Its output quality is what built its reputation; the pricing is what this review is about.
Everything is metered in credits, and ElevenLabs helpfully translates them: roughly 1,000 credits buys a minute of text to speech. So the 10,000-credit free tier is about ten minutes a month, and Pro’s 600,000 credits is about ten hours.
The plan ladder runs Free, Starter, Creator, Pro, then a business tier of Scale, Business, and Enterprise.

The thing that I like the best about ElevenLabs is that I was able to create a nearly perfect voice by uploading a voice that I was used to using for other projects. Customer service was fantastic in fixing the single error that I've had after using this software for the past few months. It saves me a lot of time and is VERY fast in producing my content. I also think that the fees are very fairly priced. I use this at least 5 days a week and I love how simple and easy to use it is.

I do AI dubbing for games into other languages, and I have to admit that Eleven Labs is an excellent synthesizer that has sped up my work a lot. Before Eleven Labs, the work of making a single AI voice could take days - I had to prepare as large a dataset as possible, divide it into small files of up to 10 seconds, write transcriptions for each file, and finally train it from several hours to several days on high-end Nvidia graphics cards. With Eleven Labs, the work of making an AI voice can be radically shortened and made easier - just drag a few sound files and we already have a voice made. You don't need to waste masses of time doing transcriptions, have an expensive graphics card or have IT knowledge to operate the tool, because the whole thing has a very simple and intuitive interface. The emergence of Eleven Labs was a real revolution in the field of speech synthesis. It is also worth noting that the sound quality of the synthesis is quite high, so good that many people, unaware of how the samples were generated, may think they were recorded by real voice actors.

Now I want to keep going and my renewal is on Nov 18 and there is no easy or feasible way for me to pay by use! The chat and support tell me to do what does not work! I wish you could have more than 10 custom voices on the mid-tier (starter plan). As it's easy to quickly amass that once you add some of the shared voices from other users.
I'm a hobbiest and love playing around with the latest advancements in Ai and tech. ElevenLabs is at the cutting edge of Ai. They are hands down the best in their field and the undisputed kings of voice cloning and Ai voice generation.

Not many characters come in the $22 tier. I think that 100,000 chartacters is not enough since you have to do some experiments.

As an author I have written numerous books but have been limited by my inability to write them in other languages period now that I have found 11 labs, it has allowed me to create my own voice so that when writing them in different languages it's not someone else's voice but my own. That's certainly lends a level of authenticity that no other narrator can provide me.
I can understand that 11 labs is constantly learning, and so there is a definite learning curve to the system. There are instances that you need to be aware of when the conversion isn't exactly right and the documents you've written sometimes may copy over to a different chapter. With that being said all you need to do is reach out to them and they're quick to respond and provide a necessary rebate in count. They have been very accommodating for my needs.
11 labs has been very open to feedback. One of the items is when the voice settings need to be changed for multiple paragraphs it currently does not offer that option but they are open to changing that and adding that to their program
Basically everything! I don't have a powerful enough PC to run text-to-speech locally, so Elevenlabs is a huge lifesaver. I'm using it mainly to create YouTube videos, and for now, the results are mind-blowing. People do enjoy the voices from Elevenlabs, and I'm very confident in my work! Eleven labs has the most natural sounding voices I have found and putting quality of voices in lieu of mere quantity of voices.
To be able to preview content with an Eleven Labs Voice without using characters. Soemtimes a particular voice might not be the voice for the intent of the content even though one of the other Eleven Labs voices would work great for the intended purpose of the content.
Having an Eleven Labs voice as a narrator for content that I produce which free's up my time to create the content instead of trying to record all of it using my own voice.

Variety of different accents are available from british to american as well as different persona and ages. Also very easy to use. I have managed to find my favourite voice and save it as a pre-set so that I can quickly generate voice files on the fly. Highly recommend ElevenLabs.

It's amazing to see that text to speech became that good. Write your text, select a voice and receive stunning and near-perfect results! Regenerating results will also give you different results (depending on the settings). The service supports 30+ languages, including Dutch (which is very rare). ElevenLabs has proved that it isn't impossible to have near-perfect text-to-speech 'Dutch' voices and takes the lead while other services stay behind. Another cool feature is that you can use your own voice by using Voice Cloning. With so many features, ideas and a great community, I can't wait to see how they will evolve!
While the default voices supports all available languages, the result might vary per text or language. Regenerating or selecting a different voice could fix them. Besides the default voices and your own voice, there are (at time of writing) no other Dutch voices/accents available. Using the default voices (or using a voice from the Voice Library) will generate a slight English accent sometimes.
