Has the basics for everything related to social media. Extra perks with connecting to 3rd party apps is nice too.
Basic data analytics is a negative. Something a little nit picky is not as customizable for data sheets and export scheduling.
Have all low and high-level items in one place and provide data on each.
Have used a few social media tools and found Hootsuite to be the best. There's a lot of the team who use it and as the social media manager, I'm able to easily delegate roles like certain admin or viewer roles. It has everything I need for scheduling and analytics, and responding to customers. The platform regularly updates with new tools too, like the recent introduction of Grammarly.
There isn't much wrong with Hootsuite, whenever we do have any issues, the team helps and sorts things out quickly. I am very happy using Hootsuite and I know the rest of the team are too.
Having multiple accounts, we find Hootsuite a fantastic way to keep track of these accounts and schedule content for each platform. We also found the analytics to help save time as previously we used to go into each platform to see post performance. Hootsuite helps me to oversee all the accounts too as a manager when previously I didn't have awareness of all the accounts.
Having used Hootsuite for nearly a year, I can say that it is an excellent tool for social media management. One of the most significant advantages of Hootsuite is its user-friendly interface. It is easy to navigate and intuitive; even for those who are not very tech-savvy, many "tech-phobes" in the team have been able to pick it up and use it effectively. It's great that the platform allows you to schedule posts across multiple social media channels, saving the team and me so much time. We also use it to monitor our social media accounts for mentions and engage with our followers directly from the platform, which ensures we don't miss any incoming engagement. Another thing I love about Hootsuite is its robust analytics and reporting features. The platform provides detailed reports on engagement, reach, and other metrics that are essential for measuring the success of your social media strategy. This allows us to take a test and learn approach when producing content without spending hours reporting.
However, one of the downsides of Hootsuite is that it can be pricey when adding additional users and using the apps within the platform.
Using Hootsuite saves me time, improves efficiency, and provides critical data to make informed decisions. This centralised approach Hootsuite enables me to take saves me time by streamlining social media management, making it more efficient and effective.
Hootsuite allows me to manage all social channels in one dashboard. The platform is simple to use and ensures no customer queries are missed. The content calendar enables us to schedule posts in advance and gives other teams visibility of our social media plan to ensure we are all aligned.
Not all DMs appear in the inbox. However, I think this is a restriction with Twitter/Facebook when the customer does not follow us rather than a Hootsuite issue.
The new inbox features will benefit our team as auto-replies can be generated, and prioritisation functions can be set up. These functions will ensure the most critical messages are replied to first and will give a better experience to our customers.
Hootsuite has been an incredible tool to consolidate our needs as a company. With over 180 social profiles, monitoring accounts in-platform can be challenging and Hootsuite has really alleviated a ton of that lift by being able to see all things in one place.
Honestly, I think the only challenge for us is that our businesses use personal TikTok accounts and because of that, we can't connect those profiles to HS. Otherwise, no complaints!
As I mentioned on the first page, we have over 180 social profiles to monitor and maintain, so seeing all of that in one place, especially from an analytics standpoint, is incredibly helpful.
Hootsuite hosts a very comprehensive analytics page which helps me identify teams that may be falling behind on their engagement and posting requirements.
I would like for Hootsuite to pull better data on Instagram Reels and TiKTok personal accounts as none of our properties have TikTok business accounts.
For us, we have a hard time tracking analytics across our 90+ accounts that we oversee. They offer solutions for us to pull in data for individual accounts or all accounts combined. They also allow us to track important hashtags related to our brands which ensure we are staying on top of content and conversations.
It's easy to use and the platform is consistently working on improvements, significantly as social media platforms change and grow. Great customer service!
Occasionally, scheduled posts drop, and this is especially inconvenient on weekends.

Hootsuite makes it easy to manage social media. It's organized and efficient and gives me one place to store, plan, post, and manage content, which make my job a lot easier.
I honestly haven't yet found anything that I dislike about Hootsuite! It's been compatible with the other programs we use and provides a lot of insight and clarity for us.

I wish there were more capabilities for Google My Business, but that's not Hootsuite's fault!

I like that I can schedule multiple posts on different channels seamlessly, it saves me a lot of time.
I wish I could post a tweet to two twitter accounts, right now I can only post to one at a time.
