains instead of yourusername.clickfunnels.com. It has excellent training videos and weekly training. Facebook group started off awesome, with so many members it is spammy now.
It can be buggy at times. It can be completely down when you least need that. It is ambitious, maybe too much so. It is expensive when you add "actionetics" for email. It is a very good platform though too many affiliates pushing the same templates. Lots of constant upsells. The community had been very fun & helpful on Facebook and still is to a certain degree (lots of spamming in there but with 100k+ wouldn't we expect that?!) Connecting to outside services such as email that should be in the basic plan.

Their sales video is HORRIBLE. I want to use this for clients, but the video is so inappropriate (and featured front and center on their site) that it almost looks BAD on us as an agency for recommending it. Also, very glitchy, needs polishing from a user perspective. Also, support needs improvement and there are a TON of caveats you need to be aware of from a technology perspective.

Easy to create marketing funnels for multiple niches, you can build one in less than an hour. They also have a lot of funnel templates and market place to purchase other templates. The tool is all in one, you can integrate a payment system like Striple and auto responder like Active Campaigns. You can quickly add upsells and downsells to improve your conversions with less traffic. It also has a membership module to sell simple training courses.If you have a straight forward funnel, it will help you get your idea to market faster, however, I would not recommend for everyone.
The tool has its flaws, the membership site is limited, you don't have any control over the design and it's not very mobile friendly. Support is extremely slow to respond. Many times support would reply that their engineer would investigate a problem and it would never get resolved or never receive a reply. It's really expensive compared to other WordPress based solutions.
Building funnels for clients and for myself. Time to market for funnels is extremely fast, so we are able to do more with less work.
Easy to duplicate pages and do split testing. Lots of drag and drop when creating pages which makes the basic designing part simple as well - and it's responsive. Like the automation of emails, really helps with the onboarding process and streamlining of client.
There are certain limitations that cause frustration - for example creating a live webinar funnel with two different sign up options. Support can sometimes be frustrating. You reach out on chat and sometimes won't hear back till hours (maybe its to push you to Google everything yourself - who knows) and if they chat agent doesn't know the answer because it's too complex they have to send it to their higher up team which takes even longer to get an answer back from.
Ability to create simple landing pages and automations with emails.
I love the easy to use page builder, which easily allows you to build a web page in no time. They also have great templates that you can easily modify to your business needs. It's also very easy to share templates with anyone.
The price itself is very high. I would say that the price of this software is a lot more than many other landing page tools.

Landing pages for e-commerce products are the most common usage for click funnels. There are also ways to connect product inventory, payment processors, and the like, and click funnels could be an all-in-one e-commerce site so long as you have limited inventory or a LOT of time to create pages.
We are exploring the concept of sales funnels and conducting several trials. ClickFunnels came well recommended, so we decided to give it a try. The free trial came in very handy. The major attraction of this introduction to sales funnels was the no-tech approach. Beautiful landing pages can be created without the need to involve (and pay to) IT staff, which is great. These pages enable A/B tests and data tracking/conversion reporting to identify roadblocks. Information on Facebook groups is a huge bonus!
Assuming I like the tool, the price tag is too high for a small business. Besides, in the scope of a free trial setup, learning was quite complicated. At some point, I thought about giving up as I could not resolve some technical difficulties, like changing the customer email address. I understand that tool is going through growth period, however constant glitches are quite unpleasant.

ClickFunnels is notoriously glitchy, unhelpful, and more often than not, will not save your changes, or the buttons will not work.
I was hosting a webinar on a page that was on a loop. It was helpful to have it running 24/7 whenever someone wanted to watch it, and it also sent out emails to people who had clicked and kept them in a database.
I like the ability to drag and drop different aspects of the funnel. You can definitely make some solid websites, as long as it is simple.
There are so many bugs with the software and you are so limited on what you’re able to build.

I don't like that clickfunnels is not affordable for people who just want to look around and understand it. You have to buy $97 a month subscription and that is quite expensive when you are just trying to figure what product/service you will be able to sell with it
I feel like, it will be a great way to generate quality leads and sell multiple products and develop know, like and trust factor with my audience at the same time, without having to keep posting on my social media for several years before selling anything

It looks like an industrial strength product for people who know what they are doing. If I sold B2C this would be pretty cool.
I signed up for an individualized training to use the product. The presenter did not show. When the problem was brought to the support team, they ignored me. Most of the funnels are designed around products for retail customers, and it is less clear how to build a funnel for B2B small business.
I am trying to solve the problem of lack of leads by building a funnel based advertising campaign.
The customer service that's provided: response time, seeking clarity, and effort to make sure matter is resolved to the best of their ability. Clickfunnels excels in customer service provided over pipelinepro, as described above.
For some reason, I couldn't learn how to use Clickfunnels as easily as it was for me to learn and use pipelinepro.
I no longer use Clickfunnels because I couldn't understand how to use the original version nor version Clickfunnels 2.0. This made Clickfunnels fees without being able to use it infeasible.
The idea of it is great. I was really pulled in by having everything in one place.
There are so many bugs I couldn't get it functioning despite spending 3 weeks working on it. Non intuitive user interface. Extremely expensive. Tech team who never responds. Lack of help material. Hardly any templates. Old fashioned templates.
I was hoping to set up click funnels to do all my marketing. Unfortunately, there were so many bugs I spent 4 weeks and still didn't have a live site. I had a ticket with tech for 3 weeks and did not hear back from them once despite numerous follow-ups on my part. There is a severe lack of documentation. Although the help team is responsive, they have limited ability to look into the bugs and actually fix things. From the huge build-up and excitement I felt after spending 5 days on the initial free sales course, I went to frustration and annoyance. I have since changed to another builder where I was able to get everything up and running in 2 days - no bugs - easy UX - much cheaper. I don't like writing this about Clickfunnels because I felt a real affinity with them at first - but I lost a lot of money and time so I would like to save other freelancers from making the same mistake. It is clear that Clickfunnels 2 was not ready to go live - and that they don't care much about their customers. When I left I explained my problems but never heard anything back from them about that either.
Nothing at all is positive about our extremely expensive time with the useless company that is ClickFunnels.
They lie, they cheat, they steal, they scam. They charge upfront because they know their system is broken in 7 million places. They have a terrible customer service team who is 4 people for hundreds of thousands of customers. They bill your card without approval, they send no invoice, then they refuse to do any refunds after 30d. So essentially it's one massive fraud ring where they bill you secretly and then refuse to refund, through a system intentionally created this way. Russell Brunson will burn for eternity for the black footprint he has left on the marketing community. Robbed everyone of trust and money for faulty broken pieces. And every tool he integrated, he also owns, and it's also broken.
It's not solving any problems. It creates more problems while draining your money and pretending they are shocked to hear it's not working.

Having a very flexible landing page that has all of the payment options built in, it also offers you the ability to track the users based on different actions.
Easy to build basic custom landing pages, other than that its complete crap. Jack of all trades but a master at none of them...
There are so many things, this software is great for people that have no design skills or dont want to fully customize their lading pages with favicons, custom html/javascript, widget plugins and things that make a landing page truly unique. This software is so buggy when it comes to customization, I have to talk with support for literally every LP I build on this platform, first off, half the time the preview window doesnt show what is actually published, and the other half of the time my only solution would be to delete and re-make the funnel with zero design changes or code changes...tell me how that makes sense? I change nothing but if I duplicate it works? Pain in the you know what... If you want a software that does so much SH*** you wont even use 90% of it but does none of those things to a high level then clickfunnels is for you. If you want a software that works at least 85% of the time...GO TO ANOTHER LANDING PAGE BUILDER. I am stuck using this software because that is what my boss wants and so I have no choice, but trust me stay clear. They add a new feature pretty much every week, but have never addressed any of the bugs in the LP builder to my knowledge, because I still get the same bugs for LITERALLY every landing page, and yes I am being honest. I just got done building one and I had to reach out to support 3 times just for a single page LP...ridiculous. Ultimately, I had to duplicate it and then delete the original, then it worked fine.....so frustrating.

I love the high energy and videos that speak directly to me. I love the idea of a tech-free solution that I can recommend to my users.
System bugs, security failures, false advertising, over-billing / double billing and nobody to call or talk to-for account support, billing support or technical support.
I just started using clickfunnels and it took me the entire trial period just to get it setup due multiple bugs and security issues. I was happy enough until they performed billing and double charged my credit card. That "could be" an honest mistake, but, the first charge went through and clickfunnels notified me of the charge via email receipt. They performed a second charge and DID NOT send an email receipt! My bank told me this is very suspicious.
I know this can be a very nice marketing tools that you can use.
But think about it, you are advertising lots of money on your funnel and you pay for everything but your account getting deactivate. for about 72 hours no one answer me. The phone number that they put under the emails tell you that they do not have any phone support and the chat are automated. I think this big company should have much better support than this but they do not care at all. I do not understand how with this poor customer service they have this much revenue. I am remodeling company and I try to take care of all my emergency customers in same day which is much harder than phone support.

Not much but boy their marketing is good!. It sounds exactly like what one needs. so that part was really good, I got involved very quickly. The company has the resources to build up an online presence and sink down what they don't need to be known, which is a lot.
Customer service, for starters. No one was able to give me a solution for almost 2 days, thus far. The guy who emailed me disappeared on me after I described the issue. It probably was just a bot. I had a problem that seems like a security breach. Mi account, with my financial information ", disappeared" The site accepted a new registration with my same email, but would give me access to the old account. I spent hours trying to understand how it worked, managed to build something that looked ok, but wasn't at all functional. I logged out and went to bed. In the morning, my account didn't exist anymore, all my work disappeared. I thought it was because I was in the 14-day free trial (I didn't request it to be free, that is their offer, but they do ask for credit card. The following upgrade at that point was $97. Then they asked me to upgrade....?! I thought it was an upgrade to their lower tier, as agreed the day before, right? Well, it turned out they took three times the money of the upgrade and decide to upgrade on their own to the highest tear ...? Nonetheless, my information was still missing, as well as my work. At the point, I am writing this review I've lost 2 days of work because of this defective service. To make the nightmare worse, it would take my domain name because" another user was already using it" ???? This is the kind of thing that kills the deal for people and why small and mid-sized companies end up losing business and disappearing in the middle of the night. Overpromise, and underdelivering.
