I work for a small startup with limited funds. We use Fiverr for a lot of work we need to contract out including blog writing and sometimes development needs. I really don't know what we would do without Fiverr and the option to contract out some of the work.
I wish there was an option to pay by the hour versus paying by the project, specifically with development projects. Often times there is a need to make adjustments after a project has been finished, but because there's no hourly option, there's no incentive to work on the project after it's submitted.
Fiverr solves the problem of needing short-term gigs and finding people to fill them. We use Fiverr to find contractors quickly and easily to fill our work needs.
The feature I love best about favor is that they follow up with an anonymous email asking if I really did get the help I needed. This way, I can be nice to whoever I hired, but also honest to the platform. I've only had to say once that someone didn't meet my expectations, and I'm glad to know that it doesn't affect their profile metrics. Just the search engine.
Being an online marketplace, it's hard to know who you are really getting. it's a very good search engine, and lots of sample work, but sometimes that sample work is the very best they've performed their entire life. People can catfish. If you're going for a specific look and have to scroll down a lot to find somebody who can do it, the people at the bottom are generally ones who are new or didn't perform so well, so be aware.
As a self employed handyman, I don't have a team behind me. Every now and then I need advertising & graphics done. I am also looking currently to see if they might provide online assisstants, accounting, and social media marketing.
Fiverr is the first Freelancing platform used by me and I feel it is easy to use and offers a wide range of category when it comes to selling or buying.Fiverr provides an intuitive and user-friendly platform that simplifies finding, hiring, and collaborating with freelancers.
As per competency, Fiverr is competitive since there is a large pool of freelancers and clients. So the freelancers' skillset can't be trusted. Buyers have limited control over the freelancers' work processes and schedules. This lack of direct supervision can be challenging for clients who prefer to manage and oversee every aspect of their projects closely.
Fiverr offers easy-to-use features for freelancers which helps me as a freelancer to explore opportunities. Alongside, part-time opportunities, I also get opportunity to learn from their courses
Fiverr helped me to get the best SEO and Backlink related freelacing projects.
Fiverr process is lengthy I found, else nothing I dislike about the platform
I created my profile on Fiverr to get some SEO and backlink-related freelancing work back in 2017; it helped me a lot to get very good leads and projects. Till now, I successfully achieved 20+ project deliveries.
The variety of industry experts that are available to hire on the platform makes finding someone to handle those "One-Off" tasks so much easier than it used to be.
Some experts ramp up their offered services with different selections much higher than they advertise. I would love to see some pricing limitations be implemented to prevent users from price-gouging consumers.
Logo design and some SEO optimization is what I previously used Fiverr for. All experts that I've hired have been more than professional throughout the entire process.
In Fiverr, I would like its support system for both clients and freelancers
Sometimes client did not pay full payment so its loss of developer or freelancers so Fiverr has to sort out this
I have web development skill and I got more projects over Fiverr I can get experience and skilled developers for my on going work
Prices are transparent. Profile reviews seem genuine unlike some markeplaces, which provides assurance of trust and value.
The extra convenience/service charge. Fiverr should stick to taking a % of revenue generated.
Finding freelance work that is not needed full time at a reasonable price. Service is amazing and quick.
It was easy for me to get started as a free lancer. The review system helped me build credibility and trustworthiness as i got more clients who left feedback for other prospective customers.
It takes 2 weeks for me to get paid for work done which is long. There is an option of paying $19 a month to get paid in a week which i think should not be charged.
Fiverr helps me get customers for my freelance services. It can be hard to get customers for my services but with fiverr the more work i do, the quicker i get new clients impressed by my record of doing
I love that I can find affordable services on fiverr as well as I can offer my services as well and create residual income.
The freelancers on fiverr can be a bit aggressive when inquiring about services.
Fiverr helps me get services done at reasonable and affordable rates.
Easy to sort out, hire, and pay for services. Freelancer exams that freelancers can take then their score results/rating for that skill are shown on their profile. It is secure and has 2FA if you log in on a new device.
Fiverr is ideal for small projects. I am not sure it can accommodate large projects.
Saves me time and money because it is easy to identify prospective sellers based on skill requirements and price. I can do that on the go on my phone
