somtimes it is hard to get the search to narrow down the field you are looking for. Key words in the search seem to not register to filter the results as well as i would like.

i use Fiverr mainly for Tattoo designs and custom made products of anykind. i have gotten quite a few designs for logos and sticker to use for personal and professional use.

Its user interface is very well design and easy to go by. I like the way each posting by a freelancer has a thumbnail so you can be guided by visuals rather than just mere text. This really helps you out when navigating and you're looking a several freelancers' work.

It is sometimes hard to find a freelancer with the specific skills, experience, and price you are looking for. I think there's a lot of room for improvement when it comes to filters.

Fiverr got its name when all the "gigs" posted there were $5. There were some incredible bargains. I had a couple of sketches done from photos, and the quality was amazing, especially considering the price. When I needed a small bit of Javascript written, a Fiverr vendor did it within 30 minutes. Since its inception, vendors have been allowed to set different prices, but there are still some very good deals. Just understand that there are a lot of vendors, and response times tend to vary considerably.

I had mixed results with the last transcription job I had done through Fiverr. The transcription was of good quality, but the vendor didn't get back to me immediately, and the job wound up taking about three days. This would have been a disaster had I been on a tighter deadline. There is no easy way to determine if a vendor will respond immediately or whenever they can circle back around to it.

My most frequent need is for transcription of telephone interviews. The transcriptions I have commissioned through Fiverr were of good quality, but the turnaround time was unpredictable. I'm not sure what the Fiverr service can do about that, as there are thousands of vendors and no way to track them all.
