The way I appreciate working as a team is through Confluence software that plays this role quite well. We can use different layouts for organizing content, which allows all team members to reach the necessary information. This is a crucial resource which operates like a database on our project documentation and it integrates with other atlassian apps without hassle. Access controls, in particular, are very vital as they limit the access of sensitive information to certain individuals. Indeed, it is a great platform where we are able to do our projects effectively.
Conversely, the administrative tasks may be cumbersome as they are not tailored for customization and user-friendliness. On creating new documents, I find the document format selection rather rigid, thereby slowing down the process.
Confluence has addressed the issue of dispersed knowledge and lack of coordination within my team. It sums up our knowledge and this benefits us in that we save time and improve on the quality of our work. The connective functions of the platform have improved our workflow efficacy; thus, our day to day activities are more easily achieved.

Additionally, the seamless integration with JIRA is a valuable add-on that further streamlines our workflow. - The system is user-friendly. - Enables multiple editors and viewers to access it. - Allows access to previous versions of pages and project documents. - Allows facilitates comparison between pages to show recent updates. - Additionally, it is easy to implement in other tools and streamlines the customer service process.
While it is true that quality often comes at a cost, I personally do not find Confluence to be excessively expensive. However, I have encountered some difficulties with certain templates and pages, as they tend to load quite slowly and can be time-consuming. Additionally, the search function could benefit from some improvements, and editors and publishers may find the platform to be somewhat challenging to navigate at times.

We as an organization using Confluence from a long time, it is very comfortable tool which helps in documenting various things from PRD to bug monitoring.Confluence makes it easy to track the flow of bug and fix given to it by integrating Jira tickets with it.Being it easily accessible tool , able to look into previously deveoped features and related bug and its fixes in confluence very easily.
One thing which could be improved is the look and field of the confluence , other than that everything looks fine.

The best thing about Confluence would be the ease of access and usage. The software is straightforward to use, and you have the Web version and the Mobile applications that you can use to increase productivity. We use Confluence to create and manage Internal documentation for our team members. The best features are: - Access control - Ease of Usage - Fonts and customizations offered - Page view; they have hundreds of page views and templates that you can select
The web app has to be refreshed to load content sometimes, and the updates are not pushed and auto-saved in real-time. Also, the app should have more options to customize how to show the images; the only option offered is to inline the body of the text.
- We use to it create internal documents - Control the version history of the documents - Also, it is the best tool to document stuff if your team uses JIRA as their ticket management system as it integrates the best with JIRA and gives you an option to associate the relevant tickets, which helps a lot.

Confluence is a clean and simple tool with lots of features. It helps to manage all your project documents and plannings. You can collaborate with your team and for any update you can directly write it in Confluence and the team will get notified. For a new member it greatly helps him/her to understand the project by the documentation created in Confluence.

It is a user friendly platform which any one can access and update their data.We can easlity integrate it with Jira .
I dont find any reason to dislike it.Its just awsome.
Its helping the team to mainitain the Project specific artifacts which let the team and client to maintain the tranparency.It helps the team to show the progress on the project regularly.Also team can highlight the impediments /blockers tracker if there are any.

As I said this can be referred as the company wikipedia for projects. We just place the basic design document in a template and share with all for easy access. All the team members access this frequently to go through and design their part of work easily. The features are very impressive. Integration of products like slack, Google Drive is very convenient. As this is the documentation hub of our company the team uses it frequently. We receive great customer support from the team though anyone can find ample knowledge from third source.
Managing permission is complicated task for new comer. When real-time editing of multiple pages happen then unresponsive pages error occurs. This is a costly affair for any large company though it has some awesome features.
It became the centralised knowledge base for our projects. We don't need to share the printed documents or digital documents to the internal stakeholders. Also it is safe and secure.
