No dislikes from me. Absolutely recommend confluence.
Knowledge base and documentation repository
I like many things about Confluence, but I personally love the Documentation tools. You have many ways of customising texts and adding media to them, which makes it really easy to do a beautiful-looking and well-organised Wiki for any IT project. In addition to the text customisation, you can very easily create sections and subsections for all the documentation. Confluence also integrates amazingly well with the rest of Atlassian ecosystem so, for example, you can link without any effort Jira tasks into the documentation and viceversa.
I must admit that, for the use I make of Confluence, there is nothing I dislike. I only use the Documentation feature in my team, and in my honest opinion it has everything one could think of and want.
Thanks to Confluence we are able to create all the documentation our project needs, which allows to easily integrate new people to the team. All the technical data about the project is stored in Confluence, as well as simple tutorials for newcomers.
Ease of project planning, project editing, multiple notes, task assignments, and accelerated feedback loop are some of the best features
Little complicated for first timers but with time things gets easier
Helping me in project management, task management, and most importantly daily documentation with pre-designed templates. Page versioning and rich text editor are just awesome.
The most helpful thing about Confluence is the simplicity of use, it works exactly like office tools but with extra features. The benefit of using Confluence is that everyone in my organization can collaborate without trouble in our documents.
I dislike that i can´t link my articles to external collaborators without giving them licences and rise the cost for my organization. We need a feature that allows to share everything externally.
It helps building our documentation and acting like a source of truth so everyone on my team is up to date with every change or task that needs attetion. It also helped reducing our costs by allowing to leave Office tools behind.
rIt is great for training purposes and to keep all information in one place
The only thing that bothers me is that there seems to be a glitch when using table of contents; you click to a section and it doesn't take you exactly where it begins
My company has a lot of very specific processes that require employees to be well educated on them. Confluence serves as our database for any questions regarding workflow
Ease of use. Time needed to create new content is satisfying.
Could have more modern design. But it is still very clear to use.
It allows to keep all needed information about work, workflow, etc. in one place.
Confluence helps us document all our marketing , sales and customer success processes under one roof which every from the team can access and provide insights on.It has really helped our collaboration efforts.
At the moment, i dont believe there is anything to dislike about confluence but sometimes formatting tables on confluence can be difficult and frustrating . Its a great tool nonetheless.
Confluence has helped us bridge the gap between different teams and has provided us a platform to collaborate and share comments. It has also helped us find all the important documents under one roof.
The confluence is like a book that you can easily navigate.
Nothing really. SInce all through out it's been a big help for us. Most special when training days.
When training days, it is so helpful for us to open it like any other book but more convinient.
Its cloud based and really easy to use once you get to know its little quirks, much easier than managing and intranet, and great for collaboration with in teams and department and easily links to other systems
Some integrations with 3rd party apps could be better where the app is really good but the confleunce backend doestn full make use of them. Also offline back ups or a contingency for running the cloud based system locally for the purpose of disater recovery or where downtime could mean no access to our data.
We use it for more than a knowledge base and more as an internal document intranet and it links to Jira for the service and change control side of things, It makes for easy documentation for ISO 9001 and team related documentation along with apporval of official release documents.
It’s the best one-stop place to store, share and access data and knowledge related to a project or work. It aids in collaboration with other colleagues, makes it easy to edit information, integrates with jira data and can create informative graphical data to represent all data neatly.
I have often seen it get prolonged to access project-related information; apart from this, I do not find any issues with confluence. A great too in fact
A good place to store and access project-related information Best collaboration tool for project mates can create graphically data
