Databox is great for connecting the metrics/data from multiple systems into one cohesive tool (and ultimately, dashboards + reports).
I do wish there were more default metrics, but we can get what we need through the custom metric creation, so a non-issue for our use case.
Databox helped us deepen our marketing analytics reporting - as HubSpot's default reporting settings/metrics left a lot to be desired.
great for visualising stats in an easy to understand manner that work greats for reports and integrates with so many third party apps
sometimes when creating metrics in the query builder its not so user friendly and one thing works and another thing won't when you have laid them out the exact same way
marketing performance reporting and is vastly better then the Hubspot reporting
The support is great, they are quick to help and they are very welcoming with tips and tricks. The software itself looks good and there are some good functions that make it possible to give lots of data visualisation in a clear way.
Myself, I'm more of the coding type that is used to R Shiny or Python Dash. This is more click and drop and the metrics are calculated in a more non-coding manner. This comes down to preference
They worked on extra possible rows for SQL querries, much appreciated. Also they helped me set up the connection to the database, this was done in a very helpfull and quick manner.
We're able to pull data from multiple sources into a single-page dashboard for our clients and our own business. Something we can't always do in other software packages (such as Marketing and CRM), so we rely on DataBox to give us all the metrics we need in a single view.
Sometimes, the setup of data sources and selection of the right data points/fields/metrics is complicated. Though this is less a DataBox issue and more relating to our experience with the many sources we have to draw data from.
As a marketing consuntancy, we've struggled with an inability to get everything we need (from a data point of view) into a single dashboard that can support better decision making for our clients.
Love how we can build boards to showcase data, track it over time, show comparisons, etc. So much easier to use than Google Data Studio. Also love the Slack notifications and scorecards. There were also a lot of problems early on with outages and integrations not working. But, these seem to have been resolved and not been seen again for many months now 💪
ChartMogul integration would be great, also a better Intercom integration that allows you to count people entering a segment. We rely too much on Zapier for a few things at the moment.
Showcasing and visualizing our data and reports, then sending these reports as updates into Slack and email. Means we (I) don't have to spend so much time aggregating data and reporting on it manually. Also tracking our success against company needs with the goals feature is great.
I really like the number of integrations and type of visualizations databox offers for a majority of the tools we use. The customizations offered really help to pull and visualize all our data in one place
I did not find any cons while using Databox for our requirements
We're trying to pull all our data from multippe sources and visualize it as per our requirements with Databox
The look-in feel is the best; integrate with databases (a lot off) is very easy. But make decisions with data boards is the best. Our clients have another look at our services after implement Databox.
Price is so expensive, most in other countries, because of the exchange rate.
First, automatize reports daily, weekly, monthly, annually. Automatize to send to e-mail, slack, for clients and us. Automatize goals and alerts, if maybe will cant reach them. It's amazing.
Great looking dashboards that are customized for mobile as well as desktop.
Frequently I have a lag in data updates that leaves the boards in a "spinning" status.
ROI calculation, helps clients realize the value of their marketing programs that are brand vs. lead based.
The best part about Databox is its streamlined presentation 'databoards' that are easy on the eyes and present the data in ways that clients and customers can understand without seemingly overwhelming.
There's not much to dislike about it. It could use more integrations, but it does what it's designed to do and it does it well.
We're able to show clients/customers the fruit of our labor in simple ways. It's easy to attach a databoard to an email, video, blog, etc. to prove points with actual statistics pulled from many places.
IN my opinion Data box is better than most competitor software because it a great marketing tool that tracking digital and social media marketing performances. I like the UI interface along with it allowing user to connect many different multiple sources of data.
The believe there are few issues with AI integration and the way trafficking data is reported month quarterly, semi monthly and every 12 months because it seem to be problem with the calender when reporting. The graphics could use a upgrade because it you to drag to zoom out and in using this software.
i was having problem with the data visualization and frankly I thought it be more high tech because of the component use in the software but their is a lot bugs to be work out of this software but overall it not bad software product but need to fix some issues like the text formatting for the data blocks or the dash board for accounts which need improvement to make this product sell better to businesses and companies.
